Fantastic experience: We stayed in grand Canaria Pascal home which was very nice. But Be aware of security deposit which they charge you! It took numerous phone calls, texts and emails to get it returned!

Negative experience: The flat was not cleaned well. Under the bed where a lot of rice and the whole floor was very dirty. I had wear only socks and after a few hours there where black! I had cleaned the flat myself. The door of the second bedroom cannot be closed, because the bed is too long. Next to house where the flat is located, is a huge construction zone, they had removed a house and construct their a new one. This problem would be not necessary if CG had informed us in forefront. As I had told them that, they told me that they had forgotten, that there is a construction zone. Aha! The CG office is next to that construction zone approx. 100m. I had told them about the dirty flat, but nothing happens. As I had cleaned it myself, they told me they had done that if I had said something. Very bad service from CG, I rent always flats because I don’t like Hotels but never get such a bad service. Response to E-Mails once a day, rarely reaction over WhatsApp, no reaction over the chat of their webpage. After I had asked for a refund because of these problems, they had offer me only a late check out, I had asked for more but never received an answer. They had replay to the mail with the late check out offer, to remember me that I must leave at the normal time. You should better book over Airbnb so you have more options to get your money back, and I am sure you will receive a better service. Better you choose someone else then CG. Negative experience: I stayed at Calle Dr. Grau Bassas 38, Las Palmas in the studio named Basalto. The cleaning upon arrival was very poor - floors were dirty. Also there were sand and dust under the rug at the couch. I asked for a vacuum cleaner which was missing and they brought it, fortunately. I used it immediately and it was full of dirt and hair. The studio had experienced some water damage previously I assume, as there were large stains on the ceiling and walls near the bed and in the shower. It was very noisy and dusty every working day and on most Saturdays throughout the whole day because there is a construction side just across the street - that also made opening the windows impossible, especially in the bathroom with vehicle exhaust fumes coming in from the big trucks and other machinery. Also at night it sometimes got loud because of guests in the nearby night clubs. The mattress was comfortable but I only got one set of towels and bed sheets for 2 people. When I washed the towels I had no spare ones to use. I asked for another set but they never replied. The washer/dryer is one machine and it took up to 7 hours to wash and dry a load of towels. Not easy to time that into one’s day. The size of the studio is ok for 1 person but two people feel cramped especially the washbasin area is too compact.

Positive experience: Excellent experience. We had a problem with the water heater. Thank you to Saúl, the maintenance manager, for his dedication, speed, and efficiency. Thank you very much, Saúl.

Negative experience: It is a company that has no compassion at all. I wanted to stay for 3 nights in one of their apartments. What happened was that my flight was canceled due to the amount of snow that fell in Germany. When I called the office, the woman who answered told me that nothing could be done until Monday. On Monday, I called the office again and they told me it was too late to refund my money and that if I had canceled the reservation, it would have been possible, although the woman on the phone told me that for now nothing could be done. Instead of taking responsibility for the false information they gave me, they blamed me. I asked them if at least they could refund me the cleaning fee because there was nothing to clean, and they read it but never responded. That is outrageous!!!

Negative experience: I rented an apartment a month ago, and I still haven't received my deposit back. It's shameful and not serious at all. (I paid the deposit via transfer and I'm still waiting... thank you for looking into my case please)

Negative experience: We found the room dirty, with the used sheets and towels from the previous tenants, and the toilet had not been cleaned. So instead of resting, we had to leave so they could come and clean. When we returned late in the afternoon, all the food we had brought for our 3-day stay, worth approximately €50, had been taken. So, besides the financial loss, we had to go out shopping again instead of being able to rest for a while. The person who attended us via WhatsApp (the only way to contact the company) told us that they would not compensate us for the food because it is normal for the cleaning staff to think it belongs to the previous tenants; and that for the time we could not spend in the room and the inconvenience caused, they also would not compensate us because we did not end up having to spend any night out. More than two days after leaving the apartment in perfect condition, I still have not received back the €100 deposit that I had to pay before entering. They have not given me any reason for that. This adds to the fact that during all the time that has passed since the incidents on the day of the entry to the apartment (it has been 5 days), no one has contacted me to offer even an apology. Absolutely shameful treatment we have received from Canarias Getaway; which we are still suffering, because they neither return my deposit nor give me an explanation.

Negative experience: Honestly, I don’t know where to start the comment... Whether it's about the little communication with them or the fact that I had to buy bottles of water to shower. I UNDERSTAND that water cuts are unforeseen, but when paying for the nights (not cheap at all), they should offer a solution. 24 hours without water without any help. In fact, I’m still waiting for them to respond since the day of the water cut. The other days, the shower had a jet of water that was embarrassing... The kitchen they offer has almost nothing to make it practical, and they don’t have (salt, oil, kitchen paper, soap, or anything similar). They give a set of towels for 6 days and don’t change them, as well as 3 rolls of toilet paper for 6 days... The apartment was also dirty. A complete disaster.

Fantastic experience: We booked with canarias getaway last week and it's been fabulous. The apartment was nice and big and basically had everything we needed. The location was ideal for us, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance as we didnt want to get buses. The bed was comfy, the apartment was nice and clean, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The beach was just in front of us, and we spent most of our days there. Also great customer service and attendance with check in. great vacation and will be using getaway again!!!

Fantastic experience: Hemos alquilado la casa rural Los Matos en Valleseco, el sitio es encantador y el trato muy atento. Nos hemos quedado un fin de semana en 4 personas, los espacios son comodos y la casa es una joya, en el interior como en los espacios exteriores. Muy bien organizada en herramientas y cada detalle. Hemos necesitado comunicarnos con los gestores y aunque fuese día de fiesta han sido rapido y amables. Muy aconsejado.

Not only the great view, the hours of sunshine it gets, it's also situated in a quiet spot. The place was very clean and is well equiped. A great place to stay. The bungalow in San Bartolomé de Tirajana had a great terrace and access to a nice pool and tennis court. We were in walking distance of many shops, resturants and the beach. Negative experience: CANARIASTAYAWAY - We rented an apartment on Calle Almansa (Las Canteras). The apartment had a great location and fast internet so we were very pleased. However, after sleeping there we noticed bites and that it started to itch, we contacted Canarias Getaway about that we had an issue with some bug in the apartment (and also ants, lots of ants). They went there to check up what it could be but instead just pointed out that we hadn't brushed off the sand from our shoes after coming in from the beach enough. The itching and bites became worse and after lifting the bed sheets we noticed that the apartment was infested with BED BUGS! Contacted Canarias Getaway, they did not believe it was bed bugs at first and instead said it must be something we brought in from the beach. Which is just ridiculous. We had to go though all our clothes and stuff extensively and run it through the dryer to kill the bed bugs, Canarias Getaway got us a new apartment. Ok, great. Not as good of a location and a lot darker. the thing with this apartment that they did not tell us about was that it had construction work going on all day, >65 dB throughout the working day (working remote). So much noise that the coffee cup was vibrating. Also, we also noticed that they put out the BED BUG apartment for rent right away again... They should have offered us some type of compensation since we lost a lot of vacation days and were not able to work but instead had to deal with moving and sanitizing clothes to make sure we did not get the bed bugs with us. What brings the review up from a one star is that they at least were willing to find new places for us and answered the text messages. They should rename the company to Canarias stay away.

Negative experience: PÉSIMA GESTIÓN. Alquilamos una casita en el Puerto de Agaete a través de House Trip y nos atendieron en esta agencia. La casita era según se había comentado pero no estaba equipada para un alquiler. Faltaban sabanas, toallas, utensilios de cocina y para terminar el congelador y la lavadora estaban rotos. Nos pusimos en contacto con ellos y tardaron 3 días en enviar un reparador que no pudo hacer nada pues ambos electrodomésticos tenian que ser sustituidos. Nos fuimos sin que nos dieran una solución. Muy descontenta con el servicio. No recomiendo esta agencia.

Fantastic experience: Nosotros nos quedamos en los apartamentos de Playa del Águila y estuvimos muy a gusto. Queríamos descansar y la peque quería piscina, así que todos cubrimos nuestros objetivos. Además los apartamentos estaban superlimpios, con una decoración moderna, con todos los pequeños electrodomésticos que se necesitan para un finde y muy luminoso...que a mi eso me da vida...Así que lo recomiendo!!!
