Experiencia negativa: We just moved in haven’t been there a full month yet and already having issues with maintenance coming out. They created a maintenance request before we moved in that there were several doors that needed to be fixed needless to say they were not. When we did our walk through and move in inspection we also informed them that the doors still needed to be fixed. They sent Rafael out but he never showed up and no one ever contacted us. No one can seem to help you with your concerns or issue someone always has to get back to you and never does. I bet when it comes to the rent you won’t have a problem communicating. If no one contacts me today then we will have the issues fixed and they will have to deduct the cost from the rent because this is ridiculous.

I put the work order in at 3am and Hector was there at 10:30 am he is very courteous and thorough with his work. Experiencia negativa: Every time I have a maintenance request, I specifically put in that Fridays are my only day off as someone needs to be home for a technician. And every time they always schedule it the day before without 24 hours notice so I can’t tell them to reschedule and I even asked for a specific technician and that goes ignored as well. It is absolutely frustrating that this happens every single time. There is clearly a lack of miscommunication when it comes to getting service scheduled.

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY! Mainstreet renewal is a scam. When we moved in dead cockroaches and foggers everywhere. I scrubbed roach feces off the floor for 30 hours. Food stains on walls, no fridge, dishwasher full of mold. Couldn't turn on water cause they didnt pay their bill. I paid them for electric for 3 months and they never paid the power company and tried to get me to repay. We have been out of our home 7 nights we have a 4 year old and are currently in a hotel because we have had no water for 2 days because they refused to hire a plumber that will show up. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. Do yourself a favor and sleep outside. Now wait for their generic nonpersonal reply for an email address they never answer.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT rent from this company if you don’t want headaches. I have put in the same maintenance request 4 times on my own, and one of their customer service reps just put it in for the 5th time. On multiple occasions they have rescheduled the appointment without an ounce of apology, after I have to take off 5 hrs of work to make sure I’m home within the window of their scheduled time… and then when they do show up all the maintenance guys do is take pictures and videos, maybe slap a bandaid on it or tighten a screw, and then say “I have to speak to management about it.” I pay my rent on or before the 1st of the month (which is ridiculous for the size of house I’m in) but apparently that doesn’t mean anything to them in regards to the maintenance of their homes. The wild part of this whole thing is… to fix the issue at hand is less than $100

I had a very stressful water issue where water was pooling, backing up, and leaking a lot of water into my bedroom, and in the bathroom. I was extremely anxious and honestly afraid the wall was going to have to be cut open and it was going to be a major repair. From the moment they arrived, Yusniel and Tracy were calm, personable, and confident. It was clear right after I explained what was going on that they knew exactly what they were doing — they seemed to identify the problem almost immediately. They explained everything to me step by step, answered my questions with patience, and truly put me at ease during a very overwhelming situation. Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars, I would. This rental company has been one of the worst housing experiences I’ve ever had. The maintenance situation is beyond unacceptable. We’ve had serious issues in our unit—including mold concerns and even septic backups—and getting anyone to respond has been like pulling teeth. We’ve submitted maintenance requests, called, followed up, and begged for basic habitability, and the lack of urgency or responsibility from this company is shocking. Weeks go by with no updates. When someone does finally come out, the “fix” is usually rushed, temporary, or doesn’t address the real problem at all. No family should have to live with these kinds of conditions or fight this hard just to get essential repairs handled. I would strongly warn anyone considering renting from this company to look elsewhere. The stress, health concerns, and constant runaround are absolutely not worth it.

Experiencia negativa: Thank you Hector for your quick response in regards to the water heater. After Hector, Luis came. Still no hot water. Then water got colder. Water is coming up from the floor. I cleaned that up at midnight. Now water is coming up from the baseboards/floor again. Someone was supposed to come today..its 5:46pm and Nothing. So now im afraid to use any water because I have no resolution. BUT THEY HAVE THEIR RENT. Guess if its not them its not priority. Thanks Main street renewal. Experiencia fantástica: Dave Brown came to our rescue today for an emergency that the customer support kept putting off. It began during the night and had us taking buckets of water out of our house. We understand calling and waiting but when we call at midnight with an emergency it’s disheartening to be placed into a queue with non urgent requests. Even after 8 hours we were still waiting for our request to be moved to an agent. I called Dave and he showed up this morning and diagnosed and fixed the issue and we finally have water back after over 12 hours. Experiencia fantástica: Antonio was at my house last Monday 11/17/25 to fix my garage door. And then it was giving us problems again yesterday and put a request in and MSR scheduled it right away with Hector and he was here maybe 10 minutes if that. He got it fixed and double checked everything. Also showed him about the trees in backyard that snapped off the trunk and going over the neighbors fences and that we need a contractor to come and cut down and Hector said he would let them know. I appreciate both maintenance men as well as MSR. My mom and I are both disabled and we love our house were in and hope to stay here for more years to come. MSR to maintenance have all taken care of us so much when issues arise. Thank you to Antonio/Hector and others as well as MSR for always making sure things get fixed. We appreciate you all

Experiencia negativa: Clogged toilet left outside on the side of the road for a week. Fecal matter and tissues from clog left splattered all in my shower after toilet was replaced. Was never given physical keys to any doors and the electric lock is not working as of yesterday (Friday) and I was told they will be out Monday to fix it. So we haven’t been able to get into our home. UPDATE Do not rent from them. Now we are having an issue with a leak and the hot water heater. For a week now we have kept the water off because I can hear it running even with all faucets turned off. The laundry room flooded where the hot water heater is. I’ve kept it off so that I do not end up with a ridiculous water bill, so that my possessions aren’t destroyed by flooding and to protect the property from damage. THEY DO NOT CARE. They gave no credit to my rent when locked out for an entire weekend. I’m sure they won’t offer for this inconvenience either. The property manager is worthless. The resident portal is a joke.

He even goes the extra step of fixing other things around the house as he is there and I point them out to him. Unlike other vendors, he didn’t stop until he found out where the tankless water heater was so that he could service us to the best of his abilities. Though it was only about an hour and a half, he worked to overcome every obstacle that could have hindered him from getting the job done. In the end, Joel represented MSR very well and himself even better. He deserves every bit of a raise that MSR could and should give to him. Please send him more often!

Experiencia fantástica: Cesar came this morning EARLY to help me with my no heating issue in the cold! I moved into my new home June 2025 and there were a few issues I made notes about in my move-in sheet. The pool enclosure screens had been cut by the mowers that came before I got here and the pool drains within the deck had been covered over with concrete by whoever did the pool deck resurface years ago. I am pleased to announce that within the last month they have fixed all the broken screens and uncovered the pool deck drains. It took a few months getting estimates from vendors (which they sourced and scheduled) but they came through and I didn't have to be a nuisance with follow up calls. Any other interior house situation I report, they generally come the next day or within that week. So far so good Mainstreet!

Experiencia negativa: Worst property management company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but issues since we moved into our property. They are completely unorganized, unprofessional, and do not care about providing livable conditions. The property management department is impossible to get in contact with and lie about providing call backs. We had contaminated water in our house making the property unloveable for the first 3 weeks into our lease. Now 6 months in we are again dealing with dirty water and hardly any water pressure through our sinks, toilets, and showers. They will try and not provide rental reimbursements under the excuse that the case was resolved in their internal system which they can do without any contact with you as a resident. We had to result to contacting an attorney in order to get anything done. Absolutely deplorable company.
