Experiencia negativa: I was a tenant at a property Kelly Cook was hired by landlords to sell in early 2025. They lived in Canada and found him online. It was a pretty disappointing experience for all of us. He showed up more than an hour late for the initial scheduled appointment window without any notice. I told him he has missed the entire window I had blocked from my work and had to rearrange meetings. He clearly did not like that and made his way in anyway. After that initial viewing he told our landlords there were a lot of fixes that needed to be done and that the condo was in ‘rough’ shape. He also spoke poorly of us to the landlord which left a bad taste for them since we had a great long term relationship. With that and repeated issues with communication, our landlord immediately flew in from Canada to see for themselves to find the condo in perfectly good shape. They found him to be very ‘negative’ and asked us if we had also had a bad experience with the realtor to which I agreed. Soon after the landlord fired Kelly Cook and hired a different realtor who had over 20 showings while we continued to live there. The condo sold without any work needing to be done shortly thereafter. Sharing this constructive feedback for the Kelly group to consider in future interactions with tenants and landlords.

Experiencia fantástica: I could write a book about our absolutely wonderful experience with Cook & Associates, primarily because of Tara Rice, our realtor. Tara worked with us to sell our home of 23 years in the Ahwatukee Foothills and then again to buy our forever home in Sun Lakes. I met Tara at an open house over a year and a half ago. She was so easy to talk to, and I shared our email with her. Over the next 9 months, she kept in touch. God's timing is always perfect, and right before the holidays this past December, we decided to put our home on the market. Tara gave us great advice on her recommended updates to the house as well as began a search for our forever home, first in the 55+ community in Ahwatukee. We accidentally stumbled upon the Sun Lakes community and fell in love with it. Tara immediately switched gears, and we began viewing homes there. She made the home buying process FUN and never got frustrated with us when we turned down a home. She helped us to finally understand that the price, although important, didn't compare to our ultimate desire to find a turn-key home. That same day, a home came on the market that Tara encouraged us to look at right away. I did, and gasped when she showed me that through the kitchen window, you could see one of the two Lakes visible from our yard! It was something that my husband and I prayed for years ago! Experiencia negativa: After being told twice not to call, they continue to call. I never contacted them regarding their services, the number pops up on ID as "Scam Likely", probably because they cold call off the list they buy from Zillow or they have some MLS alert set up. Reported to the FCC for violating the Do Not Call registry... Edit to respond - Yes, you do call people on the do not call list. And yes, it's a violation of FCC Rules. And yes, it's super common for Real Estate Agents to "forget" to check their purchased lists against the Do Not Call lists before loading them into the CRM and auto-dialer. You, like a bunch of other real estate offices, don't want to lose a potential lead (that you paid for) because of something like pesky regulations. You can deny it, but fortunately, I do business in the Real Estate game. I know how CRMs are set up. I know how much it sucks to have to scrub the list before loading them into the dialer. And I know how much companies like yours say "Screw it, we'll just remove them AFTER they tell us that they're on the Do Not Call list." I would be happy to come in and consult if you guys aren't familiar with the regulations in the industry. I'm not cheap, but I'm significantly cheaper than the potential fine you get from the FCC. It's funny, you're upset because I posted an honest review of an actual interaction with your company. Never mind that the consumer has to deal with hundreds of calls a week from a bunch of real estate agents doing the same thing you're doing. Never mind that I'm flooded with calls during work, during events for my kids, during dinner. Never mind that. The consumer just needs to understand that their annoyance doesn't matter, because you're trying to make money... And trying to guilt someone into not leaving a review because of "your livelihood", how about you just do better? Then you don't have to worry about stuff like bad reviews? Seems easy enough.
