Fantastic experience: We've had good experiences, twice now using Skogman. Our initial Realtor has since retired, and we were very happy with our current Realtor, Lena Gilbert. She did a great job. Was very much on top of things through the whole process of purchasing a condo, then selling our home. I'd highly recommend using Skogman and working with Lena!

Fantastic experience: Jane Glantz was exceptional, went above and beyond to sell our house !! After having a not so good experience with another realtor(house stayed on market for almost 6months with a few showings)and moving out of Iowa- being unable to be around was quite stressful for us, we got Jane on board. She came highly recommended, she loved the property, promised us that she will do her best and she did indeed.. Our house sold within 2 months of having her, the number of showings increased dramatically and we’re glad our beautiful home found new owners. We highly recommend Jane and Skogman !

Fantastic experience: Alexandra Braaksma was the agent we worked with and she was great. Made sure we got the best price in the home we sold, helped every stage of the way even when we were out of state. Would absolutely recommend her.

Negative experience: I thought our agent was unaccommodating, lacked a personal interest and was deceptive in practice.

Fantastic experience: Jill and Jacey were very thorough, helpful and professional in buying our new home and also selling our old house. We highly recommend these two ladies!

Negative experience: Renae Forsyth-Christy was absolutely terrible. Had no respect for people’s personal hours she would message at all hours of the night. She would constantly ask questions when she was already given the answers. Had to sell my house as part of my divorce and I almost went to jail cause the court thought I didn’t sign the papers to have the house listed, when Renae had lost the papers I had already signed and forgot about them. Worst realtor I have ever had and I will never work with Skogman just because of Renae Forsyth-Christy.

Fantastic experience: Nick was on top of things as per usual. Handled all strange situations that seem to come up when buying/selling home. Great guidance on handling pricing and counter offers. Thanks for your help Nick and Skogman Realty.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience selling my house. I was surprised at how easy Bre Horstman made the process. It sold quicker then I had imagined. Things seemed like they were moving soo fast. I had alot of questions and what ifs. Bre always had answers and never seemed bothered with my over abundance of questions. Skogman Realty was the right choice for selling my home. Agent Bre Horstman is a Rockstar!

Fantastic experience: We were very pleased with the service we received from Skogmans. Our realtor, Wendy Votroubek, was wonderful. She really honed in our needs and requests which saved us a lot of time, since we were moving from Texas. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable realtor. Wendy went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect house. Skogmans is a full service company that offers insurance and recommends mortgage companies that are reliable and easy to work with. Wendy hooked us up with Brad Maras, at Green State Mortgage, which made the process go smooth and quick. We were also able to get the house professionally and thoroughly inspected in a quick time frame by Jay Heckart at National Property Inspection. Jay was very professional and did a very in-depth Inspection. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with all the services and would like to thank everyone that helped make this as stressless as possible.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience working with The Efting Team to sell a small investment property. I was impressed with the timely communication, great understanding of our goals, and expert advice throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: Putting a house on the market while you're 2,000 miles away is a stressful experience, but we were in good hands with our agent Michelle Lochner. She kept in touch, had almost weekly open houses until it went sale pending--and went above and beyond keeping an eye on the place--watering the flowers in the window box, and delivering the bad news that the tree and the front yard had fallen in the big thunderstorm. Fantastic experience: Our agent was communicative and listened well. For us, coming from a different state, figuring out what we needed and wanted in Iowa was a process. She hung in there with us, providing information, meetings, listings by email and texting answers as well.

Fantastic experience: My Skogman Realtor was Will Brandt and I couldn't have been happier with the service he provided. He was very proactive about keeping me informed about process and was always very responsive. My home sold on the first day it was listed, and though that sale didn't go through -- it was on the buyer and her Realtor, not on Will. He re-listed it immediately and again, it sold on the first day. I was happy with the entire process and would 100% recommend Will.

Fantastic experience: The purchase and closing of my home was smooth, Tim Nash had sent me links to many homes before I moved from Idaho. This gave a chance to figure out more of what I wanted. The house showed well, as the sellers were master decorators. The seller's agent was also with Skogman Realty. I am making a few cosmetic changes, but it is a good solid home. Lori took care of every detail, from scheduling inspections and bids from contractors, to making sure all of the closing details were happening on schedule! Fantastic experience: Heather Morris was our agent. Valuing our home was a challenge because there weren't any comps in our neighborhood. She took a highly analytical approach to the whole market which resulted in a listing price higher than we expected. Her marketing plan was well thought out and executed exactly as promised. The result was we received a full value offer in 5 days. Her excellent work didn't end there. There were some complications with setting a closing date. She managed the negotiations flawlessly. She was very responsive to emails and text messages. We recommend Heather highly.

Fantastic experience: We contacted Nathan Kejella in February 2025 as we were having trouble selling the house after being on the market at least 9 months.Nathan was very helpful to us as we were in Des Moines, he explained everything so we understood all the moving parts of the sell. He kept us informed, communicated with us regularly. By March 7, our house was sold!! We are very thankful to Mr. Nathan Kejella for going the extra mile for us!! We were very fortunate to have worked with him and Skogman Realty! Highly recommend contacting them for home sale or buy!

Fantastic experience: Steve Emig was very professional. He is such a courteous person. Always ready to show the homes we were interested in. We purchased our new home from him and he sold our other home. Very helpful with ideas to help sell our home. We had an offer 24 hours after we listed it. Sold for asking price.

Fantastic experience: We ran into hiccups (nothing that was anyone’s fault) but Tiffany Earl Williams, Shannon Debner and Tiffany’s assistant Paula were so helpful and patient with getting my partner and I through selling my home and us purchasing a home together. All of these women were so knowledgeable and kind, we will never work with anyone else and we will continue to recommend all of our friends and family to work with agents from this office!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with John Beardsworth. I bought and sold houses through him. The new tech made it easy to manage showings and view houses on the market. I never felt concerned once during my process. John was pretty upfront about everything I needed to know and always answered my questions on things I wasn’t familiar with.! My only regret was not being able to go golfing with him! Thank you, I intend on using Skogman in the future!

Fantastic experience: The process was very professional, we got the best price for our home and it sold in 14 days. Our agent was very knowledgeable on the process and the team had suggestions for us on what to do for showing the home. My only complaint would be communication sometimes was left up to us to get information also seems like the electronic process takes the personal interaction away.

Fantastic experience: I love my realtor. Susie Eaton helped me sell my house 3 years ago on Apache Trail. When I decided to move back to Cedar Rapids I contacted her immediately. She is so nice and knowledgeable. She took my sister and niece around to so many houses to find one that would work for me. I even apologized for her having to run around so much and she just said - “Oh my! It’s what I do!” She is just the best and I would recommend her to anyone! Best experience buying and selling a house!
