On the matter of your refund, we understand the frustration this has caused—especially if you have not received a response after calling and emailing. Refund timelines can depend on the final account reconciliation (including any pending utilities, fees, or move-out charges), but we do not want any resident feeling ignored or left without clarity.

As a new member to the community Hawthorne ensured my PII was secure, sent a well constructed welcome packet, and provided prompt access to the residential portal. Tenecia, the property manager is crème de la crème. She is professional, courteous, genuine, executes timely precision and integrity. I have had my share of experience with HOA managers. Tenecia hands down is the best.

2 months ago Experiencia negativa: I have been awaiting a response regarding my fence request for an extended period, and it has now exceeded the timeframe designated in the CCRs. I was previously asked when someone could come by to survey the area, and I promptly provided my availability. However, I never received a response. My emails have only generated repetitive automatic replies, and I have yet to receive a phone call. I have not been provided with an extension or direct contact. I have been a resident of Highland Creek for a little over two months and was initially told that a decision would be provided within 30 days. To date, nothing has occurred between December 16 and February 23. Emily Farmer has been little to no help at all.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry for the delay and lack of direct follow-up regarding your fence request. We understand how frustrating it is to provide your availability for a site visit and then not receive a response—especially when the timeframe referenced in the CCRs has passed and your messages are only triggering automated replies.
Fence requests can require specific documentation and, in some cases, a property survey or on-site verification to ensure the placement complies with Highland Creek’s architectural guidelines and CCR requirements. That said, we should still be communicating clearly with you about status, next steps, and any needed extension or additional information.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would like the opportunity to investigate what happened between December 16 and February 23, including the communication issues you described. Emily was tremendous to work with over the course of several months. She always responded to my questions and concerns and addressed them in a timely manner. 3 months ago Experiencia negativa: I believe you’re the property management company responsible for The Lofts at Seacrest Fl. Spring break is 2 weeks away and the pool is still not operational? Why? Also, the landscaping is in bad shape, it’s been like this for years, why? BTW, the pool is turning green with algae and homeless people sleep in the lobby because the exterior doors do not lock. SHAMEFUL, why?

That said, the conditions you described are not consistent with the standards we strive to uphold, and we take reports like this seriously.

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I have contacted HOA about a large shrub growing over the sidewalk at the end of Simon Says alley onto Talley Way which blocks the person and/or dog from being visible until driving beyond the alleyway. MARI responded to me quickly after my stated concern. She was polite and professional in her response and has since given me updates in a timely manner. MARI represents Antiquity well.

I called Hawthorne and they understood my predicament and advised the HOA that I wouldn’t be able to address their complaint until the end of October.I fixed what was necessary and sent pictures to Hawthorne Mgt and they forwarded my picture to the HOA, Mari from Hawthorne was super nice and handled everything quickly and efficiently.

6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: We have lived in the Mount Isle Harbor community since 2016, almost ten years. Since that time Hawthorn Management has been the consummate management company. I’d like to highlight a recent experience. My wife and I are renting our community clubhouse for the first time and many of the processes were a challenge for us and we had a few questions on order to ensure the rental process was completed on time. Both Robbie Satterfield and Chris Miller were expeditiously kind, responsive, and spot on with responses to our questions. In addition, they helped making the processes common sense to minimize extraneous efforts on our part. Efforts such as theirs should not go unnoticed. Others would do well to emulate the quality of those efforts. Kudos to Ronnie and Chris. You have been invaluable in helping us during this rental effort.
