They’ve always gone above and beyond with fixing or repairing anything. Even though hardly anything ever breaks. The neighborhood is amazing and everyone is super friendly. Experiencia fantástica: I know these guys have a few bad reviews, but trust me, you can do so much worse. For example, I rented from a private owner while attending Tech University. The owner decided to hire a scam company called Meridian. They did practically nothing and the owner was paying them to manage. Meridian started filing evictions left and right once they took over. I met some of my neighbors and they showed me concrete proof that Meridian was lying. The apartments I was living at, turned into a weekly motel. I've never seen anything like it. And then, sure enough, they came for me. I thought I was safe because I never signed a single piece of paper with them. They ran an elaborate scheme and summoned me to court as a "month-to-month tenant" with no lease. I had been living there years before the owner hired Meridian. It was my fist time in civil court and I couldn't believe the corruption I witnessed. The judge ruled in their favor on every case that day. Meridian didn't bring a single thing, no papers, photos, or evidence,. The other tenants/defendants had pictures, paperwork, and piles of evidence proving Meridian was lying. I was watching the whole time and the judge looked at none of it. So, I knew I had no chance. I literally did nothing wrong and I have never been in debt. It was over a small amount of money, but their scam ruined my credit and tenant record for many years to come. Meridian Property Management scams owners and renters on a whole other level. So, trust me, you can do much, much worse.

WHAT YOU ALL CAME FOR: I bought a house back in Nov 2018 in Lubbock from Betenbough Homes. Shortly after I was released from my job and my girl left, so like every rationale human being would do; I joined the military. I walked in J’s office in July of 2019 and told him I didn’t want to deal with a single aspect of the house, the rent, the tenant, nothing; I was leaving and had no reason to look back. From Fall 2019 all the way to the day of my comment (Sept 2024), I haven’t had to spend more than a few fleeting seconds of time wondering if things were going to be taken care of. There was always a tenant in the home, the tenant and their requests were always managed and provided for, and I could set my watch to the money being deposited into my account. I cannot emphasize how stress-free J and his team, shout out Terri, have made this journey in real estate for me. I was able to focus on my career in the military with no doubts that things would be okay in Texas because of them. Thank you J (and Terri) for the hard work that you’ve put in. And to whoever is reading this, I’d say good luck but you won’t need it with these guys.

Experiencia negativa: If able to leave a 0 star review I would. They took a majority of our deposit after saying random things were broken, but never sent proof of anything claiming to be broken. They ask to have a cleaning company clean our carpet and proceeded to take out $100 due to “not having the receipt”, but once we sent a screen shot of the receipt they stated they suddenly found the receipt. We explained that we cleaned the carpet with a company, but they said the cleanings are usually $100+ with companies they suggested after never saying we needed to go with certain companies. Overall they took forever for maintenance requests as well. I hope to never rent with this company or any related ones.

Please send me a link so I can complete the application process and not have to start over again.

We moved into a house that wasn’t deep cleaned and already had damaged and they took all that out of our deposit. Very unprofessional place but I should’ve known from the start. I have been asking to fix the broken window for more than two months, they send me three guys in three different appointments all of them admitted that the windows need to be replaced, but they did not fix it till now. The house doesn’t keep the temperature so the AC is working 24/7 . And when I call them, they keep telling replacing windows is not that easy. If replacing their broken windows is not easy, is paying double what I should pay for the electricity because of you easy!! I asked the woman in the office to tell the owner to fix the windows and doors she replied: you call him!! It is unbelievable how awful dealing with this management!! I have just moved to Lubbock and Using real property is the worst decision. Even 1 star is too much for them

Experiencia negativa: As of today I am 6 days late on rent. I work many many hours in the day and night and do not have time to go to the bank in the mornings. Additionally, my bank has been closed the last 3 days rendering me unable to deposit money due to the holiday. Today they notified me I must pay immediately or I am required to vacate within 3 days. I understand I am late, but the way they approached me was highly aggressive and not required. This is also the first time they have attempted to contact me about the late rent as well. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming as a company to a tenant who has paid their rent for nearly 2 years without issues. God forbid someone has a busy week and can’t pay the rent right away. Will not be renewing my lease with them if they are going to be this aggressive every time.
