Imagineers, L.L.C. is a Connecticut-based housing services company that manages condominiums, rental property, and housing programs. We also renovate and maintain housing. Our company has grown during each of its 40 years. Our customers have high expectations of us and we have been successful at meeting them. We feel our greatest strength is our ability to attract and retain unusually capable employees. We employ over 150 people, more than half of whom have been with us for over 7 years; 50 employees have been with us for over 10 years.

Our comment from Agencias Inmobiliarias about Imagineers LLC:

Imagineers LLC is a property management company known for its professional staff and responsiveness in addressing issues. Many residents have noted the improvements in communication and service over the past years, highlighting that certain team members are helpful and dedicated to assisting tenants. For instance, Melissa Irizarry and Natisha Brown have received accolades for their kindness and professionalism.

However, the company has faced significant criticisms regarding maintenance and accountability. Numerous clients have reported delayed responses to urgent repair requests, leading to serious issues, including property damage and unsafe living conditions. The overall management process has been described as disorganized, with residents often feeling neglected and undervalued.

While some tenants have shared positive experiences, especially with particular employees who go above and beyond, the recurring themes of poor customer service and unaddressed maintenance issues have resulted in disappointment for many. It is recommended that potential clients carefully consider these aspects before engaging with Imagineers LLC.

Negative experience: I don't know who to actually send this picture to as every single thing that has gone wrong in Fox Hill has not been managed, including the tree limb that totaled my car because you do not trim the trees back. Also the destruction of the storage unit on my deck that was destroyed by one of your men cleaning up the snow and throwing it on top of the roof. So here's another one for you. This appears to be the beginning of a sinkhole. Perhaps you should have somebody come out here and look at the conditions of the roads in Fox Hill instead of bothering people about the color of their doors. If this is the beginning of a sink hole, imagine the lawsuits imagineers will face. Your endless neglect will most likely result in serious consequences. DO ANYTHING in here to show the owners that you actually MAINTAIN their property or don't do anything like your history proves and good luck with that.

Negative experience: If I could give this company zero stars I would. Worst condo management company in CT. Glorified bill collectors is what they are. They don’t focus on the issues that arise and they sweep everything under the rug. From the moment I purchased my condo 6 years ago till I sold it last week it was constant nonsense. Trying to fine 1 single person for by-law violations but everyone else in the community is violating them as well. Even the president of the board. And when you need their help they just ignore your calls and emails. Property manager Donna Rathbun and assistant property manager Michelle Wilson are totally worthless and oblivious to what real property management is like. I don’t know how they have jobs. Avoid Stafforshire Commons in Wallingford CT and this company at all costs!

Negative experience: Worst property management company I have ever dealt with. My girlfriend has owned a condo in an HOA managed by this organization for 8 years, for the past 4 years her service request for a leaking roof has gone COMPLETELY ignored despite repeated emails and calls regarding the matter. At this point the leak in the roof has caused thousands of dollars in damages to the interior of the unit which she is undoubtedly going to be responsible for despite repeated documented requests to fix the underlying problem. Now let’s talk about the next issue, corruption. Recently, HOA has decided to replace all of the decks on the units in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Not so fast. The deck on our unit is approximately 8‘ x 16‘ The HOA is demanding $14,000 to replace this small deck. As a general contractor if I were to do the same job for a client, it would be a fraction of that cost. The HOA is hired a friend of one of the board members to do the work and it has been quoted double or triple what it should be. Where do we think that money is going? If it’s not corruption, it’s a level of malevolent incompetence that these days should be reserved for Washington. If our requests continue to go unanswered, legal matters will be taken.

Negative experience: Lack of accountability, slow to do repairs, and close to no maintenance until the situation becomes dire. It’s unfortunate when this is the company that takes care of the place you live, because no matter how nice you take care of your home, you still have to deal with a company that is unable to handle a simple task like painting a door that was installed 2 years ago. Another issue that is known, cracked side walks that are extremely dangerous to walk on, rocks falling off the mailbox station causing tripping hazards, and not cutting back rotted trees that hang over cars. I learned the hard way when my brand new car became totaled due to a rotted tree falling on my car in a very minor rain storm absolutely crushing it. This is the same area people walk under to get to their cars every day, the situation could have been catastrophic. Imagineers took no responsibility, even after some of the maintenance people, who work for them told us that branches and trees have been falling on cars for years in the same area, and that it’s easily avoidable by pruning back trees that hang over cars(especially rotted trees). While I don’t expect anything to come from this, I just hope others will see this before moving into a development managed by imagineers LLC, so they know what to expect. Fox Hills resident

Negative experience: This is not a competent management company. The Park Towers building is poorly maintained, and management is largely unresponsive. Building maintenance is inadequate, and the cleaning company does the bare minimum. Common charges are high, yet there are no amenities. The landscaping service, J. Fernandez, does a poor job. Snow plowing has been unsatisfactory, leaving the parking lot icy for extended periods. I personally witnessed a resident fall due to these unsafe conditions. I also witnessed one of the landscaping workers urinating in a bush directly beneath a resident’s window, which is completely unacceptable. There is a board member named Ramon who has repeatedly harassed residents. He goes through people’s packages, which he has no right to touch, and excessively monitors security cameras. His behavior is inappropriate and concerning, and he should be removed from the board. The projects he has overseen are poorly executed and incomplete. Overall, this is a terrible place to live, and management does very little to address residents’ concerns.

Negative experience: I moved in about three years ago and I bought my first condo and the HOA fee was supposed to be $375. That was the only reason I got even got approved current date of 2025 to 2026 the HOA fee is $900 because of a special assessment and I’m falling behind and I can’t afford this. I’ve tried working with this property management company and they We’re pretending to at first and every time we kept catching each other at a bad time and then they just stopped answering and sent over my behind fees to the lawyer. I owe $2500 and they want it for clothes in my condo. This company did such a terrible job answering the phone taken care of our property. Our payment is cracked and they keep filling it in. It looks terrible. The wooden railings are rotting on the balconies and front steps of the stairs to get up to the condos are all cracking and falling apart we had to take care of the pool as a community and I helped last year which I would not do again because it’s not even worth a headache. Once our special assessment falls off it’ll still be $600 a month, which is sky high for having only a pool that the residence take care of, I know many people in this condo Complex are struggling to pay this astronomical fee. They’re literally pushing people who have lived here for a long time out of their homes and even me as the first time homebuyer because I cannot keep up with this they sent over my behind fees to the lawyer to foreclose me and they really did not try to work with me. They rip you off in any circumstance when you’re down and out, they will take away your home this company is awful and atrocious. The care are complex gets is so minimal but the fee is high. It’s not adding up in anyway.

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience with HOA Construction Teams I feel it is imperative to share the disappointing experience we’ve had with your construction company during the fire restoration of my mother’s condo. Fire Restoration Project: In March 2025, my mother’s condo suffered severe fire damage. The kitchen was destroyed, and the property needed extensive cleaning, restoration and repainting. The condo association insists on being in charge – utilizing contractors, assigning a PM and an estimator, all of their own choosing. The estimator then delivered a shocking timeline: at least a full year for renovation. What should have been a speedy recovery turned into ongoing frustration. As of January 2026, after endless hassles, the work is complete. The following is an account of the incompetence we endured the past 10 months: 1. Perpetual Delays: While we understood that proper channels needed to be followed and permits needed to be obtained and approved, work didn’t start until late June, three months after the fire. 2. Careless Temperature Setting: During July and August, workers irresponsibly set the AC to 52 degrees, disregarding my instructions to feel free to use AC during work hours, but to please set it to 78 when leaving. This not only risked the AC condenser seizing but also led to us incurring higher utility expenses. 3. Atrocious Tile Job: The tile flooring installed in the front of the condo was misaligned throughout, forcing the floor to be torn up and redone. 4. Granite Countertop Fail: Without any consultation, a seam was placed dead center on the countertop right in front of the sink, the most visible spot in the kitchen. The smaller piece of granite on the island wasn’t even attached to the underlying cabinetry. 5. Refrigerator Debacle: Due to negligence in pushing the refrigerator in on time, we crossed the return window and had to unnecessarily buy another one. 6. Dishwasher Failure: The dishwasher installation left a drawer misaligned. The attempt to fix it resulted in a powerless appliance. 7. Bathroom tile: White caulking (where none was before) was placed on top of brown molding tile. 8. Botched Hardware Installation: Pre-drilling hardware holes on drawer faces, without knowing the specifics of what hardware was purchased, led to an eyesore of poorly patched holes. 9. Careless Workmanship: Damaged floor vents, mismatched wall plates, and reckless behavior like leaving windows open and the sliding glass door unlocked. This experience was highlighted by poor communication, and blatant disregard for quality and customer satisfaction. It took three rounds of punch lists to rectify their careless work. Summary: Your company’s performance was shameful. Your team exhibited neglect, and a complete lack of responsibility, causing us undue stress and financial burden. This entire ordeal has left us not only frustrated but disappointed in the service provided.

Negative experience: I wish I could say anything positive about this company. They deserve 0 stars. This management company is absolutely horrible and negligent. I've only had 2 years of experience with them and they've been dreadful to work with and unless a lawyer or the department of health get involved they are unresponsive and make their residents live in frankly dangerous conditions. Due to their failure to properly maintain our condo property my kids and I have had to endure living with black mold, rotten walls/siding/giant hole thru our house to the outside, mice, and now a basement full of sewage. They are completely negligent in their lack of action to properly maintain even the septic system, they don't maintain the gutters properly and allow pooling of water to corrode and eat away the siding and balcony and cause mold and rot. We have 2 septic tanks on the property and they let 1 die completely and they didn't maintain the 2nd one. They knew it was going to fail at somepoint soon as the alarms were going off Dec 1st and they did not fix or repair the tanks and now it has failed and sewage has backed up into our homes! We contacted them and get no response, they take no actions. Until finally we contacted the dept of public health and they're making them do something about it. I had to flee my home with a 6 year old, 4 year old and 3 month old baby because of the sewage in our home and I still have not been contacted by this management company about cleaning up the damage caused by their failure to act! I will be researching next steps on what can be done against this company and their lack of compliance and negligence. Beware of imagineers and stay far away from them!

Negative experience: I’m not surprised by all the one star reviews for this company. I had an automatic payment set up to pay my hoa fees which somehow turned off randomly, I would still like to know how that could evenhappen. Then months later i get a notification from a lawyer about collecting a sizable debt under my name. I never received a letter or email stating my hoa payments were not being processed and didnt hear about it until they charged me over $800 in lawyer collection fees. Despicable! I’ve only done one service request in the past as well and it was ignored so they’re 0/2 in my book. Also, I have called Martha from accounting 5 separate times since July, about once a month. Every single time, I have to leave a voicemail and she never gets back to me. Good luck getting in touch with these people. But dont worry, they’ll send you balance to collections before giving you a call or email. Bull

Negative experience: Our condominium community is managed by Imagineers. Members of the community have voiced complaints about the management because the community is neglected. Imagineers does not follow through regarding concerns brought forth my unit owners, does not complete work to maintain the property when asked and does not respond to emails. Quite simply, I am befuddled regarding their responsibility to managing our community.

Negative experience: The absolute worst customer service on planet earth. Shari and Lisa never reply to email inquiries. You have to cc a board member to get a reply. Completely Incompetent Staff. Don’t expect much from these people. 0 stars is more accurate. Addendum: I put in a work order to have a new AC gutter/line set cover stained which took 11 months because the association doesn’t own a ladder. The neighborhood is all two story units. Perhaps they should buy a ladder? After the super stained it, I had to redo it because it looked like a 5 year old completed the job. Don’t expect much for your money.

Negative experience: I am quoting some else in the review section since I had the similar experience “ “I wish I had nicer things to say about this management company, but they are hands off and non-communicative. They don't seem to take any interest in the people who actually live in the properties they manage. They actively avoid contact with residents by refusing in person meetings and ignoring many service requests with reminders. It's unfortunate that they make people's homes and lives more stressful.” After reading the reviews about this company, what me and tenants are experiencing with the company is nothing new. Bad management all around. Luckily we have social media helping us out.

Or overall a horrible neighborhood crack addicts everywhere, people shooting, trash everywhere. Why would I move from bad to worse. There are no decent apartments in that book! I’m just trying to finish school so I can make efficient enough money to get off this program. It’s causing more harm than good

Fantastic experience: I initially reached out for assistance and, unfortunately, did not receive the help I needed from the first person I spoke with. It was a frustrating experience, and I was starting to feel like my concerns wouldn’t be addressed. However, that changed completely when Tessa Murray and Melissa Irizarry got involved. Both Tessa Murray and Melissa were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand the issue, provided clear communication, and went above and beyond thanks so much to both. MEsquilin

I have had several situations and every time I have gone into the office Melissa Irizarry has always been very helpful, patient and listens to my concerns. I know her position at the front can be difficult at times but I am thankful that she has been there as long as she has and has much knowledge of how the program works.

Negative experience: I am writing this review today out of sheer frustration and anger. I have never left a Google review before, but I can no longer stay silent. I am taking a stand against the behavior of the woman who works at the front desk, Melissa. Her consistently nasty, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful attitude has pushed me to my limit. Every time I walk into that office, I am met with hostility, eye-rolling, and snide comments muttered under her breath—not only toward me but toward other clients as well. It is clear she has no regard for basic decency or respect. What makes this even more infuriating is that I am the parent of an autistic child, and we are a family of color. I have witnessed what I can only describe as blatant racism and discrimination—not only directed at us but also toward another family with darker skin who visits the office. Melissa makes inappropriate comments about people’s appearances, laughs at them, and carries herself with a smug, entitled attitude that is completely unacceptable in any professional setting. Her behavior is hateful, hurtful, and flat-out wrong. To make matters worse, she slams office equipment, rolls her eyes in frustration when clients ask questions, and behaves like she is being burdened just by doing her job. It’s beyond unacceptable—it’s toxic. No one should have to feel humiliated or degraded when walking into a government ran office, especially families already dealing with enough stress. If you’ve had a similar experience with this woman, I urge you to speak up. Comment, share, and make your voice heard. I am tired of feeling dismissed and disrespected, and I know I am not the only one. We deserve better. Everyone who walks into that office deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect—none of which Melissa seems capable of showing.

Negative experience: I have been with imagineers for 5 years and I think it is about time they got rid of this lady Melissa in the front every time you go into the office and she is there you are met with unpleasantness. She has an extreme attitude problem and everyone talks about it. She answers people aggressively, sarcastically and slams paper work on the table before handing it off you. I have been to the office a few times to drop off paper work and she would be talking to another coworker and she would tell me to me wait and I have yo stand there until her conversation is over with she would sit there and laugh and giggle and then she will turn around and say how can i help you and i think that is very rude and unprofessional. Not to mention her talking about other clients in front of us. I have been up to the office a few times and i have watched clients leave and as soon as they leave she starts talking about them very loudly in front of us i have also witnessed other people on section 8 chiming in on the conversation and she would just laugh. She is the rudest person and the most unprofessional person in that office. She has been there for a every long time and for her to be acting like this is crazy we are all human beings. When i come to the office i now only ask to speak with cappie as melissa has made it so uncomfortable there. Not only me but others have said this as well. Something needs to be done about her as she is trashy and is bring the company down with her. Something needs to be done about her either fire her or get her to work behind the scenes because for her to be the first person of contact is bringing this business down.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about my Section 8 worker, Natisha Brown—she is truly the best! Out of all the housing workers I’ve had, she has been the most compassionate, understanding, and helpful. She took the time to go over my paperwork with me and made sure I fully understood everything, which meant so much because the process can feel overwhelming. She never made me feel rushed or judged—just supported and respected. What really stood out to me is that she let me know I can reach out to her anytime if I have questions. That kind of reassurance and support goes a long way, especially when you’re going through hard times. Her kindness, patience, and dedication make her truly one of a kind. I feel blessed to have her as my worker. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! – Michelle Krzykowski

Fantastic experience: I have been living here for 20 years and have been dealing with a variety of property managers over that time. I have never been as happy as I am now with Imagineers. I specifically deal with the property assistant Danielle who is always very accommodating and helpful with any situation that arises. Any time I have a question or an issue I call Danielle and she makes it her priority to handle things right away. Overall Imagineers has gotten much better in their support and handling of clients issues in the last few years.

Negative experience: The case manager I have is awful, her tone is very judgmental as if the situation could not easily be reversed. She has miscalculated rent a number of times. She is rude, snooty, and if you go to a supervisor they are all biased. They do not accept accountability for their mistakes and HUD is no better. I have reached out to them for assistance but they do not reach back out either. A one time education stipend was used to calculate my rent which was not supposed to happen and nothing was done, I submitted documents that my child was no longer receiving SSD and they still charged me rent , but when I asked for a credit they said that the lingo on the document was not specific enough and the supervisor agreed. Funny though, right now rather than three paystubs I’m being required to submit 5 because obviously they want to make sure they can charge me the most possible. I was not given a heads up that upon my daughter moving out I would be required to pay additional for her bedroom and out of nowhere I was charged for the room leaving me only 300$ out of my monthly income to be able to survive, oh and btw I don’t get food assistance so I have to stretch that 300-500$ for food, insurance, car, and utilities for my son and I. It is impossible so I been trying to find a job that can make this work out as I don’t have the resources to move. And while I’m explaining this all to those that read this I want to give an extra thanks to HUD for reaching back out to me after numerous emails asking for their assistance in this matter. Thank God for food Pantry’s and Churches and definitely don’t want to forget to thank my landlord for not evicting my son and I for falling 4 months behind in rent. There were days the two of us literally starved! Went days with no food trying to balance the little monies I had. I remember we tore into a chicken like savages we were so hungry. A very special thanks to the one who over the last last seven years in imagineers has made my experience so stressful for no reason other than she gets off on it Maribel Carrillo I have never had such a terrible relationship with my workers until I was placed with this one. There are those who set you up for success and there are those in life who want to see you suffer. She is one of those people and imagineers is full of workers like her. Not all but many.

Negative experience: Company does not care about their tenants and unfair Fine ruling. Only care about getting your money. That they wouldn’t responded back with the question I had. All they did was send the rules they had for the complex. Apparently, during a snowstorm, they expect you to move your vehicle, even if you are away in another country on vacation. If I knew this I guess I can’t go on vacation anymore in the winter months unless its less then 24 hours after the storm.

Negative experience: My opinion..This is the most corrupt business with no ethics. They use all tactics, threats & loot money even when work is not done.So many irregularities and contradicting information in their own communication, when even done. 1)4/'23. They emailed us-common stairs between us & neighbor, need "repairs" & I will have to pay 1/2. No work/quote detail.I asked them to show "damage" in person but they Never ever did. 2) After 3.5 months, we got invoice- charge $3487.37 to fix 2 steps of stairs with 1 picture of steps. I had to pay $1743.69 3)They claim, they finished work.Repeatedly I requested them to give me details of work done & date. They don't answer (even today) as they don't have one. Per their contract & 3 emails,.to work, entry in my unit was must & no one ever came to my unit. No Hearings were given as per by-laws.They sent us a letter to foreclose my unit, only due to this issue/balance..while they could never prove work even done as described repeatedly. They always say- It's board's decision but all communications are done by Imagineers. In house- manage, "inspection" , contractor. Conflict of interest. Any oversight that comes in their way, is strongly crushed.. More people share their experiences, hopefully will help others...from Niti Patel

Negative experience: Unprofessional, lack of timely responses, Imagineers made an error in billing (>1 year) and proceeded to bill me the entire thing without any notice or background. Would recommend any other management firm.

Negative experience: The absolute worst management company!!!! The common fees are completely criminal. Charging HOA prices you see at 1.5 million dollar condo units with state of the art gym equipment, pool and clubhouse. We do not have any of those amenities. *In response to the owner, you don’t get it I have reached out .. too many years of mismanaged money. We don’t want it spent on attorney hourly fees; managing our meetings, along with other misc attorney fees draining our money..no way!!! Years ago the management company conducted the meeting with the board only (IN PERSON) at a town hall or lobby; also counted budget meeting voting sheets in front of us), zoom calls do not work and on-site matters. We all pay for your services to manage, haven’t seen site visits at the condo property(I send pictures of concerns, they allow things to continue to happen) You Should have seen it it the day they sent a company to clean dryer vents(horrible and NOT a company that is careful, organized or a specialist in that department. They also didn’t care that some owners hired their own dryer vent ‘qualified professional’ so they could try and charge everyone. The property should be pristine with these prices, high priced building insurance company along with a premium that should have been changed many years ago. The building insurance Dropping the ball on ‘failing to provide adequate customer service, and essentially not fulfilling their duty to properly support their policyholders. The owners suffer. Unacceptable on all levels. I could write a book on so many concerns.

Negative experience: Think twice before you buy or lease a property managed by Imagineers. They’re a deceitful organization who will take advantage of their customers in the fine print of their contracts, to put money in their own pockets. We are in the Meadow Farms Condos in Farmington. As new homeowners, still getting settled, we were a month late submitting a receipt for our bi-annual chimney and dryer vent inspection. Imagineers issued a $750 fine, which increased by $25 every day until the inspection was complete. After several weeks of trying to ask for some grace and forgiveness, Imagineers offered to “meet us half way” on the egregious fine, just a couple weeks before Christmas. This is an organization who clearly doesn’t care about humans or their clients.

Positive experience: I wish I could get better housing through this program south Marshall st sucks full of rat and roaches. Then on top of all of this the neighbors are so inconsiderate. The walls are so thin you could hear a pin drop and the floors are uneven like I live on a hill. If the person over my head spills something, it runs down my walls. The street parking is unconvient I just need respectable and suitable housing for me and my children . This is not what you call home at all. I can’t even cook meals without a rat going for it 20 mins later. I have 3 small children and this just doesn’t cut it for me. It’s like living in a bad hotel. When I reach out to my worker which I have no clue who that person is, it takes weeks for a call back or no call at all. They just don’t care. It’s sad

Negative experience: This company is just completely irresponsible. Overseeing a medical building where patient care is so important clearly isn't important to them. This building is unsafe as not one but both elevators are not working. They have no one onsite to direct anyone. and the owner doesn't respond to emails looking for a update. There have been several cases where people needed assistance and could have fallen and Imagineers can care less. I even had a staff member say " I have more important things to due" Due yourself a favor. Do not use them. And if you do maybe you should do a audit on you building to see where all the money is going. Reading the reviews that clearly a common issue.

Negative experience: Angela is unprofessional and clearly doesn't respond to anyone in a timely manner or at all. Seems to be a running theme with imagineers. To think you can have a career and be paid to do nothing. Along with be rude to the people who live in a community that make it possible for you to be employed. Her behavior along with her attitude are unfounded and the fact that who ever her boss is continues to allow it is outragious. This woman is an adult and her behavior during a board meeting included laughing at residents, not responding to questions, cutting people off and muting them when she felt like it. Multiple community members called her out on her actions this evening. As a community we are upset and we want better! We deserve better! We pay alot of money in fees to live here. This is not okay and it is getting worse as time goes on. Stop cutting us off and stop behaving in such a manner or resign from this community! It seems she also retaliates when she doesn't like a resident. This isn't right and she needs to be held accountable.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been living at Griswold Hills Apartments for more than three years and from the beginning I noticed that Renee and Tom treat tenants well, are friendly, and very helpful. My garbage disposal was broken and I reported it to the office, and the next morning the whole disposal was replaced, and they called to make sure everything was working. Mr. Eric always starts each morning doing a tour of the complex to make sure everything is good. Everyone has been very professional.

Jen Tewani Published on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: If I knew then what I know now I never would have purchased a condo that was managed by Imagineers. They are unresponsive, unreasonable, and flat out rude. When there was a leak in the wall between two units (which we didn’t find out until after they told me it was from my unit and my plumber found it, and they’re trying to stick me with part of the bill) they had their plumber fix the leak and he left a hole between our two units! So between our two bathrooms you could see and hear everything. We placed plastic over both sides so that our tenant and the other tenants could use the bathroom in privacy. Who leaves a hole like that? I left multiple messages over the course of two days and had to keep hitting buttons to get to a live person who finally connected me with someone. Now we’re fighting over the plumbing bill because, as their rep so kindly told me, they told me it was a leak from my unit because they don’t have “Superman eyes” so how would they know it was coming from the wall? Apparently I was supposed to either a) have Superman eyes myself or b) not take them at their word when they said it was coming from my unit.

Negative experience: I currently Own and live in a Condo under responsibility of Imagineers LLC. I suffered a severe roof leak this winter and have yet to be able to repair the inside of my Condo due to the lack of communication and response to having the roof not only repaired but updated seeing it is past its life span. My interior Contractors can not begin work till the roof is addressed and properly taken care of. My Contractors will be unable to warranty and guarantee their work with the quality of the roof on my Condo. It's is not only past its life span but it is missing shingles in the areas that I have interior leak damage. The roofers sent out by imagineers that assessed the roof found it was past its life span. Replaced two vents that were original vents from when the condo was built in the 70s. As well as sealed two different boots that needed attention and were causing leaks. My condo hasn't been addressed or given the attention it needs so I can have my Contractors begin interior work. I'm very upset with the response and commitment to fulfilling the necessary needs and responsibilities this property management company is responsible to do. Since they won't communicate via email or phone. I hope this will gain their attention so I can have my life and residence back in order. 5 months and counting. Very upset and very dissatisfied.

Sheree Dolan Published on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Due to the mismanagement and horrific guidance of Imagineers, our complex has deteriorated to a level that will take years and years to recover from, if we can recover at all. Our reserves have also reached a catastrophic low. Imagineers contracts themselves for complex repairs which are substandard and result in the same repair needing to be redone. They also include an “ indemnity clause” in their contract so no matter what destruction they cause, they cannot be held accountable legally. This company is a danger to the future of any condo complex they manage. Avoid at all costs or suffer the consequences. We sure continue to suffer the consequences. UPDATE: In response to Imagineers’ response to my review….Your responses to every review here are nothing but rhetoric and smoke & mirrors. You are correct, your company no longer manages my complex. Unfortunately, the damage is done but……Thank God for huge miracles. You are finally just a bad bad memory.

Fantastic experience: The office Imagineers admins have been an absolute pleasure, largely due to having my issues and concerns addressed. Throughout my time here, especially amidst the challenges posed during by the COVID-19 pandemic, they have consistently gone above and beyond to address every concern promptly and effectively. Whether it's a minor maintenance issue or a more significant concern, their team is always just a phone call or email away. Even during the height of the pandemic when many businesses were struggling to maintain operations, they remained dedicated and kept residents informed about any developments, whether it's regarding property maintenance, upcoming events, or changes in policies. Especially with keeping our children safe, as there have been reckless drivers in the property that don't keep to the speed limit. Every staff member I've interacted with has been courteous, knowledgeable, and committed to providing the best possible service. We are all human, so I understand that sometimes things happen that are outside their control, but I've had nothing but a great experience thus far.

Diane, We understand that you’ve been contending with repeated issues with leaks in your unit stemming from your neighbors faulty plumbing and how frustrating that can be. From what we can gather, however, our staff responded appropriately and in a timely manner to the issues. They advised you via phone and/or email of the situation and how it was to be dealt with. Some of this information included the fact that you, as the unit owner, are responsible for some portion of the repair, as per the condominium association documents - which is news you likely were unhappy to hear, but is not something we as the management company have any control over. The Property Manager for your community would be happy to discuss your concerns further if needed. Please call Rachael at 860-768-3321.

Negative experience: I could not be more unhappy with the performance of this firm. These people manage my condo development. Recently, my condo sustained damage due to a storm. I have been trying to work with them to see that this is repaired, since the damage is covered by the condo association. In the ensuing 2.5 months: 1) NOT ONCE has a person I called answered the phone; 2) Only once did I get a call back within 24 hours; 3) I have been given stories that are, at best, inconsistent; 4) I have NEVER gotten a voluntary call giving me an update on what is going on and even now, I have no idea where the repairs stand, other than I know that at least half of them have not been done; 5) in spite of my repeatedly telling them that I am under time pressure to get the problems resolved, the people have never shown the slightest interest in helping me. In short. they have been completely incompetent, at best. I would never hire them or recommend them to do anything. I have to give them one star but would give zero if this was allowed. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE TO MANAGE ANYTHING.

Negative experience: We bought our condo almost 4 years ago and every year since we have moved our HOA fees has increased! Every year all of the homeowners vote on weather to increase the fees or not. I find it very hard to believe that people have voted to increase our fees 4 years in a row. I have never seen the results if these so called votes. When we moved in our HOA fees were $300. Now they are over $500! The services has not changed. In fact the HOA is doing less now than when we first bought our condo. The landscaping didnt come for weeks last spring and summer and and it only snowed once last year. Our pool hours are limilted and is constantly closing. What are we paying 500 a month for!? We will be selling and moving out and never buying anything associated with imagineers.

Negative experience: As a landlord imagineers is very frustrating. It’s difficult to get ahold of anyone, the departments are so disconnected and unorganized. most of the workers have no professionalism and they are not reasonable at all. We will of course continue to use imagineers but they need to seriously work on their program. I find the town housing authorities so much easier to work with and they respond in a timely manner to issues. They also do not fail you for minor things. I understand repairs but abating rent over a minor stain in the ceiling and then prorating it is Just not reasonable. Normally, you abate rent and then once it’s fixed full payment is released. Instead, imagineers deducts from the payment altogether and only gives back a portion even though the tenant has full right to enjoyment of the premises. Yasmin, I believe her name is, is the only nice employee I’ve spoken to over there thus far. But she’s new so give her 6 months working there and I bet she’ll be as miserable as the rest.

But since then (and since a number of critical Google reviews came out!) they've improved considerably. They are now very responsive to customer inquiries, and on many occassions they have helped set up meetings or calls to address the most minor of issues that have come up with the HOA. They've improved considerably in my book, and I've upgraded my rating to reflect their good work.

Fantastic experience: People say many things about this place and so many of those things said just aren't true ! When people seek help in housing etc ... They forget that the work has to be done . They supply the tools , but you have to want to do the foot work ! Yes I would love if it were easier, but it's not just like nothing in life is ! You have to make things happen on your end , and please people stop thinking that just because those ladies at the desk aren't smiling all the time , that they aren't friendly, they are there trying to do their jobs and to not get attached to every case that comes in ! If they did then I'm sure they would never get anything done , and people would literally start throwing them under the bus for favoritism ! Stop acting like y'all don't know how people can be when you help too much , they take advantage instead of setting boundaries for themselves ! I laugh with them whenever I go to the office and we all keep it short and sweet and very professional on their behalf ! But I don't expect that every time I go there . That's their place of work, not a hangout spot ! And I completely respect it ! I see the complaints, I think I've been here first hand and my response is always the same relax , sit down locate an area you want to live in , and call , text , email and be assertive if you want to live there , because that's the role you play in seeking housing ! And give the ladies a break , because I'm sure that with them seeing up front & personal how many people are in need & also their stories , already affects them in so many emotional ways ! Why make it harder on them at work especially when their work is so vital and necessary in our community ! So my advice is to get started on finding that special new home that's going to be affordable to live in because there are a group of unselfish humans working hard to make it happen ! The least we can do is meet them halfway and show some honor and respect ! And now I'm done lol !!! Congratulations to whomever has received a voucher I'm excited for you and your family and I hope your new home is as beautiful and amazing as mine is to me !!!

Negative experience: Bought a unit back in Nov. where all windows should have been fixed before i even moved in. That did not happen, have left countless emails and called countless times every month. It is now june and nothing has changed. I was promised in april someone would come out to measure and schedule new windows but it is now june and i honestly think this company is trying to ignore getting the job done. And they are not professional when speaking to over the phone. 6 month update- I was quoted 16-18 weeks back on june 28th for window replacement. And still nothing. Even stated twice, when it rains the cracks in the window is letting in the water in and going onto my carpet. Management has not responded nor cared about that.

Update: Nathalia, as noted in email exchanges with you and our team, your community’s Board of Directors, not Imagineers, manages the vendors for the window repairs directly and they have been making efforts to get the repair scheduled. The window manufacturer is causing delays in getting them shipped and installed. For any additional concerns regarding this or other community matters, please reach out to the Property Manager, John LaGattuta, directly at 860-768-3350. Thank you.

Nathalia, it is our understanding your community’s Board of Directors manages the vendors for the window repairs directly and they have been making efforts to get the repair scheduled. We also understand that our staff has regularly communicated with you regarding the status. Unfortunately, there are many issues at play, given the current state of the world, that have been stalling out repairs of all kinds. Based on the information provided your repairs should be forthcoming in the near future. Your continued patience is appreciated. For any additional concerns regarding this or other community matters, please reach out to the Property Manager, John LaGattuta, directly at 860-768-3350. Thank you.

Negative experience: As I read the reviews I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. Never want to seem ungrateful for being blessed to receive help but at the end of the day we are still humans and deserve respect! I know a couple of people in my building that almost got evicted for the workers mistake and they all had the same worker I be scared to switch because who’s to say the next isn’t the same when you walk on the office and they all have nasty attitude no matter how respectful you are!
