Experiencia negativa: Have never seen such disrespect from a company. Went into the office with a friend to talk to someone and she had the audacity to not even notice we were standing there, she was to busy paying attention to the 2 kids that she was watching (her grand kids) my friend had to say excuse me to get her attention as I was standing there for 5 minutes before saying something .. She claimed no one was available to talk to about an issue my friend was having communication was not GOOD!

Experiencia negativa: Charisma review Hasn’t been too terrible living here itself aside from how terrible the neighborhood is and crime around the area. Have only lived here for a year and there have been multiple instances with police on my street including once for a shooting. Was going to leave a decent review considering I haven’t had any major problems with them other than being late once on rent and failing to let them know it was going to be late which I’ll take accountability for. However, by looking at these other reviews responses, it’s clear this management company is very unprofessional. Airing out everyone’s business whenever there is a negative review. I’m also glad I wasn’t the only one who when having to call, received a snarky person on the other side. I have never spoken to them rudely to receive the attitude. All I’m gonna say before they wanna air out my business next, just take a look at the responses on these reviews by this company and then make your decision on if you still think you wanna give them any of your money. Very disappointing and unprofessional and I wish I would’ve read the reviews before moving in. Thankfully will be my last month here.

They keep the website updated, which made things so much easier, and anytime we’ve called with a question, they’ve been quick to help. Jen D. was amazing when we stopped by the office, so friendly, informative, and patient. She made sure we had all the details we needed and told us to call her anytime if we needed anything else. Thanks to her, the move-in process felt smooth and stress-free.
Experiencia negativa: Just like every other big leasing company. Doesnt care about the people living there only care about the money. Doesn’t fix things in time. Working through them and not the owner is a hassle. Because of them and other reasons you pay out the a for rent. Snotty when going to the office with problems. Renting in general is terrible let alone buying your own house but let’s just add on these fools to make it worse.

Experiencia fantástica: Lived in the West Oaks Estates in Hartford the past 2 years and only moved to be closer to family. Management was great and took care of any maintenance requests or issues we had right away and gave plenty of notice for inspections, building maintenance, snow removal ect. It's a quiet and safe area with friendly neighbors too. Highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: I understand not being approved, but I did just ask a question as we are from an area that doesn't have this system with property management and such. I was told I have a tone and "we already denied you anyways" definitely steer clear of this property management company. Just this small interaction was enough to see how we could've been treated if we had been approved and had any issue. Edit to add - good on you guys for showing how two faced your company is :) You trust a company to run your background and they use this against you in a comment because they can't take any criticism. Yes I do owe a previous property management company because the mold and cockroach issues that became apparent during the lease, which effected my child's health. I definitely wouldn't rent from a company that would use your personal background against you.

Per the recorded phone call, you were told that you could appeal the denial and that your application would be reviewed by someone in the office that had not yet seen your application. You were told there was no guarantee the denial would be overturned do to the excessive amount owed to another landlord, however, you were repeatedly encouraged to appeal. We are sorry that instead of appealing your application, you felt it necessary to swear at our staff and hang up on them. We wish our recorded calls could be played so people can hear what was said. Experiencia negativa: I live in Park apartments in Brookings. The walls have no insulation. You can constantly hear noises in every apartment. The entire building shakes when upstairs neighbors walk. Everyone here is on edge. There are other issues but I don't want to make this to long. These apartments aren't fit to house animals let alone humans. It's loud! Terrible place! Smells too! Also "Charisma Property Management" I'm not putting my name on here I've contacted you several times about this. You have no business trying to put people or animals into this nasty place.

Experiencia positiva: APT was clean when I moved in . Had a couple minor things ,this that I pointed out. Light in oven broke off, they replaced quickly. Door handle had issues they replaced as soon as I got the work order in. Had a faulty GFI plug they replaced . All order things are in working order. And working well Not fancy but comfortable and close to work. They have responded quickly on these work orders within 3 days. Maintenance people are friendly and get the work done . Experiencia fantástica: Charisma has been pretty good to us. They've always been very quick to respond to any repairs or concerns we have had. The property they manage is in excellent condition. They've have done a great job maintaining the place since I've been here for the roughly 2-3 years. If I need to call them they are pretty easy to get a hold of and the gals in the office are personable and friendly. Every time I've gone in to pay my rent they ask how we have been. I've rented from all sorts of companies over the years. You really aren't going to get a better deal than this. The rent is reasonable and they are the real deal that you expect when renting with a management company.

Experiencia negativa: This property management company is terrible. We were erroneously charged for infractions and repairs. We complained about the noisy upstairs neighbor and nothing changed. We were losing our minds and I couldn't work from home. So, we moved. When we left, they sent us a bill with ridiculous charges -- including charges for smoking in the unit, which we DID NOT DO. Then, they sent that insane bill to Breit & Boomsma (a debt collecting law firm) for debt collection. Shady property management company working with a shady law firm. Beware! Note: Absolutely no one smoked in the unit, and since we couldn't get out of there fast enough, we bought a home outside of town, cutting short our lease. I'm not complaining about the lease terms, other than we shouldn't have had to deal with the noisy neighbor upstairs (+ her child who ran up and down the hall constantly and left her barking dog unattended -- sometimes for days -- in the apartment).
We are sorry it didn't work out for you at our property. The property does not allow smoking in the units because of the damage it does. Unfortunately the odor also affects other units that don't appreciate the smoke coming through the vents. It also requires that rent is paid according to the terms of the lease. We hope you were able to find a property that allows provisions in the lease that ours does not.

Experiencia negativa: All the staff needs to be on the same page. Communication skills are not their strong suit. They don't keep their promises and don't repair things that need to be fixed. It seems like they blame a lot of people for being rude and swearing at them but they do it themselves. Not every thing is the tenants fault and they don't listen to the tenants side of the situation. They claim they will work with you but they don't. This was at Keystone Apartments in Brandon, SD.
Stacy. Unfortunately the judge disagreed with your assessment of what took place and that is why he made you leave the premises so quickly after the court hearing. We hope that you have been able to find a new home and start over!
Experiencia positiva: I met with charisma properties to look at several homes. She was very informative on all the homes, the good amenities of the home and different attractions around the neighborhood. She’s very accommodating to both me and my husband’s availability. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five is because the first time we tried meeting we waited for a long time and didn’t have contact. But she contacted explaining the situation, and she set a whole day for me to look at several homes, which I appreciated.
Experiencia fantástica: I have been living at a Charisma maintained property for over 6 months. Candace helped me find the place that would suit my needs, went above and beyond to do so. The office helped me through the whole process. The move in process was easy and so is getting any maintenance request done. The property is well maintained, between mowing and snow removal. It’s been the best experience renting a place and I would recommend charisma to anyone. I will be extending my lease!
Experiencia fantástica: 02/14/2024 Me and two additional people had asked about viewing some properties a week ago. Candace asked what we were looking for and our price range. She showed us three properties right from the get go and all were exactly what we wanted! We applied for one of the properties right after the showing. Charisma property has reached out to us right away when we had questions and concerns. This shows they truly care about their tenants and for that I’m beyond excited to hopefully become one! Highly Recommend!
Experiencia negativa: Everything went well for 2 years until I found out that they wanted 30 days notice to leave, but will kick a tenant out in 3. It doesn't matter that I was on time with my payments for the whole duration I lived there. I missed one month and out on the street. No calls, no notice. They went straight to eviction paperwork. This double standard ruined for me any good they may have done. I believe respect is mutual. If you want me to give you 30 days notice, then you should give me the same.
Nathaniel. We are sorry for your frustration. You are in a lease agreement until 2025 so unfortunately paying the rent is still a part of that lease. You chose to leave your unit rather than allowing us to work with you on a payment plan. We wish you well and hope things come together for you.
Experiencia negativa: Worst property management company I've ever seen in the United States, they are the absolute worst to deal with. I'm sure by the responses on all these reviews by charisma will speak volumes! Read carefully at these responses because this (could/ likely will be you). Always protecting themselves and never admitted they were in the wrong. They say "Sorry" as if they even know the definition of the word. ( I bet nobody there could give the definition to the word sorry). They also let their venders scam you as well. You will always be the problem in their eyes and they will never care for anything less then their rent money and any money they can scam you for. They make you do your own inspection as well as if I should be doing their job! Maintenance guy who replaced the filter in the furnace and also installed a CO2 detector was scanning my apartment for something else to report me for. Very bad experience. As I was moving out three other tenants that were moving out also said that it was terrible to deal with.... I noticed you added a little tidbit yourself and if you're talking about verbally abusing staff you're referring to a private phone call which should not be made public..... I would like to figure out who is slandering me about a private phone call I think there's federal laws that protect me there... And also that is a lie your vendor is terrible at his job Denny's appliances to be exact if we're going to throw the name out there yeah they suck comes to the door knocks very quietly stands there for maybe 60 seconds then dips out did not call me like I asked before arrival or upon arrival he had my phone number why didn't he call me I was in my apartment both times that he had charged me if you ask me not does charisma property Management suck so does Denny's appliance have a great day best of moving forward!!!!!
We are sorry you were not happy. Unfortunately, you can't ask vendors to make appointments so you can be at the unit when the work is to be performed, then not show up and/or answer the door or phone when they come. The vendor charged you because their time was wasted and they could have been doing work elsewhere. The vendor gave you ample opportunities to meet face to face and even then, you chose not to find a solution for your frustration. Unfortunately, it is also not acceptable to be verbally abuse staff. We hope you found another company that allows verbal abuse to vendors and staff! Best moving forward!

Experiencia negativa: I had a showing with a lovely and friendly woman. We told her my daughter was a full time college student and she said it was fine. After applying and paying the application fee we were told we didn’t qualify because my daughter was a full time student(hmmm contradiction there) I was told we would not get our money back because they already ran the credit check. They did offer other apartments at other places that did not have the same rules however I did not want to do business with them because I felt taken advantage of. It was not my mistake and the professional thing to do would have been to reimburse my money. I am on disability and have a fixed income. This was very wrong and unprofessional.
Thank you for your feedback Stacey. The person that showed the unit is not the same person that runs the applications. As directed by the leasing agent, you were told to contact our office for that reason before applying and unfortunately, we did not hear from you. There are exceptions for being a college student, but in this particular situation, according to tax-credit guidelines, she did not meet any of the exceptions. We hope your daughter found something that meets her housing needs!
Experiencia negativa: They are quick and friendly to get you into a property but once you are in that changes! They let me move into a unit that needed work and was NOT cleaned! For the first 3 months someone was in my unit fixing something. Anytime something goes wrong and you complete a work order they mark it as complete without fixing it! They kept most of my deposit for things that were not my responsibility..like whole new blinds for few blinds being bent...which is wear and tear. And repainting isnt somethin you keep the deposit for. I definitely would not recommend anyone renting from them that doesn't absolutely have to! If you do get ready to live in some kind of detection center because they will not make it an enjoyable experience!
We are sorry for your experience Brianna. The blinds were all new when you moved in. The unit was clean. The dishwasher did not work and it was taken care of as soon you notified our office. As far as our property being a detection center, we are part of crime free housing, so when unauthorized persons are moved into units with criminal backgrounds that don't meet our criteria, it is an issue. There are other residents at the property to keep into consideration. We wish you well moving forward.

Experiencia fantástica: I moved in towards the end of July. I waited to leave a review until something “went wrong” to see what would happen. I’ve only talked to the sweetest women ever who work in the office, paying rent and maintenance is a breeze. I put in a maintenance request for my air conditioner and a tech was here and it had fixed within 2 hours!!!!! What!!!! Thank you, charisma!!

Experiencia fantástica: Whether walking into the Charisma office or meeting staff in person or speaking with them on the phone, the familial feeling is palpable. From Jean's sweet voice greetings to Rex's hiliarous sense of humor to Jen's expedience with maintenance calls and Mckenzie's committment in answering client's phone calls (even when her baby son is in surgery, no less), it is all done with sincerety, kindness and the willingness to just be of service. Property manangement is not for the faint of heart and they all do it with such grace. There are so many more staff members I haven't met; however, I have no doubt of their excellence as well. This incredible company is led by Amy Miller who is of the utmost integrity in guiding her staff, clients, tenants, vendors, etc. Amy always has time to address any issue and she does it with such compassion, attentiveness and positive attitude (not bad with the humor department either). From a client's perspective, I am so fortunate that I was given the opportunity to meet and work with Charisma. They are a great representation of community for Sioux Falls.

Experiencia negativa: I get you have hud regulations and so does my current property. With that same exact form!! You all said you would not accept my dr note from my primary dr. For my pet and nor did anyone ask for them or have a place to provide them! Right off the bat you said you would not accept them with out asking for them! I have emails saying this! My dr and hud all said that its all you need. I have emails also stating this from my dr and hud. My current property tried to do this and attorney told them they have to accept my note coming from my primary dr. And they did with out additional dr noted forms filled out cause the attorney said they had too. And that came from the property attorney that works for the property I live at. It’s okay glad I never brought my business here.
Chris we are sorry for the one star review. Our policies and procedures are in place for a reason and we comply with HUD rules and regulations. It's also one thing to state you have documentation for something and another not to provide it. We hope you found something that met your housing needs.
Experiencia fantástica: I had requested to look at an opening in Hartford. Let me tell you this lady named Kaycee came prepared lol. One set of keys didn't work for the place that was open and didn't work so plan B a different set of keys for the next building over. We go over and bam another situation lol this time the electric company had to shut off the power supply right before we walked in. We got in she made us feel right at home and opened every single blind so we did not have keep using our lights from our phones and made sure we were safe viewing the different rooms and even as we were walking out of the building in the dark hallways. She was very understanding and answered every question I had and any questions my children had also. Im hoping to touch base with them again tomorrow and maybe see 1 other place before making a decision on where to move. She has answered or called me back very time I have needed to speak to her. Experiencia fantástica: Edit: I have been in my place almost 4 years now. I plan on renewing my lease. Charisma is a really good Landlord that cares about it tenants. My AC went out and I was contacted by a manager (Jen) and had it fixed right away. Their app works great still. Even the rent increases are fair. Something every tenant worries about. Overall the best place I have ever rented. Highly recommended. Old review: I've been in my place for almost 2 years now. The staff is always kind. I like how we are kept informed via text messages and can pay our rent via an app. Work orders are completed in a timely fashion. When my heat went out this winter, the maintenance guys came right out and fixed it on a Saturday night. I plan on renewing my lease. I like the apartment and the location. It really helps having a good landlord. I appreciate the service Charisma provides.

Experiencia fantástica: Overall a very nice place to live. Rent is reasonable, properties are well-maintained and welcoming and I’m lucky enough to have nice neighbors. Maintenance concerns are quickly addressed. The staff has been very friendly, and they always work with me through financial issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I began the difficult process of relocating to South Dakota from another state, so that I can be closer to my elderly parents in Sioux Falls. The staff at Charisma were very helpful finding a suitable, affordable property for me to move into. They have been very kind and patient with me during this transition, and I am grateful for their assistance. Experiencia fantástica: I had a virtual tour with Candace and she was wonderful. I currently live 3 hours away so I cannot be onsite for all my initial viewings. Candace’s patience and thoroughness along with the properties cleanliness means I will be back next week to see the property. I’ve narrowed it down to two and Charisma and Candace are on the top of the list!

Experiencia fantástica: On my 3rd year in signing my new lease, for my apartment. Had so many questions, through the years and Jean has been so special in answering my crazy questions . And have had to request maintenance, and had very great results and in a timely manner.
Experiencia fantástica: Working with Jen was absolutely amazing. BUT... do not expect to get your deposit back no matter how immaculate you leave the apartment. It is just NOT going to happen. The Charisma management team does not even know the laws concerning Seniors and Disabled and their ability and their rights to exit their lease early. We had a MAJOR problem with Charisma and their unwillingness following the law. Jen was the only bright spot about working with Charisma.
Brent. We are happy that Jen was able to assist you! We are not sure about the comment on not ending the lease term early, not knowing the laws or not knowing tenant right's...the lease term still had several months to be fulfilled, YET we worked with you and terminated the lease without any issues or additional charges! As far as the deposit goes, 3rd party vendors are hired to do the work and the deposit funds go to pay those vendors. Unfortunately the $300 deposit did not cover all the vendor bills for the 1215 sq ft apartment. Charisma does not upcharge any of the vendor invoices for any of our properties. You were charged exactly what the vendor charged for tenant charges and received the invoices. You are welcome to call and discuss further if you wish. We wish your family the best moving forward.
Experiencia negativa: Lived here little over one year and are on our 3rd refrigerator. First time we lost over $150 in groceries. This one is not cooling again now and they responded that they don’t know how long it will take. Have probably another $150 in groceries in there that are going to waste. They will not reimburse either. I am at my wits end with this company. Waited 2 FULL days for our toilet to be fixed as well. They always have other stuff they are working on and never just take accountability. The snow removal this year as well was a complete mess!!! In response to the feedback from Charisma, I may have been rude on the phone and I will take accountability for that. However as you can see in their response to me, they are very unprofessional. When I initially call in I am not rude or snarky, it is there lack of empath that gets me every time. Empathy from a company is important for customer service. I did get a new fridge yes, however I again have lost groceries. As a single mom struggling this is a big thing!! I am just very frustrated with this whole ordeal.
Angie. You seem to think it is ok to call and be as nasty and rude as you can to anyone from our staff that you talk to. It is not acceptable!! Any work orders that have been turned in have been done in a timely manner as we have never heard otherwise from you. We are sorry your refrigerator went out but are glad we were able to get you a new one so quickly on a weekend. You are welcome to call our office and discuss any other concerns you have, in a civil and respectful manner.

Experiencia fantástica: Very extensible showing. The staff on the phone are a breath of fresh air, and the onsite representatives are very attentive to detail. Both are very quick to respond to both feedback and requests.
Experiencia negativa: Stay clear of Charisma Property Management. They make the move in process quick and easy, but once moved in the customer service is very, very bad. Their Receptionist isn’t able to help with anything, the managers are extremely rude and don’t return phone calls, all requests are processed at their pace and to solely their benefit, and they won’t attempt to make any accommodations to benefit the renters. Our attempt to get of our lease 2 months early ended up costing us more than if we would’ve stayed for the remainder of the lease.
Cole. We are sorry you are unhappy. You gave notice to terminate your lease early. The process of doing so was explained to you and you still chose to sign the paperwork to do so. We did exactly what you needed to have done. We re-rented your unit quickly to help you get out of the extra payments. We are sorry that your plans changed & you needed the unit longer. Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I are new to Charisma. We closed on our home on February 3rd, 2023. We love our home and are very happy to be a part of this community. I just had a great phone session with Rex on helping me set up auto pay. She did a great job walking me through the process in a very short time, making certain she saw on her end that it was set up properly. Rex also stopped me from clicking too soon a couple times. Experiencia negativa: Charisma Property Hartford SD rent at $1199 per month December 2022 garage is extra. I was taken advantage of due to a situation my fault. However when it snows expect to be snowed in for 24 hours maybe longer depending on forecast accept it you will miss work school doctor visits. Sidewalks are icy and dangerous. Expect issues. I hope to save anyone on a tight budget with limitation. Pictures upon request.
Experiencia positiva: We lived in a property Charisma managed last year. I gave them 4 stars because I never knew how I was going to be treated when I called staff. Sometimes they were nice and sometimes they were snarky. Sometimes we would receive different responses as well. An example of this was the early termination fee we had to pay. I called different days and spoke to different people. Each staff gave me different prices. We eventually figured it out. I didn't think that inconsistency with staff was necessary though. For the most part we enjoyed our experience. When we lived there, they had an online maintenance request system. There's been a few times when maintenance showed up on days, I did not request on the webpage. Example would be I requested maintenance for tomorrow but, they showed up that day. That would be fine if I knew ahead of time, they were going to show up same day. Charisma management kept the place we stayed at well maintained. They shovel and the mow the lawns on a timely basis. I would catch them touching up the building by painting from time to time. I had a good interaction with Amy. She was thorough and professional. She answered questions we had for her. She even congratulated us on purchasing a place.

Experiencia negativa: Run as fast you can from this company. Do not rent with them, I repeat, do not rent with them. They are the most rude, unprofessional people you could ever ask to deal with. They do not obey the law either. They never fix anything and when they do send someone they don't ever fix the issue. Their units are all in shambles and have a ton of deferred maintenance.

Experiencia fantástica: Charisma Property Management is a wonderful property management company. Our HOA uses them for property management and they have been nothing but helpful, cooperative, and supportive of all our needs. They are on top of all of our needs and are there to answer any questions of the owners or the board. They have helped us provide more services to our HOA members like online bill pay and handyman services for homeowners. Jen is the person I usually interface with and she is so wonderful. She is on top of all maintenance issues and has a solution for everything. When you call the office, everyone is so pleasant to work with. Their property management services are beyond believable, I can’t imagine managing our HOA without their help.
Experiencia negativa: These guys are responsible for our HOA's and do a terrible job. When you attempt to communicate with them, they never take the time to get back to you; I have left several voicemails about the same problems that us and other homeowners are having without the courtesy of a response. It's also quite telling that when they send out automated texts and emails, you cannot respond to them....as if they don't want to hear from you...but certainly have no problem taking your money. Recently found out they are also increasing HOA rates due to "inflation" despite people's salaries not going up...so now we're paying even more for a terrible job being done.

Experiencia positiva: The only reason this company gets 3 stars is because of a few of the ladies in this office that are kind and considerate. BUT! There is a gal named Makenzie who has treated my family and I like garbage and she's very rude! My family went thru a separation. I moved out with my kids. My husband talked my older son into moving in. Charisma added my son and his family in as roommates instead of family. Which means each party had to make 2.5 times the rent! Houses are already expensive to rent. Between the two parties, they made more than my husband and I did. So since they couldn't make enough, they're kicking my husband out! I strongly do not recommend this company!
Heather, we are sorry for your frustration. The combined income for household members 18 yrs and older must meet the 2.5 times the market rent requirement. There are many factors that affect why a lease would or would not be renewed. We do not make a habit of non-renewing leases without good cause. It is expensive to turn units after move outs. We wish you the best moving forward.

They relate to any problems as if they are living in the same situation, however, due to their constant attention to the building I haven’t known of anything that would be considered disastrous. They pride themselves in keeping the outside appealing to the eye as well as the inside of the building! I appreciate this as friends and family come and go it’s important to me to show this apt building is being taken care of! Thanks Charisma!!

Experiencia fantástica: We moved from out of state without even stepping foot in the property. The office was fantastic and did a video walk through with and kept us up to date. They do regular maintenance in the property and are quick to respond to any problems that arise.
Experiencia negativa: I have lived here for 6 months. For the price, I can’t complain. I work nights and it’s very quiet during the day and there’s never barking dogs. The other tenants are friendly and look after each other. It’s mostly older adults. I had checked with the police department prior to moving in and was told there was never crime in the area. The management has been responsive to my calls regarding when I moved in, but the apartment had not been cleaned prior to my moving in and the person who is responsible for keeping the entry ways clean does not do the the job and it hasn’t changed the dirty entry ways. Considering everything, I’d say the apartments are the average value and the tenants are nice people except for one person who warned me not to park in her spots or her boyfriend would be mad. (No parking spots are assigned) I could recommend living here if you cannot afford a higher end place to live.

Experiencia positiva: Tenant for 3 years. Majority of the staff are understanding and friendly. If any altercations occur it’s easily resolved with upper management. Maintenance is very quick when you need them.

To the people in the office answering question that I had. The property was very nice with open floor plan. The day I visited it snowed and grounds crew had been promptly removing the snow.

Experiencia negativa: Charisma Property Management deserves 0 stars. This company will be the death of me and my mental well being if I don't get away.. So July, I am supposed to move in. I was super excited.. Until the company fails to provide keys for me to actually utilize the unit. I am a single mom with 2 kids and this almost put us living in my vehicle for a week. I had a moving company scheduled to move us as I have no family here. We'll the moving company had no opening the next weekend. Here I am with my 2 kids spending a week loading a truck that was going to take us a week to unload. So this was Juky right, I still have yet to get keys to this unit. They were able to provide 2 garage fobs... I only have 1 car but thanks.. we have made that work although I'm curious, who has the keys anyways? Does anyone else read their lease on a regular because apparently every other Charimas tenant does. I have a friend that works remote and wanted a dog sitter for a week during the day so she could go into the office. No problem girl, I got you... right? Well the maintenance saw the dog here and goes to the office and says he saw 2 dogs here... so here I am this morning spending my time arguing with Amy. Inviting her to see my home because they want to charge me pet deposit of 500 twice and pet rent of 50 twice a month and a fee of 200 for breaking the lease I have dealt with 6 different rental companies in Sioux Falls. CHARISMA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS BY FAR THE WORSE. I CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE. JULY CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH!
Kenzie. We are sorry for your bad experience with our company. We are not sure what happened to your keys because your inspection sheet shows pictures of the garage remotes, a mailbox key AND a unit key. The keys were all in a packet that was personally handed to you when you moved in. You have rented from our company twice and the rules regarding pets hasn't changed either time. Making threats, hanging up on staff and not letting staff speak to address any of your concerns doesn't help solve any problems. The recorded call can help us recall how the phone conversation went. If you want real resolution, you are welcome to call our office and discuss in a professional manner.

Ms Jean at the front desk is very friendly she was amazing help when it. Are to Appling I had a short window to work with and she got my application reviewed right away and helped me figure out the dollar amts and management also understood that my daughter was gonna have to stay awhile after surgery and was very patient when it came to moving. They’re so nice, maintenance issues are resolved quickly and efficiently, the apartment is cozy and I feel so safe. Definitely consider them as an option when looking for a rental.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been living in Park Place known as Sertoma Hills back in 2016 when my family and I first moved here. It's a really nice neighborhood and close to all your favorite restaurants and stores, yet away from all the major traffic and kinda on the edge of town. Charisma is really good at responding to maintenance calls, taking care of their tenants, keeping the grounds looking nice and the living area safe. Plus you won't find a better place to live with central heating and air, that includes a parking spot and garage anywhere else in or near Sioux Falls.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from this company!!!! Stay away unless you want to be left in the middle of a freezing South Dakota winter without hot water. After asking them several times, and only receiving excuses, they never fixed the hot water situation. They sure love to collect the rent each month, but they don't want to do anything for it other than offer excuses. Worst property management company in the city! In response to their comment: Don't insult my intelligence! I know I can call the office. The problem is that nothing is done about the problems. I just get weeks of run around and excuses. They are not interested in really taking care of the tenant.
We are sorry you are having issues with a hot water heater. It would be helpful if you put your name to your complaint so we know who you are and can take care of your issue. If you want real resolution, you are welcome to call our office so we can schedule it to be fixed.

Experiencia fantástica: I have lived in the Southland Ln apartments since November, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Had a small issue with my key last month, but maintenance was super friendly and resolved the issue in about 10 minutes. All-around a nice complex and office employees that have been more than happy to help!
Experiencia positiva: They manage the apartment complex I'm in. Pretty decent response times and nice people. I wish there was an option to email them with questions instead of calling the office every time. My unit wasn't cleaned very well when I moved in, but it's a nice place. My final minor issue is that they offer only Wi-fi, which is flaky and seems to crash a lot. Would be better if there was an option to wire in with an ethernet cable. But that may be more specific to my complex and not to the property management.
Experiencia fantástica: I've lived in my apartment for about 13 years now and the people from Charisma have been nothing but nice and helpful with any issues that I have. I love my apartment but there are times when your neighbors are just a little too close and very noisy but that is to be expected lol. I would highly recommend anyone to rent from them!
Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Charisma Property are amazing! Especially Kaycee!! My family and I were pretty much homeless, living in hotels when I inquired about an apartment. After telling them our situation, Kaycee worked fast on our application and within a few days we were moving into our new home. We have been living in our apartment for almost two weeks now and we love it. The place is exceptionally clean and very quiet. Most certainly the nicest place we've ever lived!!

I love my forever home, I have been saying that since the day I seen it. It is so spacious, up to date and just has that home quality!!! I work from home and I have 3 grandkids, so my 3 bedroom and one bathroom is just perfect!!! Oh, did I mention my kitchen that has an island in it and I still have a lot of room for my kitchen table!!! There are so many cupboards that I don’t know what to do with, just gonna have to buy more dishes to fill them up lol !!! It’s an open floor plan with my kitchen n living room, my grandkids love running around the island and my long hallway to the bed rooms!!! The bedrooms are very big as well, more room then I know what to do with there also!!! My bathroom is huge also!!! It’s so perfect and so my forever home!!! Charisma Property has been the best by far to work with and they gave me the best forever home I could ever ask for!!!! You guys are amazing!!!

Charisma Property Management made it easy for me with a Face Time property walkthrough/inspection and lease via email. My contact was a pleasure to work with. The move was very challenging, but life is much better now that I'm here.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a tenant for about 1.5 years with Charisma Property. The rent is pretty reasonable for the amount of space that you get. The hallways get vacuumed pretty frequently and property management handles complaints appropriately.
