We were purchasing our second home and selling our first home…that is nerve racking in itself! Well my husband is a 10-99 employee which makes the loan situation a little different!! Nicole sent us to an amazing lending team who killed the transaction! She recommended a wonderful attorney who was knowledgeable and very nice! She sat down with us and reviewed the ends and outs of both sides of the transaction and even gave us realistic expectations. She was always very prompt and never left us hanging with questions. Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough great things about Nicole and being her client. I have now bought two homes from her. Family and friends have also worked with her and love her. I have never known a real estate agent to work as hard as her but also make sure you are getting what you are paying for and not being ripped off. On our last home we purchased, we had to close early due to the seller (the seller put in an offer on another home as soon as they took our offer and were moving out of state). Nicole worked her butt off to make sure we got all the estimates and our requests for repairs in a timely manner. As her client she will fight for you and make sure that you are paying a fair price on a home and to have big ticket items taken care of. You as a buyer do not want to be stuck paying top dollar for a home with old roof or HVAC and Columbia's market has gotten pretty pricey over the years. Nicole has been in the industry for years and is from Columbia. She has incredible knowledge for Columbia and it's real estate. She is extremely professional as well. I know on the last house we bought through her, she actually saved money on the settlement statement for the seller who's realtor didn't catch. She makes sures she reads everything and is an excellent litigator for not only the house but with the loan officer as well. She made it as stress free as possible (because let's be honest, the whole process is so stressful). Whether you are investing, commercial, buying or selling you can't go wrong being a client of Nicole's. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Experiencia negativa: As a seller we are cautioning ALL buyers & sellers before utilizing this agency. The realtor that represented buyers for our home waited until a week before closing /the end of due diligence to say “we want over $20k in repairs”. Although our realtor checked in multiple times throughout this period with their realtor Nicole Johnson, she NEVER MENTIONED anything. This tactic Nicole used is a disgrace to any seller or buyer. Communication is key to buying and selling and Nicole lacked this highly. As a veteran family we will never recommend anyone to this business based on our own personal experience that Nicole took advantage of.

I moved out of state and needed to sell my house as soon as possible. I could tell right away that my urgency to sell the house became Karen's urgency which was very appreciative. Every 3-4 wks we had follow up calls to share status. The market was slower and we had to work against the newly built homes. Despite of all the obstacles we had to deal with, Karen was always very positive. Karen was very proactive and always ahead of me. She always shared her new ideas including strategies. My house was vacant during winter and Karen always had someone to check our house after storm or cold weather to confirm everything was good. I wish I could have Karen every time I sell/buy a house. Experiencia negativa: We rented a property through Yip in November 2023 thru November 2024. My issue is not from the beginning of rental but the ending. We payed up until the end of lease, cleaned, turned in the keys. In the written agreement it states not to contact Yip via email, phone call during the month because it may delay the process. We received an email on December 27th to say a walk through was complete and charges have been applied. We would receive a check in the mail with the exceeding balance we will receive back. Monday January 6th roles around and still no check, I go to the office and speak with Liz. “Oh the holidays have maybe something to do with it, we are good for it, if it doesn’t come next week let me know. Today Friday the 10th still no check, I went back, I want my money that is owed back to us. Told I will have to cancel the last check and reissue a new one can you come back this afternoon. I said I’m going to a store and will be back. In the process she calls my husband because he was on the main lease to see if I was his wife and say I was demanding a check. Yes I was demanding our money back that was owed. Very unprofessional at the end, anyone else in my situation and I’m sure within Yip would feel the same. The company is not used to people coming to the office and to just remain behind the scenes. Liz had expected an email, No you owe me my money back I will come to your office!

Experiencia negativa: My fiance has recently had a terrible experience with YIP Premier Property Management. He was blindsided by an unexpected charge for a banister/handrail replacement. He was told he was going to receive an assessment AND A QUOTE (he has this in writing) prior to Yip Premier Property Management moving forward with replacing the handrail. A formal assessment was NEVER completed, a quote prior to receiving the replacement was NEVER received. My mother, aunt, cousin, AND we have two close friends who are property managers themselves and all have concluded the company wants to get over! The entire process felt incredibly unethical and unprofessional (I have a list of reasons and receipts for why). They didn’t follow the proper procedures (they set for themselves) to notifying him in advance that he will be charged. They also haven't provided any justification for the charge besides "that's what the contractors said". I watched my fiance with my own eyes walk down the steps, we were talking, he stumbled forward, grabbed the handrail FOR WHAT IT IS USED FOR, and it popped. We would not be so passionate and frustrated about the matter if we felt that there was "improper use of the handrail" which the company has claimed. Mungo Homes are very CHEAP and built very fast. My Fiance is only 165 pounds. Let's be for real! ALL OF THE CABINETS AND DOOR NOBS were loose upon move in and he put in a maintenance request. If the cabinets and doorknobs were poorly installed, it's safe to say the handrail was poorly installed as well. He was never given the chance to address or approve the issue before it was billed to him, which is completely unprofessional. It feels like they took advantage of the situation without transparency or clear communication. I would not recommend working with them when It comes to renting a home if you value honesty and fairness in property management.

On 8/27 I contacted them in regards to a rental property that had just come to their website, and requested to apply and see the property in person. After speaking with a representative on multiple occasions, they told me I could not see or apply to the property before 9/3/24. On the morning of 9/23 I spoke with the company again, and they stated that they had already approved a lease with a customer on said property and would not allow a back up application. The staff was unable to answer as to why this happened, and offered no remedy to the situation.

Experiencia negativa: We purchased a home and it was the worst experience! I am sure they will say I’m mistaken and they never sold us a home well I have the proof! They lied about so many things not to mention they were the sellers agent as well as their property manager while listing the home. I can’t fully blame the owners because they probably wasn’t honest with them either. They live in the same community the home is in and was well aware of the concerns we addressed from the inspector. We had to call their contractors that they hired to complete work from inspection because the pipe in the crawl space was still messed up, the electrical outlet we had to get repaired a second time. They left trash in the home there was letters her and her husband had written and signed we later found in a binder. It was just the worst experience
