Experiencia fantástica: The blinds on my sliding glass door needed to be replaced very hard to move back and forth..I called maintenance the ladies in the office called me back with 48hours scheduled an appointment JUAN came out set me up with brand new blinds..took about an hour! Experiencia fantástica: I rent through FMC and they have been very helpful and positive with me! Summer has been very helpful and supportive. She is very prompt and understanding. FMC will work with you not against you. Anytime I have had any maintenance issue, it is resolved within the SAME DAY that I create a maintenance request. If you can’t get a hold of them or vise versa they can communicate through text as well which is so helpful for a busy person like myself. I have been with FMC since 2018. Their application process is very quick. I found it very easy to talk with them. The properties I’ve stayed at are well kept and they handle any requests I’ve had with urgency. I LOVE the home I rent. They are very fair with their tenants. All it takes is communication. The owner I have is very attentive and loves the home as much as I do and is very polite and friendly. When I moved out of my apartment through FMC and into the home I now rent through FMC, I was able to receive all of my deposit which is not common to some. Thank you Summer for your help and support and for the maintenance team for sending assistance very fast. Thank you for working with me. You all are great.

Experiencia negativa: Instead of blaming OWNER AND after HER property has been destroyed you should be reasonable AND TRUTHFUL 1- stop putting false blames WHEN OWNER HAS PAID ALL DUES NO KEYS RETURNED. STOP TAKING MONEY FROM BOTH SIDES when you were supposed to return property in same way . WITHOUT WHOSE PERMISIION CHANGED PROPTERY LOCKS from original state by tenant when you have destroyed some hard earned proptery . 2- when strict pet policy was told you then why was the owner was not informed about service animal also not provided proof to owner to animal records . 3- how can you ask owner to pay out of pocket when it your duty to manage and maintain proptery return in way it was given to you in first place . 4- your vendor and you were informed same day of wrong carpet it was your duty to get it fixed hw can they charge for product which was not authorized to put clearly written in you email on same day evening time within time frame of work if you have email kindly check these . 5- I highly suggest you don't spread false rumors and fool consumers when it was you duty to provide property in same way as it was given not ask owner to pay it was your due diligence to have asked tenant for charges and return property in same way . REASON PEOPLE HIRE IS YOU SOLVE and return there property in living situation? ISSUE INSTEAD YOU are Charging owner for propter which was destroy under your superior and falsely giving information . Even after 9 days of paying all dues MANAGMENT HAS NOT RETURNED KEYS AFTER MUTILPLE REMINDERS THEY HARRASSING BOTH OWNER AND TENANTS

We are not blaming you or the tenant. Unfortunately we have to do what is right. In this case neither you or the tenant are happy. I wish you took time and addressed your concerns in proper and civil manner.
Fresno Management Company was hired to manage the rental home on behalf of the owner, in which Fresno Management Company fulfilled that obligation per the contract.

When you decided you wanted to no longer utilize Fresno Management Company because you needed to move back into your home. We had the tenants vacate and gave you access to your home. You have keys to the home. You even put your personal property back in the home in one room.

You asked Fresno Management Company to paint and change the carpets. In which we did. As it was explained to you. The tenants have a security deposit. If the cost of said work to return the home to its original condition minus normal wear n tear we charge the tenant. They have 30 days to pay the monies back. If they do not. They are sent to collections.
Owners are responsible to pay all fees up front that is the cost of owning and renting your property.

Work was all authorized by you. All in writing.

This is turning to defamation on this business. If you would like to continue the conversation please let me know a good time and day for a meeting. We would love to resolve this with you. But spreading false information is not the proper way.

Experiencia positiva: My concern isn’t so much with the property management company itself, as with the part of the business that deals with repairs. It is very hard to make them understand exactly what issues you’re having with the home if you give them more than one issue at a time, which sometimes happens, they don’t seem to be able to deal with that. But even one issue at a time seems to be confusing. Most of it has to be done online. There is a phone number to call but you get a foreign person who does not really understand what you are trying to tell them and doesn’t always convey the issue correctly. The example I have today is a leak that has been going on since April in my air conditioner pipes. The first time I complained about it they were so confused because of another issue on the roof that they just sent someone out to look at the roof. I got tired of telling them so I finally quit complaining about that. But then my fire alarm goes off when the water collects from this pipe and so I contacted them again a couple weeks ago told them it was important for them to come out and fix this leak. They sent someone out on a Saturday and he said you have a pipe that needs to be insulated. There is condensation and that’s leaking onto the ceiling and causing your issues. So they sent someone out today, which is a week and a half later and they went on my roof and did something with the air conditioner and never came inside to fix the leak. The only way to fix it is through the attic. So I tried to call the plumbing company to tell them they did the wrong thing and they said I have to call Fresno management. So I did and I got a foreign lady who did not know English well enough to hear my problem so here we are with the ceiling still leaking, now I’m just going to let it go I also have a sink with a pipe that is leaking and that has not been done either. Oh well, such is life as a renter. The house is old and I’m just trying to take care of it the best I can but it does not seem to be working

Experiencia negativa: The way this property management has treated my family is ridiculous! Messed up section 8 receivers portion to pay and expected to be paid in full or was threatened with a 3 day notice. Had two vehicles towed from the site, complained about pets, etc. This company frankly is creating a hostile living environment where seems you get watched your every move and for every little thing it’s a 3 day notice threat. Now they are trying to prohibit a guest from the property? SMH maybe they should ensure the property is fully up to date before targeting individuals. We have video footage of the manager yelling at an individual blasting music and he’s still been seen on the property? Another smokes weed and drinks right in the walk way where children pass, any issues with that? Nope they allow it. But yet they continue to harass my family member, interesting

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived at the Mirage for 3 years, And have no complaints. Maintenance requests are dealt with in a timely manner. The managers are polite and efficient. They work hard to resolve situations. It’s understandable that not all tenant issues can be resolved easily. Because of tenant close proximity of each other, Some problems rely on our neighbors own habits & hygiene. The managers here work hard to weed out the bad apples. For instance roaches?. Personally I haven’t had a problem. Fortunately, I landed with decent neighbors. Far as I’m concerned, FMC Rocks!

Experiencia negativa: Well Fresno property management is so poor service and really trying to throw an evection my way because I won't agree to an agreement to pay 5 months worth of rent. I moved out the apartment june28th of this year I gave a 30 day notice to my previous land lord who's a retired sheriff she's wrote a letter for me of a written statement stating when I vacated the premises and turned in my keys. I fallowed up to check on my deposit and Christina told me their are people in the apartment that's stating I gave them the apartment I called Fresno P.D down there I got the case number had the written 30 day notice from housing and my landlord written statement when I turned in my keys. So for that I will not take responsibility for something that was no longer in my name so I'm going to court and I'm coming with documents and proof and justice will be served

Experiencia negativa: Beware of Fresno Management Company-they're highly incompetent. Their rental turnover time averages a staggering 3-4 months. I was shocked when they placed a tenant with a one-bedroom voucher in my two-bedroom apartment without informing me, resulting in a $300 monthly income loss. To exacerbate matters, they've been consistently charging me for fraudulent inspections and key relocking fees. Despite their errors, they shifted blame onto me, leaving me to deal with the consequences. It's evident that their primary concern is lining their pockets rather than responsibly managing properties.

Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience. I am ready to report this company to the BBB. I scheduled a viewing for a rental house. I spoke with someone, one time (the only time I could reach a real person) and confirmed that my application and processing fees were received and confirmed my appointment. I continued to get text messages to be sure to be at my appointment and I confirmed back ok when asked. I drove 3 hours to look at the property and no one showed. I had to turn around and drive back another 3 hours. However, shortly after the schedule appointment, I received more texts asking me how my appointment/viewing went and was I ready to apply for the property! Seriously?? There was no way of contacting anyone. I really would like my money back. I think this business is a scam.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate them a -0 I would. Christina is a property manager for the company and a liar. If you do business with this company GET IT IN WRITING! No one knows what honesty is in this company and they will try to keep your deposit. Know your Tenant Laws when dealing with them. They tried to charge me a $25 fireplace cleaning fee and you can not do that in California. I left that place I moved from as clean as the day I moved in and they tried to charge me for cleaning.

You are correct in stating that you were originally charged $25 for cleaning of the fireplace however after the final deposit disposition was completed the charge was removed and we also issued a partial credit towards the housekeeping charge. It is standard practice to charge housekeeping at move out as the unit was delivered to you professionally cleaned. Experiencia negativa: Scheduled a showing with no direction on how to access the home or if someone will be there to let us in. We arrived at the property and stood outside the locked home in the 100° weather for 15 minutes attempting to reach the property management company with no answer and no option to even speak with a live representative (only automated services)! Ended up leaving the home without speaking to anyone or even seeing the inside! Such a disservice to the owners of the home with this company’s lack of information and responsiveness!

Experiencia negativa: I live nextdoor to a property that Fresno Management Company handles. For 3 years now the house bushes have encroached over our property line to the point it has broken our back yard fence blocked my side fence making it difficult to go in and out and prevented us from putting a fence up to keep our cats in the yard and dogs out of our yard. The bushes are covered with dirt and spider webs and all kinds of droppings from off the trees it's filthy ! When I tell their gardener he says you take care of what's on your side and I said no the roots of these bushes are on your side of the property, if I wanted bushes I would have planted some, I'm 59 years old with all kind of health issues , I don't have a gardener not can afford one all I'm asking is that they trim back there bushes to keep them from growing out onto our property and they can keep them nasty and dirty and fill of cobwebs on there side. Kristen the manager in the office just gives lip service and never calls back or follow up she just feels I will give up calling. They all blame the mathe Owner of the house ,says she won't pay to have it cleaned up well if that the case then that owner is a POS and so is this companies customer service!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this management company to anyone, but especially someone moving from out of state. They left us with a house with no water, did not alert us about anything needed to sign the lease until we are already there, stranded, having driven for days, they didn't have our mail keys and claimed we should just pay 50$ to the post office, which is incorrect. USPS told us the HOA here owns and is in charge of our mailbox and keys. We're punished because things weren't coordinated with the past tenant or landlord/property management. And now we learned they apparently messed up our lease that we already signed. They do not answer phones or email. Really not a helpful company. I see they've added into a reply that we are responsible for setting up utilities in our name BEFORE signing a lease. Would have been nice for literally anyone to tell us this when we repeatedly explained we are from out of state. I didn't even know what PE&G was until I arrived and they said I needed an account number. In short, customer service is a one star from me.

It was nice to meet you in person earlier today at the office. It is responsibility of the tenants to put utilities in their name prior to moving in both PG&E as well as the Water/Garbage/Sewer.
2. As explained in person one is required to retrieve the mailbox key that is a property of US Post Office form them after presenting valid Lease Agt. $50 deposit is refundable upon returning of the key at the move out
3. As explained eaelier in person all the dealings during your stay are to be directed with the owner as the property is owner managed and FMC was retained to help facilitate Lease Agreemnt only.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled a tour of one of their listings 3 days prior and confirmed it via text the day of. They cancelled my 3 o clock apartment at 3 o clock and told me to reschedule. Not sure if I would want to live in a place that looked like that anyways but the unprofessionalism puts a nice cap on it. There was a tenant standing shirtless in his apartment next to us staring also. Never lived there but hope this poor review keeps others from dealing with this company.

Experiencia negativa: Takes them forever to come and fix something from your house. When they want to come is only on their schedule not yours. Some of us work in the morning and we can’t be taking days off for them just to “fix” something in a min. The manager of the apartment should have all of our keys. All of a sudden they don’t. What happened to our keys? They also charge you if you don’t open the door for them. But that’s there fault why didn’t you make the appointment when I was going to be home. The apartments are trashy and old and yet they higher the rent but never put nothing new. They also put a new gate for us and gave us a control. Yet the gate is always open because it doesn’t work. They also don’t have security, they do but he only shows to peek and leave.

Because we have no last name match between the tenant and one on this review, I can guess that you are a tenant on Barstow. I will be very vague to respect your privacy. The work order was called in on 02.09.23. On this account owner uses his own handyman that was at your unit and also had to schedule to view units on opposite side of yours. Because the source of the problem has not been established as of yesterday the owner gave the green light/ permission to get the issue corrected by professional plumbing company this AM. Costless Plumbing attempted to call the occupant today, but nothing scheduled yet as "unable to reach the tenant". Please call Costless directly and/or follow your Work Order on your portal. I am sorry for the inconvenience, and I agree this is taking too long to get addressed as we have no choice but to follow directions of the owner, tenant and depend on availability of the vendor. I hope this helps.

Experiencia positiva: I'm changing my one star review to a 4 star review because I can see that this company has been doing a great job at listening to their tenant's concerns. I was transferred from my original rental property to this one and at first I was disappointed with the lack of communication between me as a tenant and this company. However, once I was able to get a hold of the company, I found out that there have been positive changes that have happened since my bad incidents with them. My family and I were always treated in a respectful and friendly manner by Nick from maintenance. He always took care of the problems we had with our rental property. Summer, who I believe is a supervisor, was also very nice and helpful with anything I needed. I once had a problem with the carpet in my rental and she was very good at explaining to me that unfortunately she could not replace the carpeting at my home, but did give me options as to what I could do about my situation. Summer was also really good at communicating with me about how the rental process and the walk-through process works. I was nervous to reach out to them with questions regarding my estimated costs from moving out, but she gave me a call to explain how this process works and I feel better now that she explained that to me. Gladys from the front desk was also really nice and guided me through my process of returning my keys. Even though I originally had bad experiences with this company, they were able to explain things to me and have treated me in a very respectful way and this is why I think this company deserves 4 stars. I would be happy to rent a property from them again in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a tenant of FMC going on 8+ yrs. I have no real complaints. Im thankful for the small complex, nice neighborhood and nice neighbors who have been here for many years like myself, beautiful landscaping, sparkling pool. As long as you are a good tenant and hold to your end of the deal in my experience they have always done the same. Maintenance requests are addressed within the week of notifying the Company. Rent is what it is now a days and I don’t feel they take advantage of the situation. Commutation is key and I’ve heard they work with others if they find themself in a situation. My one small complaint is the lack of support from our onsite manager. I’m not sure anyone here knows how to contact her if an emergency were to arise that didn’t need police or fire assistance. I’m happy with Fresno Management Company amd plan on staying here for a very long time

Experiencia fantástica: There have been a lot improvements and it has been a great experience to be apart of this change. We have a new property manager and she is going above and beyond to assure the best quality living experience. From time to time they may get busy but they are great at following back up with me in a timely manner. I'm never rushed in any conversation and they take time to hear me out. One of the receptionist even took a few moments to help me with conducting a letter. She was super nice about it. Anyways I am really satisfied with the improvements and looking into renting another property from them.

Experiencia negativa: This company WILL SCAM YOU. I had it personally happen to me with fake "trash removal" charges on top of all the other charges. I had to hassle with Christina the manager and Maria the financial advisor for months, luckily I took pictures before I moved in and after so I was able to receive my full refund cause I had proof but if i didn't things wouldn't have not gone well. Now my ex neighbor is having to deal with the exact same issues, they are charging him for FRAUD "TRASH REMOVAL" and on top of other things and are taking his full deposit, so he hired me to take care of it since he is not in the country. Sadly he did not take pictures before and after and its been 2 months now and they have ignored all voicemails all emails and have NOT been in touch with me even though I call at least 3 times a week both Christina and Maria refuse to answer their phones. I kept asking them to look at the cameras that are placed in the hallways so that'd be our proof but I believe they are waiting it out and ignoring me until the video automatically deletes since it is a security camera and those automatically clear out after a certain time period. Please.. DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.

Thank you for you review. On average we do 30 move-ins and move-outs each and every month. This is the first complaint in 15 years reg deposit dispute. Usually, the issue lies in understanding as to how deposits are handled, therefore I would suggest to go back to the Lease Agreement for clarification. In most cases tenants will receive ESTIMATED Deposit Disposition within 21 days and they will receive a 2nd - FINAL Deposit Disposition that will follow within 14 days from the last bill for the turnover has been received. Usually that is professional or carpet cleaning. At the time of preparation of initial deposit there are many unknown/hidden items, not all pricing is available and damaged items that we thought could we fixed need to be replaced or the other way around where replacement is not necessary but simple fix will do. Tenant can dispute charges if properly documented and backed up by billing/pictures/videos, etc. Tenants are given an opportunity to conduct pre move out inspection, so they know what needs to be addressed prior to them moving out thus no surprises when deposit disposition arrives. The good news is that this particular tenant will get full deposit back as the owner decided to totally rehab the unit therefore no need to charge to fix things if everything inside all the way to studs will be redone. Finally, I would like to state that this management company is not pro-owner nor pro-tenant. Because often times we are cut between the two groups of clients we make our judgment independently of either. We don't want to keep anyone's deposit. But just as you are holding us to the account so does the owner. If homes are left in same shape as when they were rented, we would re rent them quicker and owner would not have to spend time, effort and capital to address. If you scroll down some through these reviews, you will also find one complaint from an owner who thinks that we are too lenient on tenants and allowed his tenants to get away with stuff. I hope this explanation is satisfactory and I hope you will increase your poor rating about us and retract your derogatory and unfair remarks.

Experiencia negativa: Poor ability to respond to potential clients. Made three phone calls during business hours to speak with a property manager about viewing times (due to the nature of my work, no open viewing times worked for me) and got no response except for being sent the link to schedule a time twice. This was after putting in an application, verifying rental history and doing everything else I could to prove my intent to rent the property. This gives the impression that tenants are neglected. Not a good look. I will not be doing business with this company.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been without hot water for 2 weeks now our hot water heater is from the 1970s and finally breaks and they don’t wanna fix it I pay $1150 to live in the ghetto and take cold showers. What a place to rent from. I’ve called probably a total of 15 times I get hung up on and completely ignored and forgotten about.
