Experiencia fantástica: I can not even put into words how wonderful a process it was to work with Ellie and Burk Brokerage when selling our house. Ellie helped sell our house in a difficult market. She was able to suggest several suggestions when a buyer made an offer on the house. If it wasn’t for her persistence and hard work in bringing the house to closing for us, we might have never gotten through such a difficult negotiation. Ellie went above what any realtor would do to help get our house sold. We received an offer but the buyers lender required certain repairs be done before the final approval. Ellie/Burke Brokerage got the necessary repairs completed professionally and swiftly and we were able to close on time! Very grateful we lucked out with Ellie and her team and would highly recommend them when selling or buying(or renting) a home!

Experiencia positiva: Debbie was great! Very knowledgeable and worked great with us. However, the whole process became a nightmare following the inspection. It was a total racket. An initial reasonable negotiation to get an agreed to price and signed contract turned very sour. It was as if the plan was to negotiate close to asking price and then get a huge reduction in price after the inspection when the seller has very little recourse. It was as if the inspector and realtor had an arrangement....you pay me $800-$900 for the inspection and I'll save you $20-30K. The buyer demanded $30K reduction in price or they would walk. There were no pressing issues only nit-picking things that were said to be at the end of the normal lifespan and should be replaced. So basically improvements rather than fixes. What is the seller to do at this point in the process? Start all over with a pending sale falling through? It's a death sentence for the seller. We offered to go 50/50 but they demanded the $30K. Worse was the realtor was also a contractor who would benefit from any plans to make improvements. I have lost all respect for the real estate industry over this. If this is the new way to handle home sales....seller beware! I'm thoroughly disgusted despite our real estate agent being great
