You don’t have to settle for the recommended lender We started with the recommended lender and then switched. A lender should… 1. Be responsive to all questions in a timely manner 2. Not talk down to clients who ask the same question more than once over a three month period 3. Get the clients the best deal possible. We ended up switching our lender to Guaranty Federal Mortgage and it saved us close to $8,000 up front and so much more with the interest rate we got. This company spent more time with us explaining things in a week than our original lender spent with us in 3 months!
