1 month ago Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful time at this rental. The location of this apartment allows you to see most wonderful sunsets from the balcony. The beach is at a walking distance without having to cross any road. The building has good restaurants, cafe, stores, car rental and SPA. The apartment is very open, bright and has balconies on two sides. Overall you get good value for the money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

2 months ago Experiencia fantástica: The place was very nice. The bed was great, and the living room furniture was comfortable. The view of the city was awesome. The hotel employees were very nice. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a few food storage bowls for the refrigerator and maybe a couple more glasses and cups. We enjoyed walking the short distance to the beach and to many great restaurants.

Love the dispensers in the shower and soap dispenser on sink!! Great plus was the Tommy Bahama beach chairs!! Great location, have breakfast and lunch on Lanai! Shady most of day! Walk to Mall, Ala Moana Park, downtown etc!!

2 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Awesome place. Just off the beach. Million restaurants bars shopping choices one block away. Quiet clean safe. Easy check in. Comfy bed full kitchen plus plates etc etc. nice shower bath. Will stay again no doubt. Management is on it for sure.

2 months ago Experiencia fantástica: This unit was perfect for our 6 day trip to Honolulu....I did not mind the construction area around the pool at all, noise was at a minimum. The view of Diamond Head was spectacular! Good parking, clean and within walking distance of Waikiki.

I want to call out their customer service in particular which is not only responsive, but very helpful and kind. 3 months ago Experiencia fantástica: This is an affordable clean 1BR-2bed unit with a functional kitchen in Waikiki. Ali’i Beach Rental was very responsive to our questions and concerns. The location can’t be beat, less than 2 blocks from a safe beach and also a few blocks from the action in Waikiki! (When we rented, the pool deck wasn’t open due to renovation, otherwise it would be even better).

4 months ago Experiencia fantástica: We stayed a month in this cozy apartment. The best part was perhaps the fantastic view facing north to mountains. The apartment was not too hot since the sun did not shine in. Also the balcony was shaded. We were able to rent a car for the whole stay since there was a garage in the building. The location was fine, many restaurants and beaches nearby. The apartment was cozy including everything necessary. Higly recommeded.

4 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Stayed here for our vacation (Nahua Location). It was three of us and the space provided was more than enough! The check in instructions were clear and easy. The space comes with everything you could need to make a meal, if you wished to make something. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a plus, as we saved so much money! The space also comes with a free assigned parking spot. Which is great because paying for parking can get expensive. You are within walking distance to many shops. The International Market Place is right by the condo. I definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to booking with them again!

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: This was a perfect set up for our group! Everything was so nice and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and lots of beach gear to use during our stay. The reservation process was seamless and clear. We flew in very late and everything was set up so we could just go right to bed once at the rental. We had to call once to which we got a voice mail, but a staff member called back within minutes after seeing the missed call. We are very pleased with our stay.

The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. The view was immaculate. And the cooler backpack saved us so many times, we used it everywhere! It help hold all our towels, snacks, water and scuba stuff. Then, I ended up on a Reddit post and saw someone mention a great experience from Ali’i rentals. I went to the website and booked a fabulous stay on Waikiki beach. 6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely recommend Ali’I Beach Rentals! Our 4 days at the Ilikai Hotel was well arranged with seamless check in. Clean & spacious accommodation included a fully appointed kitchen, bathroom, plus big TV, beach towels, boogie boards, cooler etc. And a really great location! Had breakfast in the room each day before short walk to swim at the beautiful beach where we saw turtles swimming close by!! The in-house restaurants are great. Recommend the Empire Steak House happy hour menu with great view from the 30th floor. Ilikai Hotel is well positioned for our daily walks along the boardwalks to explore other beaches & places in Waikiki. Thank you Ali’I Beach Rentals for helping us arrange 4 fabulous days in beautiful Honolulu.

6 months ago Experiencia positiva: We loved this condo. I've been to Hawaii 13 times and this was one of the best places we've stayed. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is this Condo does not have parking. We parked across the street at the post office for $55 a day. Great beach and park just steps away. We stayed in unit 616 and we will definitely go there again!

6 months ago Experiencia negativa: Not trustworthy! My husband booked a place for us as we look for longer term housing. A while after booking and getting confirmation, they sent an email. It’s a holiday weekend and they demanded a response the same day. We replied the following morning but were told they already cancelled our reservation. Wouldn’t we just book again at their new price that’s $1,500 more? Taking to them to try and resolve, it was clear they just wanted more money. There was no urgent issue, they never called, they just decided they could get more money than our reservation. So be warned if you reserve with them… they may leave you hanging. EDIT: The owner left a response citing verification processes. We NEVER received any communications on August 28 or 29. I have the message receipts and can gladly share. Our only message was Aug. 30 and we responded within a day, despite the holiday weekend! The property was still available. They just wanted to jack the price over $1k.
We understand your disappointment, but we'd like to clarify our standard verification process for all guests. Our booking confirmation requires ID verification within 24 hours for security purposes, which is clearly outlined in our booking terms. You received your first verification request at 1:59PM on August 28th, followed by automated reminders at 12 and 24 hours as standard protocol. Our team member even provided an additional grace period, sending a personal message on August 30th morning before the final cancellation at 6:08PM - giving you nearly 52 hours total instead of our standard 24-hour policy. This verification requirement has nothing to do with pricing changes and applies to all reservations regardless of dates or rates. We understand the timing was inconvenient during a holiday weekend, but these security measures protect both our properties and guests, and we cannot make exceptions to our established policies. It had a full kitchen, dining room and two beds, it also had an umbrella and beach chairs which helped us a lot to go to the beaches. I was very satisfied with my visit here. 9 months ago Experiencia positiva: Ali'i Beach Rentals My family and I rented a house for 10 days for a group of 10 people from this company, and we were absolutely delighted! The house was cozy, clean, and well-maintained — you could really feel the care that went into preparing it for guests. It was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The representatives were responsive, friendly, and always ready to help. There are a few things future guests should be aware of: Hot water supply. The amount of hot water wasn’t quite enough for all 10 of us. The last person to shower usually had to take a refreshing cold shower. We had to either shower very quickly or wait for the water heater to refill and warm up again. Household supplies. The house comes with a starter supply of essentials: a few dishwasher tablets, some trash bags, a small amount of laundry detergent, a few rolls of toilet paper, and one roll of paper towels — likely left from previous guests. Be prepared to purchase additional household items for the duration of your stay. Sleeping arrangements. The sofa in the downstairs living room is not suitable for sleeping — it sinks in and is uncomfortable. We had to buy an air mattress so that two members of our group could sleep properly. Despite these minor things, everything else was absolutely great! The house is located in a stunning, peaceful area with beautiful views and a serene atmosphere. Just keep in mind that it typically takes about 1 to 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive to the city or the other side of the island. 9 months ago Experiencia fantástica: We stayed here for 7 nights. We loved the location right on the beach . Sea lions joined us on shore daily and we had a front row view of the Friday night fireworks. Walked to everything. Starbucks right next door. The unit had good AC and exactly as the pics. Extras we didn’t expect were two nice beach chairs in the room , with an umbrella . Two brand new body boards adult size and two kids sizes, and an insulated cooler. I’m sure maybe someone left these and we cannot guarantee the room comes with them but it sure was nice. Convenient and great view ! Highly recommended

Interactions and communications were efficient and clear. Questions were answered via text as needed - response was typically same day if not within the hour. The unit at Marine Surf Waikiki, albeit on the older side, was clean and prepared as expected when we arrived. We were generally happy with the unit and our interaction with Ali'i Beach Rentals and would rent again from this agency.

10 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Very affordable for a monthly rental! Use to live on Oahu so it is perfect for our annual family getaway to the island. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I requested for a change in reservation, really appreciate their help, and they were really quick to get back to me! The unit was clean and had all the amenities needed! It was also located only a couple of blocks from the beach, and at the center of Waikiki. Easy self check-in and check-out. Truly appreciate the free washer & dryer, as well as the parking spot, omg life saver!!! Ali’i Rentals has an array of amazing rentals, will definitely look at the other listings on their website. I will only book with them for now on, and have been recommending them to all my family and friends! 11 months ago Experiencia fantástica: The Ilikai Hotel thru Ali'i Beach Rentals is a great place to stay. Condo we stayed in was renovated and exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the sunset, and the pool. Loved that the pool is open early for lap swimmers and water exercise. We took advantage of this. 11 months ago Experiencia fantástica: The unit had a well equipped kitchen and great view. We made it a goal to spend as little time in the unit as possible and explore as much as we could. But while we were there it was a nice spot to relax and recover. Beach chairs and cooler were nice to have and not need to rent elsewhere. Walked out side to see the free fireworks and hula outside the lobby. Definitely park at the marina like 100 yards behind the hotel. $1/hour vs something like $45/day to park

They are courteous, professional and the rental descriptions and costs are accurate. The Sky Ala Moana unit is fantastic. The condo was clean, spacious and the security was outstanding. The location is ideal - next to Ala Moana Shopping Center, Magic Island, Waikiki, restaurants and local beaches. From the room and lanai, you have a view of the mountains, ocean, Magic Island, the Ala Wai Harbor and fireworks displays.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: The Waikiki Banyan rental property on 9th floor was in bad shape and not secure. When we unfolded the comforter from the closet, it was puked on and never cleaned. The inside lock was broken and they told us not to drink the water. Anyone could walk into the building and come up to our floor until 10 pm. We did not feel safe. Spend your money elsewhere!
We take all feedback seriously and must address several inaccuracies in this review. Regarding the comforter, we've carefully reviewed your photo and noticed the stain appears fresh. Our cleaners' protocols include a thorough inspection of all linens and blankets during washing and folding, and this type of stain would have been impossible to miss during their standard cleaning process. We're investigating what might have occurred between their cleaning and your stay.
About the door lock, we use a smart lock that automatically secures the door once closed - preventing entry from the outside without the proper code. This is actually a security feature, not a broken lock.
Regarding water, we provide complimentary boxed water for all our guests. After that, it's at each guest's discretion whether they choose to drink tap water, use filtered water, or purchase additional bottled water based on their personal preference.
As for building security, The Waikiki Banyan has 24-hour security personnel on-site, so it is highly unlikely that random individuals would loiter around the property as suggested.

1 year ago Experiencia positiva: Unfortunately Ali'i Beach rentals is not transparent with their review process on their website. They only publish positive 4 and 5 star reviews on their website listings. For example, we stayed in the 40th floor unit in Island colony and left a very objective review about our stay. We mentioned things about the room such as the lack of cleanliness, dated and damaged fixtures, and very worn out mattresses. We also mentioned that upon our arrival/check in late in the evening one of our reservations did not even exist in the system and we had to pay out of pocket to rent a room directly from Island colony for the night and then move again the next day (the front desk manager tried contacting Ali'i emergency number, and so did we numerous times to no avail). Ali'i did make it right in the end but this is not something we had ever experienced before and not something we wanted to deal with late in the evening traveling with young children. We felt it all warranted a less than 5 star review but they chose not to publish any of our remarks on their website. Because of this we feel that we can no longer trust that their reviews fairly represent their rentals and we will no longer rent from them. Be sure to do your homework before renting so you're not stuck with a 3 star stay in a fake "5 star" condo. *Edited to add that despite their reply here on google I did indeed contribute a review to their website and received confirmation of same.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Excellent response time, service and ease of booking with Alii. My wife and I stayed at one of their homes in Makaha. The community felt very safe and was a great place to stay after a long day at the beach. The home itself was beautifully furnished and we felt right at home. One of the things we loved the most was the selection of games - giant Jenga and cornhole just to name a few. We are very happy with our experience and will definitely be booking again through Alii.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: The property at Waikiki Beach Tower was beautiful exactly like the photos and just steps from the beach. The valet guys were super helpful and nice. I loved the fact that the company texted me information about check in and property details. I also found the door code and access very easy. Having the ability to text them directly was a great resource as they answered quickly and were very helpful from our very first question about reservations to check out. Will absolutely book with them again next time we are on the island. Definitely recommend and five stars all around. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: This was our first time in O'ahu and we had an amazing time there exploring the island. The accommodation was well-equipped, clean and in good condition! For two people it was the perfect! The apartment also had a balcony with a great view of the marina :) I would recommend it for couples!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: This rental was equipped with virtually everything you would need for your vacation! The property was extremely well kept and the decor was spot on for Hawaii. Also, the patio is super spacious so we were all able to enjoy its gorgeous view of the city and nearby water canal. Finally, the check in process was very simple and hassle free. The only downside was having to pay $40 a day for parking at the building.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This was a superb stay, and every detail was well thought out by Ali’i Beach Rentals. First impression was cleanliness, we could tell that nothing was skimmed over and everything had been thoroughly cleaned. Everything that was essential was there, and organized. The unit had updated appliances, new furniture, and a good amount of space. We were getting text messages from start to finish to make sure everything was okay. Felt really safe and everyone was nice! Highly recommend ☀️

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Thank you Ali'i Beach Rentals for a really clean and sanitized condo at the Waikiki Watermark apt 2302. Believe me I have never been in a hotel or condo that washes the bedding right down to the mattress pad. All the bedding smells so clean and fresh. The only thing is the sofa in living room needs to be replaced. It is very uncomfortable for sitting. Another thing is if you are to replace the beds why not change from queen size to king size. You definitely have room for bigger beds.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Location is next to the Hilton Lagoon. Unit is easy to get to on the third floor. Nice view of the marina new LVP flooring from the kitchen to the outside is really nice. Beds were nice firm futon material. We really enjoyed our stay!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Ali'i Beach rentals made our vacation worry free. We couldn't figure out how the TV worked and they sent a tech over to show us. It was football playoff season and we had our priorities! The unit was nice and clean and it fit our budget nicely. The check in was super easy, even though our flight got in at 11:30 pm. We will use them again!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Great house/accomodation in Makaha Valley, very safe and quiet neighborhood in a gated community. House was very recently constructed, well furnished, very clean. The view from the ocean facing windows was spectacular. Close to several beaches with a great surfing school (Westside Surf) . Close to several shops and restaurants, about 1 hour drive to Honolulu. Communication with Ali'i beach was excellent, incredible fast and kind responses. Family and I would for sure book one of their houses again when we come back to Oahu next time. In December 23 several of the houses not accurately mapped on our car GPS, need to follow their excellent instructions to find the rental :-).

2 years ago Experiencia negativa: BE AWARE OF BED BUGS!!! Check your units thoroughly as the company claims they have unsurpassed cleaning standards. It's obvious they do not. I have over 50 bites from them. Pictures show the bed of bed bugs. Do not stay at Waikiki Shore, Unit 204. Address :2161 Kalia Rd. Honolulu HI, 96815

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We loved this condo! It is spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely lanai, great kitchen, roomy living room, and extremely comfortable beds. We had easy access to the beach and Waikiki, and the included parking was super convenient. The elevators were occasionally quite busy (at peak times), but we were able to use the stairs during those times. Highly recommend this spot, and we hope to return very soon!!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time staying at Ilikai Hotel and Suites, renting an apartment through Ali'i Beach Rentals. Loved it! The apartment was modern and clean, with plenty of storage. Appreciated the kitchen have a kettle. Loved the lanai - I started and ended everyday sitting outside, the sunsets were beautiful. I usually stay this end of Waikiki, as I like being walking distance to the beach and Ala Moana and Waikiki itself. It was useful being able to store my luggage ($2 bag) with front desk before checking in. Would definitely recommend, in fact have already done so!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We were 5 adults (only 2 were married to each other, 2 females, 3 males). It was a nice big room with enough beds so that there was nothing awkward about staying there. The beach was in easy walking distance. We needed to go to the Honolulu Convention Center a couple of times and that was a short walk. The Pesca restaurant at the top of the hotel was a nice place for our group to go to enjoy drinks later in the evening when we got home. The valet service was very efficient as well. We tipped everyone well since everyone there seemed happy to help you out.

Nicely appointed condo with all the essentials for an awesome Hawaiian vacation home base. And so close to all the gorgeous north shore beaches. Will be staying here again!!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We had a 2 week staycation booked with Alii Beach Rentals. It was awesome. The check in and out was so easy. Instructions provided by the staff of Alii Beach Rental were easy to follow and they were readily available for questions during our stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We felt at home. The unit had split AC, which is a luxury for our family. The area neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was within a gated community so we felt very safe. We could park two vehicles at the unit and there is guest parking nearby so we were able to have guests over. The location was close to beaches, restaurants, and golf course - very convenient. It was a very nice rental. We hope to book the same unit again. Thank you Alii Beach Rentals for a very relaxing staycation.

2 years ago Experiencia positiva: The rental property itself was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The location was fabulous. We were able to walk to the beach and the downtown restaurants, etc. The code that was provided at check in did not work, so we had to call in order to get the issue resolved. Fortunately, the new code worked right away. The parking was convenient and essential since parking is not easy to come by!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We had a great stay with Ali'i Rentals. There were a few issues with our unit and access to the pool, but Ali'i worked hard to resolve those issues after a few days. Since we were staying for a month, it wasn't a big deal. There were no surprises and everything was pretty much exactly as advertised. There were lots of towels and extra bedding. We wished there were extra blankets for the beds and for lounging on the couch. It would have been nice to have some beach supplies, like a few boogie boards, mats, goggles, cooler, etc. and maybe a welcome basket with some coffee and snacks. A few little details would take this company to the next level. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Ali'i Beach Rentals.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment in Waikiki. Perfect location that was close to the main street but still very quiet. Apartment was clean and tidy. Room was big enough for 3 adults and a toddler. Would definitely stay again!

2 years ago Experiencia positiva: Good prices and wonderful view of the Marina. The common areas need some freshening up, but over all our condo was clean, the pull out living room bed was not the most comfortable but the Room mattress was good. I would rent there again.
