I begin talking to Adam once it all started down hill. He was very patient with me and made sure I had any and all information needed, when asked. Adam stepped up and explained the entire process word for word. Bottom line to shorten the story. Thank God for Mr. Swann for just being himself. Very professional but he stayed on my level of things, especially when we're were losing our heritage. I am talking Christmas Eve and day. As well as late Sunday night into Monday morning. No one wants to work at those times but he responded when I think 90% would have pushed it off. Due to the buyers pressure that is what was needed to get the deal closed and he closed it. I truly hope he never has to go through a process like this again but if he does he is a season veteran at it.

I went against my late husband's wishes of the person that should have sold our home because of the high quote. Turns out the realtor my husband wanted to use was pretty much on the money.The fees they charge costed me any profit I would have made. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a widow. I didn't even get a Thank you from the realtor and he never showed at the closing. My advice is before you sign with anyone do your homework don't be pressured with those high estimates.Be realistic!!!

At first the experience was fine, but after the listing went live we experienced horrible communication and none of their promises came through with us. They represented that they had buyers that may be interested in the house before it even went on the market. We never got any feedback about this. Apparently the agent was supposed to do this, but she never did. It felt like they just threw it up on Zillow and hoped someone would come along to see it. I could do that! This brokerage charges 4% because they represent that they can sell houses quick and it didn’t happen and you won’t be told why. Why would I pay someone to list my house and then not represent me?

Experiencia negativa: We bought a vacation home about a year and a half ago, and had a pleasant experience. I rated our realtor 5 stars at the time. We are retiring in less than a year and were planning to use them again. Our daughter got a job and moved into our vacation home last month. We reached out to the same realtor to start a home search for her and were told there is now a $500 retainer fee to even speak with her. This is after we were already (as a family) a customer. It gives off used car dealership vibes. They lost the potential sale of my daughter’s starter home and subsequent houses I’m sure she will be purchasing. My husband and I will be going elsewhere for our retirement home that will be a significant cost. We are also looking to get our second daughter to the region, who will be buying subsequent houses in the future. Hope it was worth the $500 “retainer fee.”

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant team to work with. Mike Durham was my realtor. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a timely manner. When he didn't know something, he found out and got back to me promptly. I addition, when I closed on my house, the seller didn't leave the keys to the house. I called Mike and he picked up immediately and offered to meet me at my new house right then and there to give me the keys. I'd recommend Mike and his team for anyone looking to buy a new house.

Experiencia positiva: I recently sold my home, and while I'm glad the house sold, my experience with Brittney, our realtor, was far from satisfactory. From the very beginning, Brittney pressured us to sign a contract despite our concerns about a stipulation requiring payment if we turned down an acceptable offer. Her response to our question was, "I promise we wouldn't do that to you." While we eventually got that stipulation changed in the contract, this set the tone for the rest of our relationship. Brittney took low-quality photos of our home, initially claiming they were for internal use, but then used them for the actual listing. We had to take better photos ourselves and practically beg her to update the listing. Throughout the process, Brittney was uncooperative and provided little to no helpful advice. Her responses were curt, and when we tried to align on our goals, she seemed irritated, even dismissing our concerns with a casual "I'm multitasking, haha." It felt like we had to guide her every step of the way. She even asked me to sign an extended contract, unaware that I had already done so. The house ended up selling with the pictures we took ourselves before the professional ones were ever posted. The listing strategies felt gimmicky and dismissive of our input. Brittney didn’t congratulate us on the sale, and we actually found out from our neighbor post-inspection that the sale was going through. Ironically, we heard more from her when she requested a review post-sale than we did during the entire process. While we are happy to pay for good service, the 7% commission plus a broker fee of $1,495 was tough to justify given the poor service we received. In summary, while the house did sell, the experience with Brittney was extremely disappointing. Her lack of professionalism, poor communication, and minimal effort were frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive realtor.
