Negative experience: Extremely slow or no response to repair requests. Strongly request the Board get bids for a new property manager.
Negative experience: I have used their app Town Square, which seems to be their preferred method of contact, over 20 days ago, twice to reach them. Nobody has responded. I have called the office multiple times, they still have the "out of office due to unprecedented times" as a voicemail and NOBODY ever answers. I have left 2 voice messages, nobody has called me back. I sent an email asking for a call, they emailed me because...why would they call now that I am frustrated at their overwhelming lack of care for thought to respond. They are the worst. I get it though. They make money regardless. They don't have to be either at the top or on top of their game. Doesn't matter to them regardless, they get paid either way.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with The Prescott Companies who managed our complex within Winding Walk. I had reached out to Michael Mae about termite spraying at our property and it was confirmed that The Prescott Companies would pay for the cost. I have emails about this arrangement, from back in December 2024. After submitting the invoice in January 2025, I followed up multiple times and each time, I was told it was still processing or some other excuse. In April, I was told the check was mailed out but it never materialized. It's now May and I know I'm not going to see a dime of this payment and I'm not interested in continuing to hear lies and excuses from this company. They are dishonest and do not follow through on agreements.

Negative experience: Good luck ever getting a response from them. Have been reaching out to them for 3 months to get a parking permit and they don't answer their phones, ignore your emails and the customer service reps just refer you to people who also ignore you. 1.5 year update: Customer service responded to my review. If anyone is wondering if reaching out to customer service yeilded any results, no it did not. They did nothing as usual, just referred me back to the manager and assistant manager who don't answer calls. They finally fired their manager and hired a new one who promised that he would finally get us a permit. He went dark after having us fill out a ton of paper work. I wish I was shocked about how incompetent this company is but I'm not. 2 years, they were not capable of getting us a parking permit. Reached out to people above the manager in corporate, below, everyone is useless. Weak, incompetent HOA company.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely unreachable. I’ve tried contacting Prescott Companies through both email and phone—no one replies, and no one answers. They insisted I submit an architectural application and attend a hearing just because I changed a front door deadbolt—something I did before they even took over as the management company. I understand things can get lost in the transition, so I resubmitted the application. Eight months later, they came back saying I never submitted it and told me to start over again. I provided clear evidence showing that I already submitted everything, yet they still insisted on a hearing. I’ve made every effort to work with them, but they’ve been completely unresponsive. This has dragged on for months, and it’s been incredibly frustrating over something as minor as a single deadbolt. Maybe it’s too much to ask to be able to actually reach a property management company.

Negative experience: Not sure how people may rate this management company positively. We are paying several hundred dollars a month as HOA fees, and we get a very bad service in return. They do not properly respond to requests, and sometimes they do not respond at all for many days. They work a couple of hours per day only. It is almost impossible to reach them by phone. There are no proactive actions from their side. For example, USPS changed locks in the community mailbox. This HOA not only did not notify the affected owners, but they made it hard to get replacement keys. I wish I were more careful in choosing the property with such HOA.

Negative experience: If you are looking for an property management company to run your neighborhood...choose a different one. They do not acknowledge phone calls or emails. I made one HOA overpayment last February and after a dozen or more calls and emails I still have yet to receive a refund. It has now been over a year. Also not responsive to maintenance issues or any issues for that matter. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Talk to Ruben Johnathan, the customer service was not the greatest. I was trying to figure out why my car was towed. he said it was past the time limit, which is not stated on any of the signs in the parking lot when I asked to speak to his manager, he proceeded to hang the phone up on me. Horrible customer service. I hope I never have to speak to Ruben Jonathan again

Project Delays: The restoration project has been significantly delayed, with no clear or reliable timeline for completion. This inefficiency has caused widespread frustration and inconvenience for homeowners. Positive experience: EDIT: raising it up to 3 stars because they did reach out and apologized but it shouldn't have happened and it wasn't the first time. Hope they keep improving. Absolutely terrible experience. They were supposed to repair some loose siding on the exterior of my home. It's been over four months and I haven't heard anything from them and they won't respond to my follow-up emails.

Negative experience: ZERO STARS. I had the unfortunate opportunity to work with this company through the sale of my clients property which this company manages their HOA. When dealing with this unprofessional company be prepared to have little to no response from them. When reaching out to their "Customer Sevice" they just send you in circles when reconnecting you with their property managers who doesn't respond to any of your inquires in the first place. ADVICE: Do better as a company, especially when people are paying you to manage their properties.

Negative experience: Do it hire them. They are grossly negligent with their fiduciary responsibilities. I had a leak in my garage that took over a week for them to respond to. When they finally got a company to come out and inspect, two weeks passed and the company reached out to me saying that Prescott is ghosting them. They never respond to their mobile app. In the last HOA meeting when their lack of responsiveness was addressed their supervisor said “sorry you feel that way” and then peaced out of the meeting. Avoid them and anyone that has Prescott on their resume as job experience.

Negative experience: Moved in for 6-7 weeks. I couldn’t use the pool at all still as I speak. I called and left many messages and emails but get no response at all. I paid the HOA but I couldn’t even use what I paid for. No response for weeks. I even got my agent and the escrow to involve. Until my agent wanted to speak to the owner then they finally answered the phone. What’s a horrible service and poor management. I would give it a 0 star review if it was an option.

Negative experience: I am extremely frustrated with this company. Their service is appalling, and they have consistently failed to address or resolve any of my issues. Back in March of last year, I was informed that my home’s deadbolt had been upgraded without approval, and I was told that I needed to fill out a form and have my neighbor sign it. I promptly obtained and submitted all the required documents via email the very next day. Since then, I’ve been haunted by the same problem. Every few months, I receive identical notifications claiming that my deadbolt was upgraded without approval. I don’t understand why this keeps happening when I’ve already submitted everything from the start. Over the past year, I’ve sent at least ten emails to the community asking why, despite providing all the necessary information, I continue to receive these requests. However, none of my emails have been answered. I’ve also left multiple voicemail messages, but my calls have never been returned. It’s clear that this company only cares about collecting payments and has no interest in providing customer support or resolving issues. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Negative experience: I contacted Prescot through the mail, sending a request for a parking permit replacement along with the $100 fee. I followed up with an email to customer service. That was ,August 16th, now nearly a month later I have heard nothing, despite several email requests for status since then. I can't believe the HOA contracted with this company with my money. They are non responsive, and lack common courtsey.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing an issue with a large 40 year old tree and it's root system that sending it's roots and new growth shoots into my yard and lifting my block planter walls and cracking and breaking the walls as well as starting a new tree at the base of the fence line. I contacted Lori Smith @ Prescott Management . Lori was quick to help and contacted Elias the arborist who works for Park West our landscaping service. Elias was quick to respond, and his recommendation was the removal of the tree. After the board approval it is now in the process of being completed. I wanted to say, THANK YOU!!! to all involved with this process including Bonnie Watkins @ Prescott, and the board for making this happen.

Negative experience: Just awful response time mismanaging Vista de Vista account (Sara L. Davis and Lori Smith). You have to call/email everyday just to get a response several weeks later. Least this is making me and our fellow HOA members band together because Prescott needs to go. Stay away, DO NOT let them manage your HOA. Our building is deteriorating with termites.

Negative experience: I have had a bad experience with this awful management company. I still waiting for them to resolve a problem that they caused due to the bad maintenance landscaping. Mr Raul was aware of all the time about this issue never took seriously my demand, and always blamed other organizations for all the trees that damaged my fence as a result wild animals came to my patio and destroyed my AC I still dealing with this problem no one cares.

Negative experience: My experience in dealing with Prescott Management Companies and its affiliate companies (Townsquare) have been to say the least extremely frustrating and inordinately time consuming. I have been shuffled from staff member to staff member, website to website and put on hold trying to establish my HOA accounts of which there are two! Property management staff are unaware of how various facets of the company work. It would be helpful if staff assigned to support customers knew how the system works and integrates into other platforms or billing formats.

Negative experience: I express my deep dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs regarding our home association Prescott Companies. As a home owner, I have observed a concerning pattern of high association charges coupled with a notable decline in the quality of services provided. Firstly, the charges levied by the association have escalated to an unreasonable extent. This has created an undue financial burden on residents like myself. Moreover, the level of service provided by the association has plummeted. Attempts to contact the association via phone have proven futile, as calls often go unanswered and messages remain unreturned. This lack of responsiveness not only reflects poorly on the association's professionalism but also leaves residents feeling neglected. As a member of the community, I implore the board to take action to rectify these shortcomings. This includes improving communication channels, and prioritizing resident concerns. I trust that you will address these issues with the urgency and seriousness they warrant. Fantastic experience: My wife lost our van Honda key but was found and sent to Prescott Companies, and I just wanted to thank Lucas for going the extra mile (and even paying $5 postage) for getting that back to us, much appreciated! They took over our Riverpoint HOA this past December after going through 2 HOA companies past 14 years and we finally found one that is timely to get things done, great communication, transparent and everyone here is happy with. Negative experience: This company owes me $415 for months, following my sale of a unit in one of the properties they manage. My realtor and myself have contacted them multiple times. And multiple times they have lied, basically saying "the check is in the mail." Now they are just ghosting us. Aside from hiring a lawyer or going to small claims court I really just don't know what else I can do. Beware of them!!!! I will likely file a report with the BBB.
Negative experience: This is the worst company ever for returning phone calls and for answering inquiries made by property owners. No one is ever in his/her office apparently and the “urgent issue” number is the customer service number that reconnects you to phone messages from every community manager. The Prescott company is either too large or extremely indifferent and certainly is not serving its residents well.

Negative experience: Terrible/almost non-existent communication and follow through. Good luck getting them to call back. Instead they lied to my condo property management company trying to get me in hotwater with my landlord. They seem to do the basics fine like collecting your money and keeping the property mostly decent. God forbid you need them to do something that takes a little personal effort unless you are ready to have to do multiple phone calls over days and days stalker style to get them to actually follow through on basic tasks. So glad we are done with them. Avoid like the plague. Update 2/21 Hah so get this, these "management" clowns want to charge $400 for a bulk item pickup (some couches), and you can't schedule it direct with the waste mgmt company who will only bill like $60 (account locked have to go through prop mgr). What a joke. I will take care of it myself for far cheaper than $400. Still no call back after multiple messages and attempts to get this easy request handled properly. These people are quick to send threatening letters instead of just calling and working things out amicably like adults. Not sure how these guys got their rating so good on Google Maps but if you read their Yelp reviews they are bottom of the barrel.

Negative experience: Prescott companies- An Associa company is the absolute worst HOA management company that I have encountered in my 20 years as a condo owner. The assigned community manager is not responsive to issues and questions. Impossible to get a live person on the phone when calling their general office number. They will gladly their cut of your HOA management fees but not actually do the work for it. The coupon book they supposedly mailed for 2024 has no coupons for any months except the past December 2023. Like what the heck …is this a joke. Also every recorded and online communication points for owners to use the townsq app/ website, but that’s also not fully functional.

Negative experience: This company is inefficient and non customer friendly. After working to show them necessary paperwork for months and providing it for them on multiple occasions, they still refused to correctly identify the correct course of action. I highly doubt they even were working to correct it, rather they took the path of least resistance and continued to fall back on the original mistake. This lack of effort on their end resulted in the threat of a lean on the property for their mistake. If you can, never use this company. Ultimately, in the end, I had to make the same payment twice and they collected the same payment twice, double dipping into my account for the same fee. This company stole an extra payment from me and refused to remedy the situation. If I had time to take to small claims court I would. They have taken advantage of me and my situation and have bullied their way to stealing a payment from me.

Negative experience: Horrible HOA I have contacted the HOA numerous times over three weeks of a dog barking different times day and night. Nothing has happened. Useless everyone just has to endure a dog barking everyday day and night!

Negative experience: The account receive department service has been vary concerning and inadequate. It is the third time they cleared my monthly HOA check without crediting my account. I have spent hours of time and effort investigating this with my bank as well talking to customer service. For each and every time, my bank was able to show proof of cleared check. What does it mean if an account receive department keeps failing to receive funds? Update 11/6/2023 It is also takes more than two months for the company to send out a refund check for overpayment. I am guessing this also belongs to the account payable/receivable department.

Fantastic experience: This is the best management company that we have had in my 21 years as a resident of Promenade at La Costa. Cameron Gonzales is note worthy because he responds to problems as if they were his own.

Negative experience: We called their office to reserve two parking spots for our moving containers a day ahead. They gave the permits without any reservation. Next day the VP of their HOA David Goodwin had the boxes towed despite us having the permit numbers, told UHaul that the permit was subject to approval from the “board”. Why weren’t we notified of this clause while booking? we could have easily delayed box drop off to a date “the board” approved. The tow yard charged us $2200 for towing! And there is not a single person in this organization that explained their awful behavior. This company should be sued for their mismanagement! Lack of communication, complete lack of work ethics and professional courtesy! they should be sued for the number of times they have caused us emotional trauma. They have parked their maintenance vehicles right in front of our garage for the whole day, I’ve had to go by Uber or pick my kids on foot because of their lack of ethics. This organization is composed of Incompetent and negligent individuals.

Negative experience: Your response is too, too too slow. No body likes your way to do business. Your staff answer to my neighbor: if painting same color, owner does not need to file application. I spent 3 months, no answer yet. HOA President Mike told me AUG 1st Board approved my application. But you did not response.

Negative experience: I emailed to them 3 times until they responded back to me then they did not answer my simple question so I had to call more than 3 times for the last 2 weeks. Their service is extremely slow and very poor communication and service. Entire mailboxes for the community have been out of order for a while as a result US Post Office stopped delivering mails for entire community's for a couple weeks and obviously this issue was addressed to HOA but there is no action from this company and the entire mailboxes have not been fixed while this company is collecting HOA fees every month from the resident of the community. I have never experienced this kind of poor service and negligence and it's very unfortunate to see this kind of thing happens in our community and this country. Something is very wrong with this company.

Negative experience: Community managers don't respond to emails, don't provide clear answers or a plan. They always defer to the Board which is a way to not provide information. Mismanagment which has resulted in the decline of my community over decades. So sad. Inefficient company.

The woman in the office that I spoke to was such a good listener, showing compassion for the situation, and then turning to her supervisor on the phone for that woman’s decision. Fantastic experience: We recently moved from one condo in Veridian Circle to another slightly bigger one that has a suite on the first floor and a patio with a really nice view. This created a problem, though: our transponders and gate code stopped working. Upon receiving my request, Jenna Dever responded right away. I talked to her over the phone, met and chatted with her in her office, and exchanged a few emails with her. Thanks to her hard work we've received new transponders and new gate code so we can fully enjoy living in Veridian Circle again!

Negative experience: Do not use this management group. They violated the Davis sterling act via the VP telling the property manager to do so. They violated the act to let a board member get her friend a seat on the board. They do very shady things. Even giving proof. The president does not care. Only use if you want to get back doored when things don’t go their way.

Negative experience: This company is shady. They are unresponsive, do not follow through with requests, and hide things from the homeowners. If you want to see financials or other important documents, including meeting minutes, best of luck. Perhaps you’ll see them in 6 months. There are several other issues and too many to mention. This of course is only related to to the Rancho Bernardo Office. I cannot speak for the other locations.

Negative experience: They are the company you do not want managing your home. Unprofessional and unavailable to say the least. I have even resorted to copy in prescott companies president Paola Scrimsher and their customer service emails but this does not change a thing. This company does not lookout for Home Owners best interests go with anyone but them!

Negative experience: Terrible. Communication is awful. You can never get a hold of anyone via telephone and they strive to wait the full 30 days to approve anything even when identical approvals have been made on other homes. When I questioned what’s taking so long and why am I not getting any feedback I was told that I the home owner need to account for their sick calls and influx of emails. They’re holding up homeowners upgrades and solar approvals because of their inadequate staffing. Avoid Prescott management if you’re able. They’re absolute trash.

Negative experience: I am a homeowner at 4S Ranch. I had an improvement project completed all per process, and the Notice of Completion was approved on 7/28/22. After repeated in-person and email inquiries, I still have not received the refund of my deposit for the application. Only after I sent in the demand letter as a preparation to take it to the small claims court, I got an email indicating the refund would be issued in 4-6 weeks. That would take it to 5 month! This kind of service is totally not acceptable!
Negative experience: While on the surface Prescott Companies "seems" to care; in fact they do not. As a HOA Management Company, their job is to take care of their customers, in this case the homeowners. However, after numerous friendly emails & phone calls, there was NO follow up, no action, no response. Only after the 4th or 5th email, highlighted in red that this was a duplicate response, did I receive a follow up & acknowledgement. However the response was just a generic canned response. Other HOA Management Companies are more responsive to their homeowners & do in fact care more for their customers through their actions. There is an old saying, "Actions speak louder than words".
Fantastic experience: We received HOA violation notices. Marc returned my phone call promptly, easy to communicate with, professional and very helpful to resolve the violations.

Fantastic experience: Prescott companies was chosen to work with our HOA at Harmony Grove Village in Escondido and my husband and I were hoping for a marked change after our last company. Since working with Ingrid, Liliana and Sara we’ve noticed our trails are much better maintained. Inherently everyone runs into community issues, and the communication to homeowners through townsquare is stellar! In fact, This past month I needed a review for improvements to my yard with a tight timeline. Liliana was on top of it minutes after I sent my request. She went above and beyond to respond to my follow up questions after hours (which I was not expecting). Very very pleased with the Prescott Team!

Fantastic experience: Called this morning to ask for proof of HOA payments, Joy was an absolute pleasure to speak to. She got me the information that I needed super fast and was glad to answer any questions that I had. She is a great asset to Prescott.
Fantastic experience: Joy B. assisted me yesterday with some statements that I needed immediately, but could not access on my own. She assisted me quickly and made sure I had access to the needed statements. Not only was she quick to provide me with what I needed, she was very polite and patient.
Negative experience: The company has consistently raised association fees while simultaneously cutting services. The board members are out of control and rude. Tenants receive no assistance from this company. They refer us back to the Board members while making excuses for their behavior without the benefit of any investigation taking place. Tenants are regulated to being seen and not represented. We no longer have security, I don’t recall a financial update being sent out to advise tenants of where the money allotted for security is now being utilized. This company is completely unresponsive to the communities it serves. Gates consistently broken, lights out all with rising fees. They take the money and hide.
