Experiencia negativa: THIS COMPAMY IS SCAMMING YOU!!! I have been looking for a place to rent and I saw a social media post for a house in Glendale on Instagram. I was able to find the full listing on the website but when I was looking through the photos I noticed that the photos that were shown in the zillow listing and on Instagram were completely different. This company is CLEARLY using AI. The house backyard looks COMPLETELY different than what was advertised. This is false advertising. Do not trust this company, their advertising is literally fake.

Jennie recently handled a difficult move out for us and the repairs and signing new renters was seamless. I would not hesitate considering using Market Edge Realty.

I’m from NY and I found the texts curt and not not leading towards helping the house get rented. I have a rental in another state and actually thought to myself I would hate it if someone managing my house was like this. Also pressure to rent sight unseen months before it’s available. I would need a prior renter to tell me it went well before committing to a lease through this company.

Experiencia negativa: Run far away from this property manager. After my landlord fired Jennie Miller, she decided to ILLEGALLY turn off utilities on former tenant properties. I was willing to overlook the shoddy repairs to the floors and even the lack of window screens on all the windows but turning off tenant utilities is illegal. I will be filing formal complaints and I encourage former tenants and landlords to do the same.

We were not notified in advance that her representative would be arriving this morning. Of course when called me, we immediately opened the gate. Jenny was rude and threatened to both me and Michelle. I told Jenny in a text to remove her threat of eviction today at 1000am or I will be contacting my military lawyers for appropriate legal advice. I want to stay here on a month to month basis paying rent on third of month, which is when my social security disability is delivered and I don't want want late fees for paying on the 3rd

Experiencia negativa: Any issue you have will never be resolved it’s a virtual management company that has virtually no way to enforce anything. Maybe you think that’s good in some regards. I can assure it’s not. The neighbors all smoke on the non smoking property. They do car repairs and take the handicapped parking spot. No one will ever come by or ever check on things, they just send rude texts to all residents. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Experiencia negativa: 7 months to get a response: Yes, i met that criteria and only after I applied you THEN decided to inform me that the property I just applied for wouldn't pass inspection even though it says it accepted housing on every single site you had it listed! YOU ARE A FRAUD!!! Yes, you apparently can take peoples money to “apply” and never call them, update them, or even communicate with them even when YOUR OWN DAMN AD IS FALSE! Nothing but a thief! According to you reviews, I am not the only one. Lets see if it will take you another 7 months to auto generate a response to counter your thievery. If you apply for a property, you must realize all they are doing it taking $65 out of your pocket. They will not call you, you can call them for updates whoever is needed to discuss your application is out of office, they will not return your calls. Reporting to BBB (look into their ratings) as well as marking the transaction as fraudulent. Paid $65 then to be told the home that STATES on every single site that it accepts vouchers, will not pass inspection. So i go through the listings on their direct site then everything that “immediately available” is not 6 to 12 month wait list. So Jennie stole $68 as they didn’t even access my credit report or complete processing of my application. So every unit takes housing except the ones you want, then the ones you find on their own site with “immediate availability” is on a 6 to 12 month wait list. A complete SCAM.

Experiencia negativa: We were interested in a property that had been on the market for over 180 days according to Zillow. We were over a month out from moving and was initially told had to be less than 30 days out. We waited and applied at 30 days. Then was told we had to move in a week. Conversations that would be a few minutes on the phone took most of the day due to her lapses in responses. They would only communicate via text which showed that there was a lack of attention payed to the application or our conversation as asked repeated questions that were already answered and pushed items that were addressed.

Found a really nice home exactly what we were looking for! We have loved the location, the home, our neighbors. Always super quick response and friendly as well.

Experiencia negativa: 0 stars . . I am completely dissatisfied with Jennie first off and market edge . I was a tenant for 1 year , And here is my experience . At move in my home wa trashed. Trash was left in the home and the dumpsters where full . On top of that the damages to the house where excessive . Damage to paint on the walls, none of the fans world properly . . One actually ending up falling out of the ceiling , Water damage in the ceiling from upstairs bathroom leak , old refrigerator that didnt work . 2 microwaves one that didnt work and one on the counter that did and so much more . Anyways after signing the lease found that we couldn't have a pool in the back yard or a trampoline or a fireplace , arnt supposed to have our blinds open . Again way more to add but you get the point. Now at move out im getting a letter stating I owe 3000+ dollars to them for damages . No no no I have plenty of pictures to show otherwise . I am now having to fight for my money back for deposit the 3000+ is 3000 over what my deposit was .

Experiencia fantástica: It's been around 8 years since Market Edge started managing my duplex in Phoenix, and they've been doing a great job. A few years ago, the city mistakenly told me that the duplex had a landscaping violation and Market Edge sent me photos of their inspection. I sent it to the city and that resolved the issue. I really appreciate that Market Edge knows what they are doing because I don’t worry much about the property they are managing. I've worked with 7 property management companies for around 15 years and Market Edge is the best so far.

Experiencia negativa: They recently took over managing the property I'm renting and my ac went out I contacted Jennie she said let me check into this I’ll get back to you. Fast forward 8 hours later still nothing I text her again and nothing. So I call my landlord and he tells me he was informed that it was just leaking and was still working ! When I specifically said it was not working. Jennie , lying to my landlord is crazy work.

Experiencia negativa: By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a property management company, and we haven’t even fully moved in yet! There’s no way to speak with anyone on the phone, and even if you call the listed number, it goes straight to voicemail where it’s made clear they only communicate through text messages. This alone seems discriminatory, particularly with regards to individuals who are visually impaired and cannot complete complex dealings through text. They outsource various aspects of the rental agreement process (which you have to pay for, such as PetScreening) and completely ignore any documentation you send directly to them. No one met with me to deliver the keys to our home; instead, the key was left on an outside power outlet right by the front door, completely unsecured. The house itself was an absolute mess, and I had to personally deal with the cleaning company they contracted with who then tried to charge me for them to come back and do a job they clearly didn’t do the first time. Quite literally the only positive interaction I’ve had with these people or the people they employ is with the handyman Sevan, who was a total professional and honestly deserves better employment. Renter beware, and if you’re looking for a company to manage a property you own, as a homeowner myself, I’d look far and wide before considering this unprofessional company.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, my recent experience with Jennie Miller and Market Edge Realty was deeply disappointing. My wife and I were genuinely interested in one of the rental properties managed by this company. We had some straightforward concerns about the home — non-functioning light fixtures, uncertainty about whether the A/C unit worked (which we couldn’t test because the thermostat was inoperable), and the fact that the system used outdated R-22 refrigerant. Instead of addressing these concerns directly or professionally, Jennie became dismissive and condescending over the phone. From the beginning of the call, she mentioned how their office had received over 400 texts that day — seemingly as a way to excuse curt communication. Rather than hearing me out, she cut me off multiple times, minimized my concerns, and gave vague, deflective answers. She even made it seem like high electricity bills due to an old A/C unit were “normal,” rather than considering the valid point I was making about inefficiency and cost. The tone of the entire interaction was cold, rushed, and unprofessional. We were ready to move forward with this rental, but her attitude and lack of helpfulness were ultimately the reason we walked away. If you’re looking for a property manager who listens, communicates clearly, and treats potential tenants with basic respect, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The rental property we were interested in has been on the market for 3 months and after dealing with Jennie I can see why. Her lack of knowledge in combination with her rudeness is impossible to deal with. We were genuinely interested in a property and would be able to move in quickly. However, Jennie has single handedly lost Market Edge Realty and the owner of the property business. If Jennie is going to be the point of contact for the company I would suggest she takes some basic communication courses.

Then after trying to explain the issues and telling her that I thought it was rude and unprofessional that she’s telling me I’m not in compliance with the lease. This is the response I get…..Oh stop with the back and forth. I had a report that the filter was dropped off and I just wanted to be sure that it was installed. If you didn't get one, that is fine. Experiencia negativa: Filling out an application was very easy and straightforward. They contacted us the next day and now just waiting to see for approved. UPDATE! After all the fees of filling out for the application we did not hear back from them after they asked if we could give him more money for holding the house even though we weren't accepted yet. Seemed pretty sketchy we did not move forward with them due to the extreme amount of money they were asking for. It would have been nice to have gone in person in an actual office. this isn't 2020 anymore.

Experiencia negativa: Very rude, wouldn’t answer my questions, made it clear that they only cared about money and not the client. Changed my security deposit to almost 6k when my pets were added and rent up 300 when I already informed her of my pets in my application. Lost almost 200 dollars with the application fee and fees to add my animals just to be able to apply, only to end up with completely unreasonable deposits on a tiny house. After not answering my questions, she said she wouldn’t give me any time to think over the situation. Not a good company, at least Jennie Miller is not a professional person, or caring of her clients. Would not recommend this rental agency.

The only thing I didnt like during my lease was my backyard being changed from private to public in the middle of a lease, taking out small fences that seperated other units, without a decrease in our rent. Other than that everything is great.

Then told at the last minute that the house was being taken off the market. Now we have to find a new home and be out of the current place at the end of the month. I am confused due to the lack of empathy and communication.

And they are top-notch. I see the bad reviews in here. Don't go by the bad reviews. One thing I realized when it comes to bad reviews people are upset disgruntled at that time before even talking to the person about the problem. Jennie Miller and the other associates that work with her I have interacted with most of them every one of them very kind very helpful very considerate they worked with me I had a problem boom it was taking care of I had another problem that was taken care of they worked with me on everything. Experiencia negativa: It was bad the first person his name is Michael. He hang up on me and I come back a woman answer the phone and she also hang up on me. I was trying to explain her that I had two last names and she came up on me, I tried to call again this time. Michael answered the phone and I asked him. Why did you hang up on me and he tried to twist my words saying why I didn’t receive an application or something later he was changing my words basically he was twisting my words that really pissed me off. Is that the way they took things around here that’s what I ask. To the office people they are not professional.

Experiencia negativa: Front door bottom lock (handle) is broken. Downstairs bathroom had a dead roach. Kitchen appliances were old (kitchen sink missing spray hose, fridge was dirty and had broken pieces). Backdoor was unsecured at bottom allowing potential for flood and pests to enter. Upstairs bathroom cabinet was completely off. Master bedroom had a huge dead roach. Laundry, again old appliance. It's unfortunate that a unit with so much potential was not taken care of. The pictures online are NOT THE SAME UNIT AS THEY ADVERTISED. I understand charging a fee for self guided tours but why did yall leave that house like that

The property I was looking at has been on the market for quite some time 54 days to be exact, and they have lowered the rent 3 TIMES in the spam of when I first saw the property. Jennie is very rude and condescending. It's horrible what these company's are doing taking peoples application fees but won't rent to anyone yet lower the price. It doesn't make any sense

Experiencia negativa: This company has an absurdly high application fee, and will immediately encourage you to apply. They have lots of very expensive fees that don't seem necessary. I inquired about a property that had a $40 MONTHLY "utility processing fee" which only served the purpose of them not turning off the utilities that the tenant would be paying for anyway. $200 "administration fee" if you chose to lease a property from them, who knows what that is for. They don't offer in person tours of any property, but they will charge you to go on a SELF GUIDED tour. This company is happy to nickle and dime their customers at every corner. While inquiring from them, they will respond quickly but rarely with accurate or helpful information. Its often necessary to ask the same question multiple times to get a real answer. I'm glad that I did not decide to move forward with this company, as I felt disrespected by the staff and by their operating practices.

They run my credit and took nine points out of it. I was thinking that I was going to get the place later on they told me that I needed an extra proof of income when I sent them all of my documentation, they are lacking respect, humility, integrity, etc. I am the last person they’re going to scam like this because as I am writing this review Holy Ghost fire in the building. The house I inquired about is immaculate just flat out beautiful very spacious and 2 stories but the price is only 2500 which is kind of hard to believe my small 3 bedroom 1 story house cost that much and it’s half that size y’all better stay far away from this company it’s fishy very fishy

Experiencia negativa: I had a very bad experience with this agency. Namely from Jennie Miller and Lena Ramos. I completed an application for a specific property on the website, which they took my $65 app fee. But the next day sent me an email to say my application was incomplete. So I called them but was never able to speak with an agent. It was always the live answering service. She couldn’t help or answer questions, only taking messages. That went on the whole day so I had to look for a house elsewhere because it was the end of the month and I had to be out by the 1st. I wasn’t returned my application fee nor did I ever speak to anyone, only replies through texting. Actually I wouldn’t give this agency NO stars

Experiencia negativa: Horrible! I don’t think Jennie understands what questions are. She sure can see what people say since she fights everyone telling others how bad she and her company are. I had to ask over and over to get one question answered. I was never called as I requested either. Now I think that’s a good thing as this looks more scammy with every review I read. All property management companies suck but seeing that Jennie thinks the right thing to do is argue with the people she fails shows who she is and why you should not use this company. Maybe learn a lesson and do better Jennie. Stop arguing your failures and be better. Thank God for reviews and I hope all of these have saved some people from your tricks at nickel and dining them to death, frustration from having to try to communicate with you and what really does seem like some scamming going on. My advice, find any other company.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave less than a star I would. Completely disorganized company. The only thing they know how to do is collect rent- but when it comes to customer service, falling short doesn’t even describe how horrible this company is. Don’t bother putting in a maintenance request- no one will reply. Management is rude and lacks any sort of human connection. I’ve been in my home for 4 years, I love it but want to leave because of this company. That’s how bad they are.

Experiencia negativa: This company has been sending text and calling me since 8am this morning as i made the mistake of inquiring on a property. What kind of company contacts prospective renters at 8am??

Experiencia negativa: I currently rent a property from market edge . I love my new house and neighbors/ neighborhood. However I would like to say this about the staffa t times they are rude and always in such a hurry. The staff members definitely need more communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff. Case and point I knew about the utilities and they were to be put in my name, no problem, however the problem was there was never a mention of needing southwest gas for the hot water and heat. So unfortunately I faced timed my eldest son who then told me I needed to have the gas turned, however it would be several days without hot water and heat until their next available appointment. Had I known this would have been taken care of prior to my move in date. Another case Market edge has air filters delivered and installed by a company they contract. That's not a problem or an issue, the issue is that during new tenant orientation with staff I was told I was exempt from this service and it's my sole responsibility to provide and install the air filters. I also confirmed this again with Market edge who yet again stated it is my sole responsibility to take care of the air filters. As I did and purchased enough for the remainder of my lease. Now I'm being told something totally different. When addressed there is no explanation of apology from them. I'm still responsible for using their air filter company. I caint return the air filters. So as a solution Market edge should state to me, in respect of lack of communication totally on their part, I should not worry about the air filters being delivered for the rest of my lease end. And if the lease should renew then moving forward I will then use their contracted air filter company.To me that's just good business practices and it helps keep good and lasting tenants.

Experiencia negativa: I did not feel like the lady was helpful. The questions I asked were simple but she replied with I’m just receptionist and no one called me back about the apartment.

Experiencia negativa: This is a fraud. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because they charged me to see a property that they removed from the market the day of my planned viewing, despite the fact that I paid for 10 days to view it. I've never encountered anything like this before. I promised Jennie I would search elsewhere. I could only image getting a rental via them she even sent me a text of the deposit as if she couldn't contact me it was all too much she even offered I could see another home I rejected
