Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: Today is October 27th 2025 and the issue still hasn't been fixed. Maintenance keeps saying they are going to come and never come. The absolute worst experience I've had trying to get something repaired in a property. Current tenant with this company, they are quick to take your money and slow to repair things. Have had a repair order in with them for 6 months to repair parts of the home that are leaking and used daily. Keep getting told that they are waiting on the owner but I did not sign a lease with the owner, I signed the lease with KEATY. And we, the tenants, are the ones suffering because KEATY can't come to terms with the owner. This is ridiculous. So I am stuck in the middle without working items in my home and paying more in monthly water bills due to leaks in the home. To add insult to injury, they don't even bother following up or giving updates. Every time I call I hear "I'll follow up and let you know" and then I never hear from them again until I call the next time. Theres no accountability, no follow up, no consideration. This is by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. Yet I pay my rent on time without fail every month. I would not recommend renting from this company. Stay clear!

I suggest always using a realtor as there are so many things that can go wrong for the buyer AND SELLER. She was proactive and saw potential issues ahead of time, her vetted subcontractors were excellent and easy to schedule, she was patient, with our questions and our decisions(we went through many neighborhoods). While I call Michele a friend, I can also say, she is a GO GETTER and will work to show you what you are dreaming of. You will most definitely benefit from her many years as a restaurateur and astute businesswoman....dare I say, SAVVY?

Experiencia negativa: Has some quite rude people working here so you better hope you get lucky. Our "agent" never wanted to help get in contact with our landlord, had no empathy for their tenants, and overcharged so that we would not receive our safety deposit. $700 to patch nail holes in the duplex we lived in. Not to mention the complications we had with our landlord himself, destroying yard decorations when he would come to mow the lawn. I couldn't recommend more that that you look for a better option first.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with Keaty Real Estate. I have been a tenant with them for quite a while, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and stressful. From the very beginning, it was clear that this company does not care about their tenants. My requests for essential repairs were either ignored or met with significant delays. It took multiple follow-ups and sometimes weeks before anything was addressed, leaving me to deal with uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe living conditions. The property management team is unresponsive and indifferent. When I finally do get in touch with someone, I’m met with empty promises and a lack of accountability. It’s apparent that the company is more interested in collecting rent than in providing a decent living environment for their tenants. To make matters worse, communication is poor at best. Important notices are often sent at the last minute, and trying to get any clear answers or support feels like pulling teeth. They clearly have no regard for the well-being or peace of mind of their tenants. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before renting with Keaty Real Estate. It has been a deeply frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t wish this level of neglect on anyone.

Experiencia negativa: We had a bad experience since the day we moved they stressed me out with the wrong information several times making me calk a lot of people back and forth to activate services that I was not the one responsible for and they were almost not going to give me my keys the day we were already traveling to a new city ready to move with all our personal belongings. Then later on when we asked for repairs the person that they sent did not do their work correctly and they wanted to charge us for that on the deposit. We already moved out and getting about 50% of deposit only, because they say they have to paint the place which I never did anything bad to the walls, I have no kids or pets so everything was good. The way how they handle their communication with customers sometimes is very rude. Would never in my life use again Keaty Real State in Lafayette for any business.

This month makes a year that we bought our first home with Thad, and I can say that we did not have the best experience. As first time home buyers, we were scared, and somewhat clueless about the home buying process. Although Thad is a nice guy, we feel like we were rushed to make a decision and felt like we annoyed him most of the time. It felt like we were just a waste of time. It almost seemed like he knew he wouldn’t make much money from selling this house to us so maybe that’s why he wasn’t very attentive? I also say this because I know that most realtors send a gift or follow up with homebuyers frequently but we have yet to hear from him at all. I have not had him even check on us to see if we like the house. The only type of communication I got from him after buying this house was an email to leave a review. Thats it. No gift or card. As a first time home buyer, I feel like he should have reached out to us at some point after we bought our FIRST home. I thought that’s what most realtors do? Our friends used Thad as their realtor which is part of the reason why we used him. They told us that he was great and they had a great experience. Once they bought a house, Thad gifted them and still follows up with them. He did not do any of this with us. This is why I feel like he just brushed us off and may not have cared for us. I just feel like this was not the best experience for us first time buyers.

This was our first time buying a home and Tyler made the entire process seamless. If you're looking for a real estate agent who is well versed in all aspects of buying a home, he's your guy. He helped us inspect the home (he's got a great attention to detail), put together a reasonable offer (he pulled comps within hours of us expressing interest), and negotiate post-inspection repairs to the home during the deal. He was also incredibly thorough while informing us on what steps we needed to take to navigate the closing process. He even gave us his personal number and made himself available anytime we had questions (and trust me - we had a lot of questions). To say he's good at what he does would be an understatement; I'd reccomend him to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Jim Keaty and Neil Curtis helped me sell my home in River Ranch a few weeks ago. Their knowledge of the market, professionalism, and excellent communication made the whole experience positive beyond all reasonable expectations. I have bought and sold properties before, but have never seen a realtor work harder than Neil to make sure all my concerns were addressed. The house went under contract very quickly, and because I live in New Orleans, I could not get to Lafayette in time to remove some remaining items in the attic. Neil did all of that for me, and he also hauled all the pots on the patio to a different location. He was available to talk at any time, whether in the evenings or on weekends. It is a seller’s market right now, so I had already received multiple cash offers before I even listed the house. My concern was whether using a realtor would cost me more than it benefitted me. Jim prepared a video in which he presented a detailed market analysis and this convinced me to sign up. All I can say now is that it was the right decision BY FAR to trust my property transaction to Keaty Real Estate. One final note: I want to give a special mention to Amy Green, who managed the rental of my home in the year prior to the sale. Since my wife & I had been discussing for a while prior, we had absolutely no clue how to even start the home buying process. The woman I talked to transferred me to Ali Tabor directly, and she answered every question I had as a new home buyer and even set up an appointment to discuss the process in more details in person.
