Fantastic experience: I am now on my third year here. I have to say I really enjoy the location and managements attention to addressing all tenant concerns. The girls in the office are absolutely excellent. So courteous and willing to help with everything in a very kind and cheerful way. Every interaction with them leaves me feeling what great representatives they are for the company and what naturally nice people they are. Our supers are awesome hard working and very pleasant to help with anything they are asked to. This despite a fairly heavy workload doing everything to keep the buildings clean safe and running efficiently. I am genuinely happy here and can say the neighbors tend to be all very nice. From the new laundry units, animal friendly atmosphere and optional secured parking this is a pretty good place to live!

Fantastic experience: Mr DRYWALL Always does an awesome job when he comes to make repairs apartments along with the other people who work with him in the building please keep them. They are all doing an excellent job as a team thank you blue Garden management. Also, I would like to say the building looks awesome. They did a great job with redoing the inside of the building . The floors and the paint job look good The building looks great. I’ve been here for a very long time and I must say the building looks great. I don’t feel embarrassed to bring someone here anymore.

Fantastic experience: Thank you again BlueGarden Management, I have been a resident here in Vernon for 9yrs and our last Landlord was superior beyond measure. Unfortunately, the good lord had to call him home. Nevertheless when Blue Garden Management took over there was a huge line of communication issues, staffing to reach an individual and arranging for maintenance problems to be addressed. Currently, after my recent experience of placing my maintenance duties that needed to be done on the tenant website along with speaking with a live individual this alone place my worries at bay. Once again thank for correcting the issues many of us have experienced in the past and hats off to uou for a bright and blessed future in 2026!!!! Mrs. Green

Negative experience: At first I really thought it had a nice apartment but no..they just keep patching up things that need to be replaced all together. The maintenance men will do what they can do so it’s not anything against them. My credit score has dropped because they were saying that I owe when I paid my rent up.. I’m so piss. They have not did anything about it but ask me if I want to renew my lease. I said hell no. Nice keeps coming in Roaches never leave. I have to buy the things to get are care of this matter. I just can’t believe that they played me like this when they never had a problem with me. I hear fights often and I know that you don’t suppose to judge someone based off what they have but you should be able to tell if they are good attendees and not just move someone in because you are money hungry. They said that they moved a lot of riff Raff out of here, but I can’t tell my whole year of being here being hell. I’m just so upset because I don’t like giving bad reviews but sometimes you do for them to make changes.. sincerely, a very disappointed tenant.

Positive experience: As a tenant you have to speak up or things won’t get done. For example plowing the steep driveway, or fixing the heat.
Fantastic experience: Oscar was very quick to respond when my shower broke. He came right away, looked at the shower, went and got the part and came right back to fix it.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES! THE BIGGEST SLUM LORDS! they’ll have you living in unimaginable living conditions and could care less if isnt about the money. Buildings are infested with roaches, bed bugs and mice especially at 7 Norfolk in hartford. The management is horrendous. Jennifer and Chaya are literally useless and don’t do their jobs. Maintenance is just as useless and don’t know anything. The owner also doesn’t care about anything typical for out of state landlords. PLEASE GIVE YOUR MONEY TO ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM!

Negative experience: LOCATION: 101 BENTON ST HARTFORD CT If I could give them 0 stars, I would. There are far more discrepancies to be told than the ones mentioned in this post, but I’ll focus on these as they pertain to health. There is a roach and mice infestation; management ignores written requests via email for pest control, even with photo evidence. I reported this to the state, and an inspection was performed; Blue Garden was ordered by the state to fix the violations in my apartment. They sent pest control one time, and they haven’t been back since. The walls are deteriorating from within, and they have ignored my emails for the past year regarding this. There is mold in all windows; management has ignored my emails with documented proof. The building is not accessible; the elevator has not been operating in over a year and many of the residents are handicapped and elderly. These issues were reported to management in 2022; it is now 2024 and the problems have worsened. I wouldn’t recommend this housing to the homeless. Please see the attached photos.

Negative experience: The workers are really nice. But this building have roaches and nice. They gave me the wrong apartment and then blackmail me that if I didn't keep it they would keep my deposit. The heat is supposed to be on as of October 15 but here is October 26 and we still have no heat. My apartment was never remodeled before I moved in but im sure they are going to try to keep my deposit. Too bad I have recorded everything

Negative experience: Absolute WORST place to rent from. Lived at the 25 Sanford Place location downtown. ROACHES everywhere, they tell you they'll spray weekly and they don't - that's a lie, more like every 4 or 5 months. Mice everywhere as well. Apartment was very clean and still had FREQUENT pest issues. Other issue is parking, don't try to leave after 9pm, there won't be a spot for you. They give everyone a sticker, so there's more cars than spots and then you have to try finding street parking in a bad neighborhood. Absolutely no security or monitoring of mail, packages stolen ALL THE TIME. Building doors frequently propped open, random people walking in at all hours of the day so make sure your door is locked. Also ZERO accountability for out of control renters. They rent to anyone with a pulse it seems, so if your next door or upstairs neighbors are loud, don't even bother calling the office. The staff sound like they hate their lives and they WILL NOT help you. Was told repeatedly that noise issues would be addressed, and they never were. Told them I had video of how loud the noise was, but they didn't care. Just the absolute worst, most unprofessional place you can rent from. The only two reasons they have positive reviews is because the maintenance guy is really good and friendly, and because they bribe tenants with free rent to submit positive reviews. Take a look at the dates the positive reviews are submitted, always around the same time. Don't rent from Blue Garden unless you are DESPERATE and even then, be very very careful. Don't bother responding, Blue Garden - you wouldn't help me when I lived there, and I have no interest in hearing from you now.

Positive experience: I utilized the new maintenance QR Code because my kitchen sink was stopped up and both my bathroom sink and bathtub were drawing really slowly. I received a call from the office about my work order and scheduled maintenance worker for Tuesday 10:00 a m. Jorge showed up right on time and snaked all three. I asked him for a drain cover for my bathtub because there wasn't one when I moved in. Jorge said he did not have one but would purchase one and install it. I expected to wait at least a week. He left at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and when I jumped in the shower Wednesday, I was really surprised that the bathtub mesh cover had been installed already. He must have come back the same day to take care of it! Jorge is so patient, accommodating , and just a kind person. Thanks, Jorge!

Negative experience: RENTERS BEWARE!!!!! BLUE GARDEN MANAGEMENT……..My daughter has been living with her husband and daughter at 300 eastern street New Haven for 2 years. When she first moved in they told her that they are renovating the property within the 1st year that never happened and it’s not even a secure building. Soon after they discovered they had mice and other things they had to call an exterminator for my daughter was so stressed out. My daughter works everyday to take care of her family her husband is ill and unable to work and they have a young daughter. She had a car that was broke down and sat in the parking lot for several months until they junked it. She got another car and now all of a sudden they are having cars in the parking lot towed daily and my daughters was towed twice she been calling management because of people parking in her assigned parking space my daughter is definitely been targeted, and she’s been dealing with this harassment for 2 years and this has to stop my daughter and her family have no peace whatsoever ever since they have moved in this dump. That’s the definition of SLUMLORDS!!!!

Regarding the parking issue, our policy requires that vehicles parked in the lot have valid registration and insurance. We only began enforcement after several notices were given to ensure fair and safe use of the property. That said, we’re more than willing to review this matter further.

He is truly a great person always kind, respectful, and ready to help anyone in the building. He consistently does his job with care, keeping everything nice and neat. I’ve never had a single complaint about his work. Recently, he came in to fix my door lock and also helped install my mailbox lock. He did both jobs quickly and efficiently, and I really appreciate his professionalism. Tony is polite, hardworking, and a true asset to our building. Thank you for all you do, Tony!
