Experiencia fantástica: Easy folks to work with. Did apartment/house moveout cleanings for them 2020-2022. Unfortunately after 3 years they decided my prices were too high although I never raised them. Maybe we can do business again in the future.

Experiencia negativa: Neighbors would SLAM doors at all hours of the night/day. Stealing mail & beating on doors with demands. THEY DID NOTHING!!! Maintenance requests were never finalized. Used space heaters in the winter sleeping in the living room. Was told that I could not have a door cam because it would STOP the madness. I bought 2 and could not use them. Was told that I could NOT have any pets. Went to pickup old mail & the new leaser had 3 dogs running around. There was NO laundry room & homeless people would shoot up & pass out in there. I took pics before I called the police. I was told they were going to do a "Sweep" that never happened. I called their office & told them I was scared of the violence & they did NOTHING. My body stayed in constant PANIC MODE living there. I didn't even stay the whole lease. I paid it offf & started living a real life. It's like this place was a confined HELL for 12 moths & the office people took pleasure in the pain.

Experiencia negativa: Pure incompetence and very unprofessional! They “mistakenly” listed my property for rent!!!! I was notified they were entering my rental in 30 min so I called to tell them there was a hugh mistake! They responded by being rude and not even checking on their error! The potential renters had fortunately cancelled or they told me they were entering my premises, with my dogs on site, even though it was due to their incompetence!! Mikayla is more caught up in her baby momma drama than caring about the rentals or tenants! Run…don’t walk away from these clowns!

Experiencia negativa: Don't rent from these people. They're criminals. Me and my wife rented a house from them when we're moving from Michigan to Nebraska. The day we got to Nebraska and seen the home we were horrified he was infested with mice and cockroaches drug paraphernalia. It was disgusting and dirty. It stunk something horrible. The next day I went to the office and asked for my money back. They told me that they were keeping the money but they'd let me out of my lease. These people stoled our money

Experiencia negativa: Do not rent here. Two months after I signed a one year lease, they informed me that the owners would be moving in in three months, and that I needed to move out. While I was willing to be bought out of my contract with them, they acted as though it was my responsibility to bend to what they wanted to do. After a month and a half of emailing back-and-forth, we finally came up with an agreement and I was to move out a month and a half later. While we did come to agreement, it was still less than what I would have to pay if I wanted to buy myself out of the lease. About two weeks after this, I was informed the homeowners changed their plans and that we would continue with finishing my original lease. At this point, I had spent a ton of time and money and had found a new place to live. Now I just want out of their house and to be done with their antics. But if I do not continue with the original lease they plan to take me to court.

Experiencia negativa: Lived at 1136 g st since 2020 and still don't have correctly working windows in living room had multiple maintenance guys through parts at them but it's been a temporary fix the damn things need completely replaced but they won't do it for whatever reason plus we don't have a working laundry machine going on for almost a year now stay away from renting this place if possible and after years of dealing with cock roaches in my apartment the nasty neighbor across the hallway got kicked out and roaches gone now but took years to get to that point even called city health department and they sent a guy over and gave me suggestions to keep them under control

Experiencia negativa: The guy who showed me the dirty apartment was not friendly. The company also didn't have the decency to call and tell me I didn't get the apartment, they sent it via email. And a $45 application fee for something that costs them around $20/mo. is just greedy.

Experiencia negativa: The first time I steppped foot into the apartment , the Lincoln police department yelled "come on outta there!" I had to allow them in to speak with my partner and verify tenancy. I shoveled the walkways and salt and sanded it all winter. I fixed the signs in the parking lot to receive a complaint about "removing other tenants signs!?" I picked the trash out of the flower beds and bought mulch for spring. Im mowing today Ill keep you posted on my reprimands for todays actions? The police have been called so many times their ready to file charges for fictitous filing/false reporting as all of this resulted in no infraction. The party who continues terrorizing the complex? Arrested for stabbing a police officer. Rent wisely. Nothing slanderous, no smir campaign. Injustice is standard operating procedure here.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had just small problems that maintenance came and fixed right away. My bathroom sink had a leak and caused water damage. Instead of just fixing the leak the maintenance guy replaced the whole bottom piece that was water damaged as well! Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: This rental company may be a great choice if you are the land owner. HOWEVER their treatment of tenants is absolutely absurd. Water heater ruptures in the basement, no worries we will get to it in 3+ days. Zero concern about the situation. Zero communication with us. Maintenance department is a joke. Office staff a joke. They use a digital app for managing and get confused when you call them on the phone because. Also, enjoy paying additional extra fees just for paying rent, real cool payment system. I await their response. I appreciate your attempt at a PR response. What's the difference between a ruptured tank and a leaky tank? Did you really try that? Let me ask, who called who? We initiated EVERY part of communication. Every follow up call. No communication came from your office. Not a single call. Shall we publicly air all the dirty laundry from our rental experience? Clear the air for ya? Take the loss on your customer service. You are an owner oriented company, not tenants. It's okay to be that way.if you have issues with my review, you have my number, dial up.

All the Staff at Realty Works, where kind, very caring about my needs, and any maintenance issues where always handled in a time worthy fashion. I'm so pleased with my unit. I've planted 70 bulbs this fall can't wait to see what my yard looks like this Spring.

Experiencia negativa: Prospective tenants avoid this company. They took over a rental we were in and communication nose-dived. They don't call you back, or respond to inquiries. Jordan was great at communicating and was always polite. Mikayla was very rude, when you can actually get them to return a phone call. Jennifer was also rude in e-mail correspondence. The app they use is also a joke. Renters avoid this company at all costs. Getting into our new place with our new property management company was so much better than Realty Works.

They let their tenants live with mold. Say they will fix stuff but DON'T!!! Then they try and charge people for things they never seen before. Never inspected the property. SLUM LORDS galore!!! And the lady who answers the phone. My goodness. NO EDUCATION what so ever! Rude.. And for No reason!!! Im willing to bet she only acts like that on the phone DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! Experiencia negativa: They are a management company, they don't like to call tenants back un a timely manner or even at all. They are quick to have your vehicle towed, and they have only one dumpster for a apartment complex of 14 apartments. The worse thing about the dumpster they have it right out front of the building that makes the place look trashy along with not taking care of the yard.

Experiencia fantástica: Pretty good place to rent from. They're fair and react in a timely manner for maintenance. You need to be in good standing with past rentals or you will need to look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: The Customer service isn't very polite, as it shows, no staff seem to be polite besides the maintenance men. Don't act high and mighty when you're sleazy people.

That I have rented wasnt cleaned on time water is leaking I reported it and called to check the next day about it and was told that maintance went to look at it and it was dry sent friend to recheck carpet is wet even more and a package that delivered and put inside the apt was opened by someone. I havent even made it to nebraska yet and this is what I'm dealing with.

Experiencia negativa: WORST company EVER to my never fix anything that’s broke that you call about. They have never changed any filters or anything in 2 years. Left a message about a gas leak about a month ago and they never reached. Put my notice in finally and they had no problem schedule a move out and showing tour but couldn’t come for important things I needed done to the house. You can’t respond to their response as well.

Experiencia positiva: I really like working with Mikayla (spelling) sorry and Jordan in the office they have both been responsive and helpful. Sometimes maintenance is a challenge but it is not due to their responsiveness it's because our air conditioner is constantly leaking and they keep having to come out to address it. I do appreciate that they do respond to our maintenance requests regarding our air conditioner. I also find the online portal very easy to use. Thank you Cheri Stollar

Experiencia negativa: I told them my fridge seal was broke months ago and they just should up yesterday with no notice or call and left a note that they could not get in. Ummmmm.... Glad because pretty sure it should have been fixed months ago and I should not have had to tape the door shut and second, pretty sure you have to give 24 hours notice that you would even be coming by..... I also left a vm about 2-3 weeks ago about losing my mailbox key(thankfully I found it) and even stated in the vm there were packages that could not get hot and I still have yet to hear back.

Experiencia negativa: My townhouse basement has flooded four times in two years. I'm waiting to hear back since yesterday 6/11/21 3pm, maintenance guy came with a shop vac told someone in the office they need a professional and I would hear back, still waiting. My bedroom floor has several inches of water, I suppose they are waiting until Monday to save on overtime? I have very bad asthma and allergies. Have called the emergency maintenance number, no response in two hours. Being charged a lot of rent for dirty gutters and damaged regress window and water coming in from the walls. Not sure any home owner wants to let a basement full of water sit over night and maybe two days until Monday. If I owned a home I wouldn't put this group in charge if it. The response in no way answered a.ythimg. timely isn't letting water sit in a basement room for 4 days until you get to it. And you didn't address water coming in from cracks in the wall, amd your maintenance man told me the egret wi down had mold and was the cause. How embarrassing of a response to a paying customer.

Experiencia negativa: I had no issues when century owned the building. My heat and ac stopped working and after 2 weeks the maintenance guy came and did a temporary fix which makes the ac run none stop and he was supposed to come back the next day. I keep calling weekly to see if they can send him out but they keep making excuses to why he hasn’t fix it after a whole month. I’m sure not excited to see what my electric bill is going to look like and they sure don’t care.

Experiencia negativa: i have bean living in on of there duplex for a year now and the place has heating and ac problems. i had problems with my fridge and they replaced it but did not removed the old one for about 5 months and win i moved in. the bathtub the shower and the bath would turn on and they said i did something to it and i would haft to pay for the damage how is it my fault win it was like that win i moved in neighbors were vary rude blaring music at 4am and win i had my music up they would call the cops on me

Experiencia fantástica: I have rented from this company for 2 yrs. They are fabulous to work with. I have suffered from "covid" set back and they have been so willing to work with me.

Experiencia negativa: I rented through them the house I rented has a horrible mouse problem. Also plumbing issues when I would shower it would leak in the living room ceiling. They did fix it after bring it to there attention but failed to see if mold was forming. From a contractor “they have done a patch job here before and there is no doubt there is mold forming in the ceiling.” Then charged me for 12 hours of cleaning when I moved out which is not possible due to the fact I cleaned the house and the fact they never shampooed the carpets before I moved in even after saying they would. I know they did not clean it. They don’t care about the properties they are renting to people or the people they rent to due to the fact they have rented the house having to know that mold is in the ceiling. Be careful when renting through them have a contractor or a professional walk through with you before you rent from them and take photos before you move out.

Experiencia negativa: I have been living in a house with bats for 4 months, and Realty Works has put fairly little effort into fixing the infestation, along with our landlord. They haven’t held our landlord accountable to solve the issue either. Do not rent with Realty Works, you will regret it.

In addition, we had bats in our house for over 5 months because realty works would not respond to constant phone calls as well as would not help us find solutions to the bat problem. Do not work with them.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a joke. Waited to hear back on an application I put in for a house for 5 DAYS. Just to check the mail to them sending me a letter of denial. The least you could do is have the decency and respect to call the people you’re charging $35 back!

My only gripe is Audrey and Jordan screens my calls. Which I was taken aback at. I thought we were closer but they are really good people and if you treat them well, they will most graciously reciprocate.

She is amazing! Times were very rough for me and those first few years were a struggle. Realty Works hung in there with me and I am very thankful to them for giving me and my kids a place to live in to call home. They were there to make repairs! The best one, personal water fountain! Lol! You just had to laugh! When I was finally able to make the move to become a home buyer, I turned to Matt and asked him to be my realtor! I tell you what, Matt is just as amazing! He knows his stuff! He was not just trying to get me into any house. He understood my budget so that made things a little more tricky! Matt was very patient when we would go look at houses. There were some doozies! Personal swimming pool! Lol! You can definitely tell Matt enjoys his career path and he is exceptional! Matt has helped my daughter and son-in-law, buy a house and recently my best friend as well! So, Matt and Jennifer I wish you the best and thank you for not giving up on me when I showed up on the front doorstep at the duplex!

Even when we had some water in our basement on the coldest day of the year, they sent help that night at 11pm to get it fixed. Have no complaints here and was a pleasure renting from them! If we didn't move from Lincoln, we would still be renting from Realty Works!

Experiencia positiva: TL;DR - Much good, allows dogs, but arson is not allowed. I am not super particular, but this seems to be a good place to rent from. Everything they said they’d take care of they do. Maintenance requests can sometimes take a bit longer than desired, but if it’s important they have done a good job of getting it done. I rent a house and they have you do all the yard work which is fine, but also have you change the furnace filter and light bulbs and the like. Given that it is a house it is not a big deal, but sometimes putting money into a rental isn’t the most ideal thing. Overall renting has been easy and the online portal makes a lot of sense and is easy to navigate. You can get in contact easily and everything I feel should be taken care of is taken care of.

He wasn’t pushy, he took the time needed to explain things a first time homebuyer needed to know, and his experience with owning multiple units himself made me comfortable with his opinions about the guts of houses. Several months after I purchased the house, we had some questions about foundation settling. He took the time to set us up with an inspector to come over to look at the issue and came out himself at the same time. He had absolutely no obligation to help at all so I was impressed he went to the lengths he did. Five stars, would use again.
