Fantastic experience: I toured a while ago and let me just say the ladies in the front office are amazing I walked in was greeted left and right it was pretty busy so as I waited Maria gave me some pricing and information offered me snacks and refreshments and Akila took me to view a few units and gave me all the information I needed didn’t even have to ask her any questions will be moving in later this year and can’t wait !!!

Negative experience: 5/1/26 Back to an everyday smell of weed. Tired of these idiots not being able to just smoke outside like normal people. Paying on time doesnt mean anything here. Trying to break lease due to this or asthma? Pay 1500. Seems like bringing it up is a problem/bother. I need someone to reach out to me asap. No one in the office answers. Office never answers. They don't like complaints or care to do something about it. This is a "non smoking unit", but it's full of drug addicts making my apartment smell like weed. If you like to wake up at night to some unemployed idiot smoking weed at 2 A.M this is the perfect place for you. They charge you 1500 to break lease and keep your deposit otherwise I would of have left already. If the owner or actually someone who cares actually sees these reviews, I suggest you look into who is running your business. Update: 11/29 A note was posted the same day this originally went up, druggies didn't care. Still an everyday thing. Office is nonexistent, smells is everywhere, do not believe the non smoking unit bs. Such a shame, the apartments are great, maintenance people on point, but they need better management to actually run them right. Fix the issue or release my lease. Update: 2/5 It has been a great new year. They got the problems situated and kept in contact. No smells at odd hours or not being able to use my restroom/master bedroom due to it. Thank you. Changing it to 4 stars as of this post.

Fantastic experience: I lived at the summit in 2008 and left because I moved back to New Mexico . I loved this place so much that I came back in 2015. I've been here ever since. I feel safe and taken care of all the time. I think it also helps to have great neighbors which I do.

Negative experience: As bad as I wanted to stay in these, I REGRET EVERY BIT OF IT NOW! The property manager is the most un-empathetic person I’ve ever came across. My whole experience from start to now has been one hell of an experience. Moving into the apartments, I was in communication with the front desk person who is no longer there. At this time, the manager, that is there now just took her offer as manager. My first time seeing this, Manager was the day before my move-in date. I came up to the Apartments to confirm that we were all set to go since I had scheduled movers coming in the morning. I spoke with this exact manager, who let me know that everything was good and that my key will be ready by 10 AM. Then comes the next day I make it to their office about 1020 just to be faced with my apartment is not ready and they were trying to push a much higher rate on me to take another unit. Furious is the emotion I felt at the moment because why was I told by the manager that my apartment was ready and now it is not. The manager was not in that day because she had training. Money has already been spent in plans were already set. My current Apartments were expecting their key by 5 PM. I had no choice but to sign up. The difference was 200 more. It was still doable, but not within my budget that I had already Set. I proceeded to sign the lease in agreeing that I will pay the amount. I did want to speak with the manager when she was back from training because I felt that it was wrong for her to tell me all of this to cause all of this confusion and not be available to clean it up. For weeks, I have been trying to get into communication with this manager, but she was never Available. I gave up and continued to My life. My job was hit with budget cuts in November and my role was eliminated. The way the world is now a lot of people are facing this Exact moment. I have been paying my rent within that month just not On time. January is here and I go into the office to have a conversation with them in reference to me paying my rent late And I had a pleasure of finally coming face-to-face with the manager. I have been trying to get in touch with for so long. After explaining my hardships to her The lack of empathy Caught me by Surprise. In her role as the manager, She explained to me the new Texas laws. This Manager even told me it’s better for you all to move out if you’re not gonna pay versus an eviction. This is coming from a manager. I just mentioned to her that it will be paid the last week of the month as that is when I’m able to pay it with Unemployment. It’s downright sickening and I would strongly suggest not to move here, especially with this person being the manager. Yes, I understand. I am paying my rent late and they are stipulations That they have in place. Just show some type of empathy for those who fall on hard times.

Fantastic experience: Out with the old in with the new. I love the new management team. No they don't give you anything you want , but they will do all they can to help you. In that's all I ever ask for. When I had my a problem in my home that was out of their control, they still did what they could to help me. I also would like to shot out The Summit maintenance team. Positive experience: Tenants have rights. You can read the texas tenant rights on the Texas Attorney General office website and you can always file out a consumer complaint with them as well. Landlords have responsibilities they must uphold as well.

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived at Summit Apartments for 3 years and it’s been a great experience. The pool is always a favorite, and Jessica was amazing as the pool monitor. Maintenance is fast and reliable, and the management team – Maria and Akili – are truly fantastic. They’re friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Ok, since the summits new team can’t answer phone calls and they refuse to give us our deposit money this is what I have to resort to. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star but of course you have to give something. My real review is -999,999,999,999/10 and that’s being generous. My husband and I hated this place everything about this place is godawful. I have left pictures so please follow along. The first apartment we got there wasn’t bad. The second one omg. In November we got a lot of rain and we were on the top floor and the water came in the roof and settled in the paint. That took a month to fix and even then they just painted over it. Then someone’s dog started barking day and night and they blamed our Great Dane and said we need to get rid of him. He is my emotional support animal that was against HIPPA (not the first law they violated). We told them it wasn’t him and gave them the apartment number of the people with the dog that was barking all night (I don’t know why we had to do their investigation for them). then in April our AC went out. We went to complain and they didn’t fix it till May. It was 90 degrees for weeks in our house and we have pets. They could’ve died,but they didn’t care. Instead in April they decided to come to us and give us a notice to vaccinate for “unpaid rent”. We asked what that was about since we paid our rent and they said no you didn’t pay for February…AGAIN WE ARE IN APRIL. The website that we used to pay rent didn’t tell us anything, and if they asked for the money we would’ve paid. We said we did pay for February, and showed them our bank statements proving we paid and that we didn’t even get a return on our money. They said “that’s not our problem figure it out or get out in a month”. Mind you the dummy gave me a screenshot of an email she received for corporate February 22nd telling her to tell us we had to pay. So we called the bank and they even said it’s weird they didn’t tell you anything for 2 months. We ending up paying with late fees although that wasn’t fair. Then they gave us a notice that they were going to fine us for not picking up dog poop. My husband and I went outside and picked up every single drop that we could find and we only found 1 that belonged to our dog. They dropped it finally. Again that was all just April. In May when we got the AC fixed the leaking in the roof started. I said come fix it or we are leaving (we were already leaving we got approved for a way better apartment but I thought this would get them to move their butts) they fixed the leak and our ac went out again. We complained again they got our AC working and again the leaking started causing mold, it made our second bathroom completely unsafe. It started flooding and it started to stink so bad. My husband and I had to stay with his family for a bit. We paid to break the lease and they put that into our account as if we paid rent it wasn’t till June 5th they fixed it so we could pay. They called my husband and I and demanded we come in to pay before they close at 5:30 my husband and I work in McKinney and wouldn’t be able to get back until 6:30 and they would’ve been gone for the day. I went off and screamed at them that they will take our payment on Saturday and that was that. They agreed and my husband threw the check at them. This was completely ridiculous. I can’t believe that they thought any of this was acceptable then had to nerve to get mad at us over our money. We couldn’t pack our stuff fast enough. Please never rent here there is a reason they are cheap save your time and money. If you live here now figure out how to leave we broke our lease we were so happy to leave. Now we live in a way better spot with better security (because the gate at this place never worked and we had people breaking into cars on Halloween and the police put us in a stay in place order) it nice having a place people can’t get into unless they live there or are a guest and have a parking garage. Anyway, if you made it to the end that’s great. Hope this was eye opening.

Negative experience: Everytime you try and call the front office to get info about the apartment complex they never answer and they never call you back when you leave a voicemail rent is a good price and the apartments look nice but they do not communicate with you at all Update when you finally get ahold of someone they give you a run around and don’t give you any information that you ask for and then wanna keep saying oh well have this person gives a call or do this or do that instead of just telling us what’s going on and then cancel your application but never give you a call about why or give you a call asking that we need this and this do not apply here they will screw you over

Negative experience: Today 04/20/2025 at 11:52 am , I haven't got power in my kitchen .I called 3 times for an emergecy maintenance as I already did my groceries Saturday and left several voicemails.After a while an agent called me asking if I can wait till tomorrow ,I let him know that it needs tp be fixed asap and he states that he will let his supervisor know ..and till now it is 10:37pm ,nobody show up. If this is NOT an emergency issue ,please can you let me know what is called ""emergency"" for you .I just start throwing my food..... and just a reminder that the flooding water in my appartment coming from the damage pipe in next door appartment , and result to the carpet wet and smelling mold over a month ,still an open work order...Thank you so very much !!!!!

Negative experience: Now that i’m free from this cesspit of an apartment and the office retaliation, let me share my experience. Don’t believe the photos they have, or the fake reviews they pay for or bribe out of people. Westdale is a corporation that cuts costs whenever possible, and it’s blatantly obvious by looking at this property. Not only did our bathroom ceiling cave in 2-3 times leaking water from a broken A/C they never got to fixing in my almost 3 years living there, the roaches are impossible to get rid of despite how clean you are. Kids in the 100s will be in the pool area every weekend of summer blasting the worst music ever carrying fake guns and breaking equipment. The office staff doesn’t clean it up though, they barely do anything. Don’t have high hopes for them answering the phone after they improperly have your car towed either. They won’t. They will, however, offer you the experience of living in a falling apart complex, do foundation work right outside your door and leave holes lining the sidewalk and front step (right in front of our door might I add). Want your fire alarm going off and the FD showing up multiple times due to electrical malfunction? They got it. Our microwave also fell out. Literally. The complex is covered in dog poop. When I say it is visible how little the staff cares about the maintenance of the facility, and how little the residents care or are able to act like actual adults, it is VISIBLE. We pay the same amount of rent they charge for a 1 bed, for a 2 bedroom new build unit in McKinney. The people who run this complex are scam artists. Your best bet is to not move here unless you enjoy mental torture to the fullest degree. I seriously suspect mold infestation along with the bugs, but have no solid proof. I Will say my health issues got tremendously better once leaving. Spare yourself, your sanity, and your bank account. This heaping pile of trash they call a complex is not worth the insane price tag they put on it. Maybe if they hired semi-competent people at the front office to stand up to corporate, they wouldn’t have the issues they have now. Do what you want, but all I can say is, this complex was a living nightmare to experience. They delete reviews as well, or retaliate if you still live there. Be careful.

Negative experience: I filled out an application 3 days ago and can’t get an update. I have called and emailed with no response. I’m sure they aren’t that busy to where only Lori can give me an answer on my application status… how long does it take to process an application? If that’s the case I need a refund on my app fee so I can apply somewhere else. Need a place to stay asap!

Positive experience: My experience with the summit was great I lived here about 3 years, the office staff and managers were ,great the customer service was top tier, work orders were always done very prompt I enjoyed the amentities I used the onsite gym and business center ,and I liked the amazon hub so packages never got lost .They even let me use a vacant apartment when they had to work on my bathroom. They worked with me at the end of my lease due to a property I planned moving to didn't have my apartment ready in time, for my lease end, that was a life saver, communication was awesome as well. My main reason for moving is being closer to my job, only complaint is seeing roaches however they did have pest control and they did treat it, hower with apartments if everyone isnt mandatory getting treated they won't 100% go away. But I would reccomend them.because thats something that can be fixed, with making all tentants be sprayed atleast once a month Thanks again for everything.

Negative experience: I would avoid this apartment at all cost will charge you 75 for application fee. Then will tell all the requirements after spending your money. You can’t have more three delinquent payment in the same calendar or your not eligible.

Fantastic experience: We have been here for almost a year and I can honestly say we love where we live at The Summit Apartments. The ladies in the office have always been kind and eveytime we had questions they were happy to help. The maintenance staff is absolutely amazing everytime we would request a work order it was done in an amazing time frame. They are always making sure the surrounding grounds are maintained and they will always say good morning or wave. Fantastic experience: These apartments were really nicely kept, super quiet, apartments have lots of space for the price. Samantha was super nice and helpful. She made everything so easy for us. Can't wait to move in. Update: When we moved in we found a few issues with the apartment however the maintenance team was quick to correct them and I have been very happy about all the help i have received.

Positive experience: Great staff , friendly and very helpful. I have been a residence since last year December and had many concerns upon moving in to the Summit. The staff there from Cardisha to Samantha have been very responsive and have worked through all concerns I had. I am enjoying my stay and I haven’t been bothered with neighbors loud music or dogs being left out without proper attention or trash not being picked up. I would recommend moving in there if you are on a pursue of a well maintained property that’s affordable and have great access to surrounding amenities in Mesquite!

Fantastic experience: I haven't lived in the city awhile. Moved here in June of 2023. Very friendly staff and actually a quite community. Very close to anything you need and nice parks in the area. The only issue I've had is the security gates not working properly numerous times. Everything else has been quite nice!

Fantastic experience: I lived in The Summit Apartments for 14 years. I know it's a long time to be in an apartment in the same complex. No it's not that I couldn't move. The staff and maintenance were exceptional. I have been through several staff changes. I wouldn't have stayed if I was not comfortable. I had the best neighbors after 14 years...Farewell To The Summit.

Positive experience: To start, everyone that works here is extremely nice, so no issues there. No bug issues. The longer I live here, the louder the neighbors get. These apartments were built in the 80's and it shows in a lot of ways. The repairs that are done are really just patches put on larger issues (lots of water damage). Very much, "Keep layering paint until it looks nice" rather than actual updates. Old tiles in the bathroom painted over white, old tile floors with laminate rolled on top, etc. Don't be fooled by the beautiful office you sign your lease in. That's not representative of the apartments. By the way, the ceiling fan in the office feels great. Would have been nice to have one in my actual unit. Very thin walls that you can hear neighbors getting up to night time fun through (ew). Conversations held outside can be heard clearly inside. Every night at 2-3am a tow truck comes to tow cars that aren't registered and makes car alarms go off. You have to juggle about three different websites for this place. One for rent, another for your own personal vehicle, and another for guest vehicles. All just to make sure your car isn't towed. Make sure all information is up to date. I updated my license plates in the Summit app and not the other website, and you guessed it, I was towed. You won't be notified and you'll be out $326. Oh, by the way, there's ANOTHER app to open the gate, not a fob or a code. Also, the prices you read for this place online are all false. With fees and everything, a 1br is over $1,300 (depends a little on what floor you're on). Like many other reviews have stated, the water bill is ridiculously high. They add up the total and average it out each month. Washer dryer hookups, but no washer dryers. Mandatory $18 alarm fee each month if you use it or not. So yeah, a decent place to stay but a money pit, for sure. The staff really do their best with what they can, but when you're dealing with a landlord who is actually just a massive filthy rich company with multiple properties across the US, you can't win. Update: Just read another review where the ceiling above their shower leaked like crazy. The SAME THING happened in my apartment! I had no idea it was an incorrectly installed washer above me that caused it. I notified maintenance and they went upstairs to fix it without telling me what caused it. I guess this is a common thing here.

Fantastic experience: Very good place to live. They followed up after a work order was completed to make sure all was right and added one more to finish one small adjustment I needed done. I am on my 3rd lease here and the process is so smooth and the ladies in the office are so kind and helpful whenever I call.

Fantastic experience: It’s been peaceful 18 months at the Summit. The office staff, AMAZING, and I sincerely mean this. Always helpful the times I had questions or needed something, maintenance responded quickly, very clean, no problems with heat or air. My apartment faced the street and it was quite and nice neighbors and most importantly never a problem with parking. Again thanks for a great 18 months.

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived at The Summit for 6 years now. My experience has been EXCEPTIONAL! Initially I lived into a 2-bedroom and from there I transferred to a 3-bedroom. The staff and managers made my transfer easy! Each time I have a maintenance request it’s answered quickly and the maintenance staff always leaves the area clean. I have enjoyed the upgrades to the complex that makes its look much better and the add of the lockers makes it safe for me to receive packages. I enjoy living here and have just renewed!

Negative experience: Do Not Live Here. Gates are always stuck open, and stay that way for weeks. They do not care about residents. It is extremely overpriced despite few if any updates. Forced to move due to personal circumstances and they made it an extremely difficult process, trying to collect as much as they could from me every way possible. Had my car towed at 5 am and called their emergency number only for it to go to an ex employee.

Negative experience: Been here 4 years. Not much to complain about. They never answer the phone. Voice mail says they will get back to you....NEVER DO!! Sign!!by office says hours Monday through Friday, like 9am to 5pm. Tried to drop my rent check Friday June 30th at 1pm because we were going to Houston and returning Monday night the 3rd before office is closed for the 4th. DOOR WAS LOCKED !! Called...never returned my call. Now, trying to screw me with late charges. NOT MY FAULT. ITS YOUR FAULT!!

Negative experience: I do not know where to begin. I have lived at The Summit Apartments for 5 years and I must say every year has gotten worse with the leasing office, and maintenance. If there was a way to give them a negative star I would. The leasing office ignored several complaints I've made to them. As far as informing you of any changes the complex is making or even returning a phone call when they say they will "get back to you" they are very unprofessional. This apartment complex will charge you for the mistakes THEY make. In the five years living here I have received 1 carpet cleaning and they charged me for carpet damages once I moved. I have made several complaints about not having a mail box key which went ignored to the point I had to use relatives address to receive mail. They charged me for not returning in that key , which they never gave me one, as well. My front door lock was broken due to some type of malfunction with the lock. I put my key in to lock the door and when i pulled it out the lock came with it, ultimately resulting in me being locked out. I called the "emergency maintenance line" which of course I got no response. I was forced to call a lock smith and pay close to $400 dollars to get a new lock put on. I spoke with the leasing office in which they informed me that they have never in the history of their company reimbursed or credited anyone for anything. I spoke with the corporate office at Wesdale Asset Management on this matter as well as previous matters and they told me they would "get back to me" which they never did. And yes, once again they charged me for this as well once I recently moved. They charged me for damage to the front door which I have pictures showing no damage. I never received a follow up on this matter. Maintenance does not respond in a timely matter regardless of emergency. Also, when maintenance actually finishes a job they NEVER clean up after themselves. They have left trash on my counters several times and took a week to install a new toilet when they put new toilets in all the units. I was forced to use the gym toilet because mine was down for a week. This is the only upgrade that they have done to the unit in 5 years outside of painting the outside doors and rails which they do often. We also had a gate code for years all residents knew and grew comfortable using and with no warning they changed the code and claimed it was only for the office and maintenance workers to use which was an obvious sudden inconvenience for residents. They also changed parking requirements with little warning outside of an email, which if not met will result in your vehicle being towed as well as any guests vehicle that may be parked on the property. This is an inconvenience because there are no assigned parking spots as well as no visitor parking. Of course they have increased rent every year, which I understand that is every property in todays time, however they have made little to no upgrades to the property outside of painting. The way this complex operates I would not be exaggerating by calling it just short of a scam the way they will charge or hold you responsible for the mistakes they make, as well as find any reason to tow your vehicle. This is a terribly ran complex and I would not recommend living here to my worse enemy. The Summit Apartments does not treat their residents with any type of value or respect from corporate, to the leasing agents, down to maintenance workers which is why I ultimately decided to move for good.

Negative experience: One word. ROACHES!!! My sister lived here and on the day she moved in, they were all over the place. Since then a day has not gone by without her seeing them. On the walls, ceiling, everywhere. Don't believe management when they send pest control to spray. It does not work. My sister is extremely clean and due to this infestation, she refuses to eat in her apartment. Its to the point where my sister stays with me more than she does at her own place. If you want a place without roaches, find somewhere else.

Negative experience: My experience trying to rent here has been terrible! I applied online on June 14, I was told it would take 5 days for the application, I was okay with that. But then on June 20th, I haven’t heard anything so I sent an email trying to get information about our application. The lady, Cardishea said she need a copy of our check stubs and she would let us know an answer by tomorrow. So tomorrow, June 21st, arrives I didn’t hear anything. I sent an email around 4:30 and asked again about our application. I didn’t receive a email back until June 22nd, that morning. She stated she need our social security cards and asked me to bring them by the office. So once I did that she said she would verify everything and have an answer for me by the next evening. Once again, she never called or emailed me with an answer. So on Saturday, June 24th, I went up to the office around 10:23am. They open at 10am on Saturdays. The door was locked and I even called the office 3 times to make sure. I waited a few minutes to see if someone would show up and they never did. I have never been through this before trying to move into an apartment! After that happened on Saturday, I went and signed a lease at another apartment. Keep in mind, we had to move by Monday. After I called and sent an emailed about cancelling my application, I didn’t receive a response back. And I really wanted to move here, but the application process and communication definitely need to be better! I just felt like I kept getting pushed to that back.

Fantastic experience: I've been a resident for almost 6 years and service has been extraordinary in maintenance, office help answering questions or concerns. Quiet for the most part with the exception of youngsters sometimes which doesn't bother me when they are simply having fun and behaving! Lots of storage space with w/d connections, alarm system and fireplace were the selling points for me! Rates are reasonably comparable with the surrounding area. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently a resident at The Summit and I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better apartment complex to live in. The leasing agents are very welcoming, helpful and sweet! Our maintenance orders are usually completed within a day, not to mention the maintenance guys are very respectful. The office staff is very good with informing residents about upcoming updates to the property and parking is never an issue. Highly recommend living at The Summit if you’re looking for a pleasant and clean environment!

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant place to live, I moved with my sister about a year ago in July. Never had a single problem with these apartments. They are very clean and very quick to get to you if you need anything or having a problem. Parking is always great and also neighbors are super quiet and friendly. Fantastic experience: Easy application process. Office staff are very responsive, courteous and helpful!! Complex is clean and pretty quiet. Lots of parking. One bedroom apartment is generous size and very cozy. Alarm system included is a bonus. Negative experience: The neighbors, quiet neighborhood and accessibility is the only reason it gets two stars because they have been unnecessarily towing my REGISTERED vehicles since I’ve moved in. And the gate code never works and is broken every other week. Front office can be very dismissive when it comes to a towing issue

Negative experience: This is the worst apartment to live in. The management team is so incompetent and unprofessional. It’s approximately 6/12/2022 12:58am. Everyone should remember that earlier today there was an heat stroke advisory. And how convenient that my HVAC unit stop working all day today shortly after I inquired about the gate key and gate code on 6/10/ 2022 at approximately 4:00 pm however due to them preparing for those pool pizza party I had to wait an hour before management was available up program my number . Still don’t work. I hope that someone from the corporate level will see this . I have two toddlers and the temperature is 106 degrees but that doesn’t classify as an emergency !! How ??with two young ones!! One of which have a dx of asthma and the heat doesn’t help! So here we are trying to find extra money to check into an hotel when I already pay almost 1700 In rent ! Why ? There should be a Maintance on call that respond immediately! This is Texas heat we are taking ! My experience here has not been anything but bad! From my own car being towed after not receive the assigned gate code from management until after that ! This is the worst place to live ! I can’t wait to move out ! I would give this place zero !! This is not how humans should be treated ! Starting to think that I am being targeted !

Positive experience: The Summit is nice, though a bit pricey and I water is expensive with it being divided up the way it is instead of priced individually by unit. Most of our neighbors are fantastic. I know that some noise from neighbors, especially upstairs neighbors is to be expected. You have the occasional loud car radio in the parking lot for a few minutes, people talking outside, etc. All normal and to be expected. However, the level of noise at all hours from our upstairs neighbors is ridiculous. They have caused our child to wake up in the middle of the night (as well as us) and have caused so much noise and commotion that it has literally made our walls shake. I've often wondered if they have small elephants living there. They also allow their children to run around outside with zero adult supervision (often round moving vehicles). I am not looking forward to these children in the pool area this summer. They also throw their trash in front of the lower apartments and leave it there. Other than that, everyone else supervises their children, everyone is welcoming, friendly, and courteous. It really is a nice place other than being pricey (everywhere is though), the water bill, and our upstairs neighbors being terribly loud.

Positive experience: I have lived here for three years. I like where I live as far as location and I have really good neighbors. The rooms are very spacious and maintenance calls are answered in a timely fashion. The only thing I don't like are the kitchen and bathroom cabinets that have a water line where it looks like the wood had rotted from a flood because you can see the water lines. The good thing is, my apartment has never flooded since I have been here. That's the only reason I give it a four star and the amount that the rent goes up at renewal time. Other than that, the staff are friendly and they do community engagement events, such as ice cream days, holiday decorating contest,trick or treating and hotdogs and breakfast days. Even though the price is tough on me, I would rather live in this complex than any others here in Mesquite. It's safe, fairly quiet and accessible.

Negative experience: moved in september 2021, first day i got here dead and live roaches were all around the apartment. dirty cabinets, the bathroom was dirty, the smell was horrible, and nothing had been cleaned. all appliances were old and thoroughly used. this is disgusting and an absolute waste of money.

Fantastic experience: Love the ladies in the office they are the bomb! They are the best whenever I have any issue. Maintenance is very prompt too, all my work orders usually get resolved in 24 hrs. Very happy with the service and the lifestyle .

Negative experience: The gate is always broken , it's more trouble than anything. And I don't understand the point of a pool pass. There are so many people who come and don't live here. When the office closes the pool is ridiculously busy with unsupervised kids . If you or your family like having a nice pool this is not the place. You can only enjoy it when the office is open

Fantastic experience: I do not know where the negative reviews come from but, having been in property management in the past for 29 years, I know you can make some people happy and regardless of how hard you try, some will never be happy. I have only resided here less than six months and find the office staff, maintenance staff, curb appeal, response to any requests you may have, taken care of within reasonable time and professionally. I recommend The Summit Apartments to anyone looking for a he instead of just an apartment. The gated community, exercise room, pools and playground are an added plus.

Positive experience: I have had a pleasurable experience living here. I have rarely had any issues at all. My go to person is always Leydi she is so sweet and is always the same person each and every time. I only gave four stars because we are up for renewal and was advised last week that my lease would not be renewed due to previous rent being late. My communication has always been there so I am a saddened that we even have to be moving at this time. My rent has been paid every month even if I had been late. We are having to settle because there are not very many apartments that are available within the time that our lease is up. We were never given a warning or anything but I do know Texas is at will and it is not required for your lease to be renewed. I did not ask questions try to argue or anything. I'm just taking it for what it is.

Positive experience: The office workers are nice and compliant! The 3 bed room is pretty roomy, kitchen small, good closet room and storage space! Place is a bit old so a lot of things are worn out, and need repaired frequently! Good maintenance though! Water bill is separate and extremely high!! It arranged from $220 to $240 plus the alarm system and rent which is a bit much! Gun shots twice since I’ve been here in this year but other than that no problems! Good heating and air system! They fix on the water a lot so it has to be turned off from 9-5 when they do! Other than that, it’s a pretty decent place to live!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE living at The Summit! I've lived here for almost 3 years! All repair requested have been SUCCESSFULLY completed w/in 24 hours. All my questions asked without hesitation! Joanna and Leydi are THE BEST Leasing Agents! I transferred from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom with The Summit and my neighbors in both apartments have been GREAT! I would recommend this complex 100 times over!

Fantastic experience: The apartments are a close proximity to the highway for easy commute and to so many shopping stores. My one bedroom is very spacious compared to others I saw and have washer and dryer connections. Not luxurious but very accommodating to fit my needs . Front office staff made the whole process a breeze, thank you ☺️

Negative experience: RUNNN!!So I moved here in February and the staff has been great BUT!!!! I have roaches terribly!! The first night I moved in I could not stay because roaches were EVERYWHERE!!! When I asked if I could be refunded for the hotel I had to stay in due to the roaches I was denied!!! ! I have been on the list to get my apartment sprayed each week and it seems like they come right back!! THEN THERE WAS A MOUSE!!! I have asked to move to another apartment but nothing has been done and I’m sick of it!! It’s $1000 just to break the lease!! I can’t wait to leave this dump !! I am a very clean person and this was my first apartment!!! It’s been terrible since day one here!!

Negative experience: They are very inconsiderate and unprofessional I dealt with Joanna and she was never helpful , i always had to call / reach out to her to figure out anything concerning my application! The actual date i was supposed to move in i had to call 50 million times to see what was going on and still they had me running in circles! They verified my income and that wasn’t enough! They took me through so much you’ll think that your were moving in some Downtown Condos or something! would not recommend , the freaking gates don’t even work!

Fantastic experience: I lived at the Summit for a year and loved it. I had to move but it was not because of any issues with the apartments or staff. The staff was great. And, Leydi was the best. I would rent with them again just because of her. Any maintenance issues I had was taken care of in 24 hrs. It's a quite community and very close to the shopping district.
