Fantastic experience: Scott Management has been servicing our property for the past eight years and has done an excellent job. They also managed the property where I lived previously, and my experience with them there was equally positive. I have consistently found them to be attentive, responsive, and professional. Unfortunately, it’s worth noting that reviews are often written primarily by disgruntled or unreasonable homeowners, which can give a misleading impression of the overall quality of a management company that, in reality, serves its communities well.

Fantastic experience: Ellona over at Scott Management has been amazing. During the sale process there have been contingencies that needed to be resolved and Ellona responds and helps me get the information needed immediately. It has been a pleasure having Scott Management on my side.

Negative experience: I filed a noise complaint through Scott Management and explicitly stated in writing that I did not want my information shared with the other party. Three days later, Management forwarded my complaint to that person anyway — including my name, phone number, email, and video evidence — with instructions to "work directly" with me. When I emailed Management objecting to the disclosure, they never responded. If you file a complaint through this company, be aware your identity and contact information may be shared with the person you're complaining about, even if you ask them not to.

Fantastic experience: Ellona at Scott Management has been a pleasure to work with. I own a condo in a complex she manages and can happily say she has been wonderfully responsive and helpful. When I had a major leak in my unit which was covered by the HOA, her team worked as quickly as possible to get everything resolved in a very professional manner. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have been homeowners at Manitoba West for 32 years. Over that time we have retained a number of Management Companies; some better than others. Ellona Hess and her team at Scott Management have been very responsive to the needs of our community as well as our personal requests. In addition, Ms. Hess is proactive with regular communication with our residents on matters such as reminders of our Association's rules as well as issues affecting our entire complex. Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best property management company I’ve ever worked with. They are truly your partners whether you are a homeowner or HOA. For YEARS they have been consistently fast, efficient, and precise but also very patient and humanistic. All questions including very complicated and nuanced ones are prioritized, thoroughly thought through and responded to in the most speedy and clear matter. If serious research is needed they reach out and deliver beautifully and concise. I honestly wish everyone i deal with in my life were more like them. Fantastic experience: Scott Management Company oversees my townhouse complex in Marina Del Rey. They've done a wonderful job over the years. In particular, Ariel has been great to work with and I appreciate how responsive he is whenever I reach out. I've interacted with many property management companies over the years and Scott Management Company has definitely been one of the best.

Negative experience: I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered with Alisa. She was extremely condescending, dismissive, and made me feel as if I was bothering her for simply asking basic questions about my HOA proposal. When I tried to clarify the situation, she responded with, “I don’t know what you don’t understand, I just told you,” which is incredibly rude and unprofessional for someone in her position. She offered zero guidance, contradicted information previously given by management, and treated me like I was stupid for trying to understand a very important and time-sensitive issue. Considering homeowners rely on HOA staff for accurate information during emergencies, this level of disrespect is unacceptable. I left the call feeling more confused than before, and only after speaking with an actual board member did I learn that most of what she told me was inaccurate. Alisa should not be speaking to residents this way, especially when we’re dealing with property damage and urgent repairs.

Fantastic experience: We are very pleased with the management services they have provided. With our previous management company, we had dealt with a leak for almost 7 years with no resolve. Within one year of having Scott management taking over our HOA, our leak was resolved and the pipe was repaired with within 1 month. We are grateful for their fast service and efficiency.

Fantastic experience: For a company that manages so many properties, I am exceedingly impressed by how quickly all my requests for service in common areas have been attended to within a day. We receive communications about any work repairs or anything that might impact the residents and timely announcements about our accounts and what nots, I feel Scott Management to be a very reliable management company and am glad our HOA selected them.

Fantastic experience: We've been with Scott Management Company for about 3 years now and honestly, they're night and day compared to our previous management company. The biggest thing for me is that they actually respond when you call or email. Our old company would take weeks to get back to us, but Scott's team usually gets back to me the same day. When we had that water damage issue in the clubhouse last spring, they had contractors out there within 48 hours and kept everyone updated throughout the whole process. I'm on the board and can say their monthly reports are actually useful - not just a bunch of confusing numbers. They break everything down so we can understand where our money's going. And when it comes to vendors, they've saved us a ton by renegotiating some of our contracts. The office staff knows our community well and remembers details about ongoing issues. That makes a huge difference when you're dealing with neighbor disputes or maintenance problems. They handle the enforcement stuff fairly too - nobody feels like they're being picked on.
