Experiencia fantástica: I just sent over my deposit as a new tenant here so I can't speak to the long-term but if my time here is as pleasant as the application process then I think I'm in for a treat. The application process has been incredibly easy and smooth, largely thanks to both Leah who helped me out when the lockbox was having technical issues and Darwin who put together my lease. Leah was very pleasant to work with and she was very apologetic about the technical issues. She immediately reached out to IT and a local technician. The technician wasn't close to the property at the time, but she was able to get it working with IT and stayed on the phone with me and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Despite the technical issues it was a very pleasant interaction. Darwin was also a joy to work with. He assured me that if I had any questions I could reach out, and the approval process itself was extremely smooth and easy. No going and getting a check, the entire process was digital. There were also a couple details in the lease that had changed, and he made the proper adjustments with quick response times and clear communication on all the details. Both Leah and Darwin responded quickly and resolved any issues with haste. They both impacted my decision to move into one of their properties and I can't wait to move into my new townhome apartment! Edit 2/20/26 Jon came by and inspected the place again. Great guy! He helped swap out a couple faulty smoke detectors and did a great job explaining everything.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently applied for a home through Real Property Management Wake County (RPM) and had a great experience. We did a self-guided tour, which was perfect for us. We could take our time walking through the home without feeling rushed or pressured, and then submitted an application through Findigs. I was a little skeptical at first and found the process a bit intimidating, but once everything was submitted, it was smooth sailing. We received email confirmations right away, and by the next business day we were connected with Darwin, who was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive, helpful, and kept close communication with us throughout the entire review process that made the experience feel reassuring and easy. I really appreciate the organization and professionalism that comes with RPM. The process was efficient, transparent, and stress-free, and everything felt seamless from start to finish.

Experiencia negativa: Tried to rent a really cool place in Durham, unfortunately RPM requested a deposit before signing a final lease (only provided a sample lease to look at). There was also nothing in place to secure our deposit, other than just drop it off at the office or use a 3rd party option "obligo" that isnt transparent about fees. Im sure all of this is legal but im not handing that much money over without some sort of legal agreement. We decided to go elsewhere and lose the application fees.

They offer properties that are ALL breed friendly. The application had a turn around time of less than 24 hours. Darwin was efficient and answered any questions we had. If you are looking for a new home, I would highly recommend looking at Real Property management!

He was great—went above and beyond to help us as we prepare to move to a different property. He provided a list of tasks for us to do prior to moving out (to save us some cash!), such as changing our light bulbs/air filter, and even explained how to get a paint color-match to touch up any areas on our walls. He was knowledgeable with complex city codes, but able to explain them simply. He provided helpful education throughout his inspection. He was friendly and you can tell he’s a people person who uses his job as an opportunity to help others. Thanks for everything, John!

He was great from the beginning to the end of the inspection. Very knowledgeable about what he does and super thorough and helpful. He answered all of my questions and gave detailed explanations for my concerns. 10/10 This review was for the application process as a new tenant. Love how easy it was to view the property. Moving from CA to NC, we’re a little nervous renting out a place not sure how easy the process would be. During the application process, I had a pleasure working with Darwin and he has made this process as easy and smooth as possible, and got approved within 2 days of applying. He was very professional and understanding, answered all of my questions and concerns.

What I like the most about Is the quick response of any questions I had and willingness to walk side by side throughout the application part. One thing I disagreed with is the property is advertised at a monthly price then you have an additional fee which increases the monthly payment; other than the process is way better than other companies.

Experiencia negativa: Review of application process: For the most part, the process was simply okay. We did receive timely responses from Darwin in the process but the application process with Findigs was super weird. I have never been asked for as much information to rent anywhere (and I’ve only ever rented) as I have with this process. They straight up asked for supervisor’s emails at work which I feel is not necessary and only clarified what they were needed for (to verify income if they need to) and that you could put HR rep instead if necessary, after asking them directly . I guess that felt a little uncomfortable to me. Not to mention, when Findigs finally got to reviewing our information — they asked us a lot of questions that we had already answered in the application. Using Obligo to avoid a huge deposit was nice but I didn’t feel all the payments before even receiving the lease to review were justified and paying it was said to be a contractual obligation with no refund. We had to pay everything before even receiving the lease which made us feel a little uncomfortable. I prefer something like Rhino, which I’ve used in the past so that it’s not a full year cost all at once and works much like deposit insurance. We were also told we can’t move in on a weekend even though they’re stating all they need to provide is a lockbox code to pick up the keys at the property. We have to prove we are turning on utilities in our name before getting keys, which is fine, but for some, we have to actively be there for that to happen and they don’t allow you to start the lease on a weekend. It just creates a headache in that way that we are rushing to get to the property before the utility people do. I’m not sure why utility management would even have to come out considering it should be more of a name switch, not turning something on/off. Overall the process took about 5 days from application to lease signed to utilities set up. So it was quick and seamless otherwise. I just would suggest some more clear cut communication in the sense that all information should be given to someone rather than them continually having to ask questions. We were also asked SEVERAL times to leave this review before the process was even complete, which was a little weird. I did not feel comfortable leaving this before even moving into the house but I decided to go ahead and put down our thoughts and then come back to edit when we move-in in three weeks. Edit 10/30/25: We started having issues with getting maintenance requests handled. We also ended our lease earlier due to buying a house and paid the buyout fee. We are now being charged extensively for “drywall damage” from normal wear and tear holes from curtain rods (they gave us no blinds!!!) and shelves, though we were explicitly told in move out instructions to not try to repair items like that ourselves. We are also being charged for things we reported to maintenance and they didn’t fix. At this point, we feel we were set up for failure when it came to move out. When we tried to dispute these charges, we were simply ignored and waived off and kept repeating a section of the lease we couldn’t even see anymore because they kicked us off our portal and my computer didn’t save the lease correctly since you can’t just download it as a PDF. I have NEVER been charged for things like that and find this absolutely predatory and appalling behavior.
