My father passed away in February at the age of ninety-five, and my mother, at eighty-eight, decided to sell her house and move closer to my wife and I, and her granddaughter. Her house in Beaumont was built by her father, my grandfather, back in 1939, and had been in our family for almost ninety years. As a minister’s wife, this was the first time my mom had sold a house in her life, and it was a deeply emotional decision. Katie Martin and Dayna made sure we understood the process and walked us through what we would need to do, both in listing the house and navigating sole ownership for my mother through my dad’s will. They helped us find reputable local businesses to handle the trash deposal from our cleanout and to clean the house thoroughly before the listing, then took fantastic, professional pictures that really showed the charm of our family’s house. They handled the incoming offers, and conferred with us to find not only the highest offer, but the one that worked the best for our family. In the end, my mother was very happy with the way the process unfolded. This was a sale of a small 90-year-old two-bed, one-bath house, and when we began I was worried we’d get proper attention from a Realtor, based on the size and relative value of our property, and some bad experiences in other locations with other companies. But with every step, Katie and Dayna were there to not only handle all of the business aspects of the sale, but also to personally reach out and take care of us at the most difficult time of our lives. My family is grateful for Katie Martin, and Dayna Simmons Real Estate, and will always be thankful to them for the way they took care of us like family.

Experiencia fantástica: Lauren Camacho was an excellent buyer's agent. In April/May 2023, my son was finishing college in Indiana and scheduled to start a good job in Beaumont, TX on July 31. Lauren was very responsive and worked closely with him from out-of-state during May to view a particular house remotely and then quickly put in an offer, which was accepted. She provided advice and consulted others when necessary, but in the end she did whatever he thought was appropriate. She contacted inspectors, contractors and the listing agent on his behalf quickly and efficiently and was tenacious when she needed to be. When he went to work in London for the summer, she and the loan officer arranged through the title company for me to be his power of attorney, so I was able to sign all the documents at closing on his behalf, also coming from out-of-state myself.
