Negative experience: The experience I had with this company/ business was good until the day of my event. Karen was very rude when I called her about some things that were not discussed previously in her end. She also was not helpful in the slightest to help resolve some of the issues. However, the space is cheap so I guess the customer service is representative of that as well. Other than that it was fine. I was just very displeased with Karen and how she handled things.

Fantastic experience: This air bnb was the best I have ever used. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, responsive and just really kind. The apartment was immaculate, homey, warm and just a wonderful space to live and work. The fridge had basics to get me started. The kitchen was user friendly having everything I needed to prepare my own meals. The maid came 1x weekly and cleaned and changed the bed. The wifi was strong and allowed me to continue my remote work. Washer and dryers in the basement. I felt safe and secure while there. I highly recommend this air bnb!!

The building itself is secure and quiet, which added to the relaxed and safe feeling throughout my stay. The location is incredibly convenient—close to restaurants, stores, and public transportation. Karen is a fantastic host. She’s communicative, kind, and understanding. Check-in and check-out were simple, and she responded quickly to any questions I had. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort and experience. My stay exceeded expectations. Fantastic experience: The Evelyn is a small space that packs a big punch! It has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and a whole lot more! The super comfy bed, cozy armchair, kitchenette, and coffee station all exude the feeling of home. This space offers charm through carefully chosen unique period furnishings & accessories, balanced by personal hospitality touches and modern convenience. The location is so convenient. While in town we visited family, and also enjoyed scenic strolls through the neighbor to Tower Grove Park, and dining nextdoor at “Crafted”. Each day, after a busy afternoon or outing. we found it so refreshing to retreat to such a comfortable and relaxing space that felt like home away from home.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at one of their furnished apartments for 7 months. The rent was very competitive. They provided weekly cleaning and linen change. The owner was very friendly and was very prompt to address any issue. The laundry at the basement with 4 washer and 4 dryers which are enough for the need. $2 per load for each. Every major facilities are within 10 minutes drive. There is everything you need within walking distance, like groceries, restaurants, pharmacy etc. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Stayed at 1917 McPherson Avenue from May 22 to June 27, 2025 I had a wonderful experience. All amenities were exactly as listed. The housekeeper came every week and kept the place very well maintained. The apartment is in a great location, right next to the Central West End in a very safe neighborhood. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, and grocery stores like ALDI and Whole Foods were within walking distance. It is a perfect spot for anyone visiting Barnes Jewish Hospital or the Washington University Medical Campus, just a 15 to 20 minute walk away. The host, Karen, was incredibly helpful and always available. She even came by at 11 p.m. one night to assist us, which was truly above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I stayed in the beautiful Adler Suite for an extended stay and was sad when I had to leave. I absolutely loved everything about my stay and the beautiful neighborhood. Fantastic experience: First it was fully furnished with all the little extra details. Very homey very comfortable. We stayed long term, 5 months. Every Tuesday like clockwork they cleaned the apartment, fresh towels etc. cleanliness and friendliness was top priority . Not to mention the neighborhood, Central West End, restaurants, stores nearby and diverse. I personally 5 minutes away from the church I pastor. I could and did walk many times. Library only a few blocks away as well. Accommodations again very nice. For a first time Airbnb it was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I lived here moving from Hawaii. A huge and scary move, but the comfort and support I received from the staff and owners of the property was un-measurable! The studio I had provided character to match my boho style .. I miss that place. I never encountered any off setting problems from neighbors, in fact there was such a mixture of tenants that it made it pleasant to have conversations while coming and going. I remember the doorman Robert who always told me every time I left to work, "if no one has told you I appreciate you, " always starting my day off to a good start. Any problems with anything the staff was on it and made me feel like they cared, I loved that. I can't say enough about my memories of living in this cozy apartment that gave me while living in St. Louis a safe and easy access to everything. Location, price and livable to make you own little piece of comfort. That is how I feel about this place, worth it and I would easily go back if it was in my future. Fantastic experience: My son and recently moved back to Saint Louis about a month ago. The first 3 weeks were a living hell, due to the fact that we were living in an apt with many code violatons. I came across this wonderful company on either Zillow or Trulia. It's is family owned. One of the owners, Ms. Karen had such a beautiful spirit, that I decided to cancel all my other showings for that day. I met with a wonderful Property Manager named Ms. Anna and she showed me a few of their apts on Miami and Grand. I fell in love instantly and now I'm in one. They offer small and large studios and one bedrooms. They have locations on Grand the CWE area and lindell. The apts are a little pricey ,BUT absolutely worth it. UTILITIES are included. The apts are clean and well taken care of and put together. The people that work here are amazing, including maintenance. I would like to think all of you for helping me and showing me compassion and kindness. Also, thank you all for not judging me or my situation at that time. SF Shannon will work with you if you communicate and are honest. I highly recommend this company and approve of this message. Fantastic experience: I had a truly impeccable and welcoming experience here. I lived in St. Louis for five months for a study exchange, and I couldn’t have found a better place to stay during that time. Even though I was far from my home country, I felt completely at ease. The administrators were always cordial and helpful—every need I had was quickly resolved by talking to the team. They genuinely care for this place as if it were their own home! I stayed in one of the furnished studios, and it turned out to be much more than I expected from this type of apartment: it was clean, had all the utensils and space I needed for cooking, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and—best of all—thoughtfully chosen décor. Every corner of the apartment is designed down to the smallest details, making it feel cozy and inviting. At first, you might think the rent is a bit high, especially if you’re a student. However, once you factor in everything included (internet, TV, electricity, water, gas, laundry etc.), the price is very fair—actually comparable to what you’d spend elsewhere without all these amenities. Another highlight is the location. The Central West End neighborhood is one of the nicest and safest in St. Louis, and among the only ones—if not the only one—where you can do nearly everything on foot, especially grocery shopping. I didn’t have a car the entire time, and I managed just fine (which was one of my biggest concerns, since many U.S. cities aren’t walk-friendly). To reach the main WashU campus, where I worked during these months, I used a nearby bus stop that dropped me right in front of campus (Route 1, to Malinckrodt Center), then took the same bus back. If you’re a WashU med student, you can easily walk or bike to campus because it’s in the same neighborhood. I believe it’s also convenient for SLU students—bus and bicycle routes can get you there quickly as well. But if you are not a student, and just want a good place to stay in St. Louis for whatever reason, this place is for sure an excellent option! In short, I highly recommend it for both longer and shorter stays!

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Beckman for several days this week. We have stayed there previously ,as well as the apartment below it. We have always appreciated the attention to detail, hospitality, and responsiveness from Karen when there’s been any questions or concerns.. The Beckman was a great place to stay as it had been previously, it took a little bit of working with the radiators to get the heat just right. There was a barking dog upstairs, which Karen also helped to remedy. Highly recommend the Shannon group.

Fantastic experience: The rental unit I was in was absolutely charming. It was easy to check in, easy to find, and easy to love! Well furnished with lovely furniture, very comfortable, cozy place that is close to Central West End, yet so quiet at night for a peaceful rest. Snacks! Oh my gosh, they provided coffee, tea, and some goodies that came in handy when I craved some chocolate after dinner. Fantastic experience: One the best places I ever lived. I lived in the tiniest apartment there (and surely the tiniest I’ve ever lived) for one year. It is kinda old but served me well! But the management team was the thing that sold me. The best crew ever. They were patient, focused and helped me a lot (even when I had a problem with one of the neighbours). Fantastic experience: "The Vintage Ruby Red Fridge" I absolutely love the Tower Grove East Area. It is a tapestry of life and a sip of culture. "The Evelyn" is positioned next to the Craft restaurant ,which is an extra bonus. "The vintage ruby red fridge" was my delight! I have vacationed at "The Chopin", "The Elio", "The Schieder","Anna Retreat" and" The Evelyn". Each rental is the best of St. Louis. I have loved the historical and artful vibe of each rental. They are are clean and professionally orchestrated. The Rental process is fluid and easy. You take a piece of each rental with you. Fantastic experience: Great location and well stocked! Our son is in grad school and we have stayed in this building now 3 times. The location is a short walk to all of the CWE restaurants and shops and easy access to Forest Park. The apartments are well stocked (love the whole bean coffee and grinder), clean and very comfortable. The only thing to know is that the Adler backs up to an alley/parking lot that can be a bit noisy at night, but not too bad (a/c in the warm months helps and there is also a noise machine provided). Will definitely stay again

Fantastic experience: My husband and I stayed at the Oliver. After a long drive it felt like we had come home when we entered the apartment. Besides the comfortable furniture, it was decorated well. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. We were impressed with all the treats left out on the counter, the coffee table, and in the fridge and freezer. Our stay at the Oliver exceeded our expectations!

The apartment was clean and cozy, with thoughtful snacks and amenities. Fantastic experience: Great Spacious Apartment! Stayed at the Ulrich this weekend while in town for the UFL Championship game. What a great choice, the apartment was spacious and comfortable, thoughtful arranged and well stocked with the comforts of home. The location was great, nice safe neighborhood, restaurants and bar nearby. Close to downtown with a short drive or rideshare. Very easy check in and out process. Bed was very comfortable had a extremely restful sleep. Loved the snacks and mini breakfast food items they were thoughtful and came in handy especially if you're arriving late. Thanks again Rachel and Karen for another wonderful stay!

Negative experience: I recently stayed at Grand Center in the Chopin room. Originally booked the Targee but that room had steam leaking issues, so I was moved. It's a quiet building (inside) that is near everything. A bit dirty and really old but definitely has character. This place is oldddd, radiator leaking issues, loose and bowing floor boards. Pretty okay for the price.

Fantastic experience: My go to for reliable, affordable, well kept rental rooms in STL. Who needs air bnb ?! The entire team is so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The rooms are always clean, well supplied, and cozy. One of the first things I look for in rentals is a comfy bed with cozy bedding. Their beds are the best and there’s always an abundance of pillows and bedding. The little treats they put out to snack on, as well as light breakfast starters, are truly such a highlight. I have been booking with them since 2021 and they’ve always been such a delight. I will continue to book through them for all my staycation needs. Highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: This spot is perfect if you are visiting St. Louis and want a walkable location in the Central West End. My husband and I lived in this area for six years and returned for a wedding, and we felt immediately at home staying in The Oliver. We booked through AirBnB, but they also offer bookings outside that platform. The apartment is cozy without feeling cramped. They make excellent use of the space to make it feel larger than it is. The king sized bed is especially luxurious for an short-stay rental. There are several thoughtful touches: snacks from the hosts, extra towels, a well-stocked bookshelf that make you feel something extra that doesn't usually come from a transactional experience. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Eliot. Perfect location for our stay, The Fox Theater. Parking was easy to find. Karen was so attentive and helpful, provided us some tips about the area. It was perfect space for the two of us! The historic building was a bonus too!

I’m a huge history buff so staying somewhere historic had me in awe already, but the host was beyond accommodating and friendly! Extremely communicative and went above and beyond. There are so many little details and so much love poured into this experience, if I should ever find myself in the area again I will definitely be booking this place.

Fantastic experience: The Cambria apartment in St. Louis was comfortable, nicely decorated, well equipped and in a great location. Our hosts provided all the necessities as well as many extras. Communication with our hosts and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The Missouri Bontanical Garden, Forrest Park and the Gateway Arch National Park are close. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Those who have mobility issues might find the second floor location (no elevator) and the wide tub surround challenging. The hallways and stairwells need refurbishment and incurred a moment's hesitation upon first impression. We, however, felt safe in the building and the neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: Stayed at Anna's Retreat in Tower Grove for a short vacation rental. Wonderful little spot, clean & well maintained, very cute and cozy. Small but fully equipped with everything we needed. The snacks, coffee beans, and stuff in the fridge were a nice touch! It was a convenient location to all the attractions we wanted to see, the parking was great and access was easy. The corner restaurant/bar next door was pretty decent and was open late without being noisy. We would stay here again next time we're in town!

Fantastic experience: We visited St. Louis for one night to see the eclipse and we stayed in the Bennet apartment. The apartment is in a beautiful, historic building, with updated interiors and a tasteful blend of modern and antique furnishings. The whole apartment is very clean and comfortable and the hosts made it even more homey by providing drinks and snacks to welcome us. We were within easy walking distance of a short street with shops and a great pizza place, so that was an unexpected perk. Even on a busy weekend, we had no issues finding parking. We would recommend SF Shannon to anyone and would happily stay here again on our next trip to St. Louis!

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed staying at Herman's Hideaway! It was a beautiful apartment in a beautiful old building in a really nice area. We liked that the unit was at the top of the building on the 3rd floor. Karen was very responsive and instructions were detailed and thorough. Fantastic experience: This is a great apartment community to live in. The tenants are friendly ad the management is very caring and takes care of maintaining their properties.

Fantastic experience: We often visit St. Louis and always stay at an SFShannon property. We loved Herman's Hideaway because it is a roomy 2 bedroom apt. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. Full kitchen that had some goodies for us till we could get to the store. Great location.

Fantastic experience: I've lived in one of their studio apartments for three years now. Love, love, love my place. Scheduled bug treatments done periodically. Maintenance on buildings and inside apartments are timely and appropriately done. When my supplied refrigerator went out last year, maintenance brought another and installed the next day. Great place to live, my dogs love it too!

Fantastic experience: Karen was a wonderful host and very responsive and even gave us a late check out. The place was perfectly located in the CWE for what we were there for and felt very safe and well lit for a night stroll. Snacks were a nice bonus and the place was clean and well maintained. We would choose this over a hotel stay any day and will return if we are in the area again.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with SF Shannon. Prompt responses to questions. Easy check-in and out. We rented 3 units and each was comfortable with many thoughtful touches... Snacks, tissues, extra towels, comfy couch blankets and even a fantastic vintage backgammon board!!!

Fantastic experience: This is my third stay at the Ulrich suite and it is our favorite. It is comfortable, plenty of space to relax, and easy check in/check out. The unit is very nice and very pretty. Big kitchen with all the basics. We like it a lot!

Fantastic experience: I stayed at the Loft at Shenandoah and this place was hands down so cute and the hosts couldn't be more accommodating. I didn't have any issues during my stay, nor did I need to get in touch with the hosts as there were notes and instructions left throughout the house. The location is convenient and surprisingly not very noisy. I would book this space again and recommend going through SF Shannon for your future stays!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at the Ulrich Suite and we loved this place. So charming! Tons of extra touches. Comfortable bed. Beautiful location. Coffee, a few snacks. We loved hanging out in the huge kitchen having coffee in the morning. Bathroom size did not bother us. 1 person at a time it’s fine. You may hear people outside or above but I knew that going in and didn’t mind. When we got there it was freezing outside and she had it nice and toasty which was amazing but later we realized we couldn’t turn heat down without calling her, which you can no problem, but it was late and I felt bad to bother them. So just heads up if you like a cooler place call them and let them know. I would 10/10 stay again.

Fantastic experience: I have been living at one of the SF Shannon’s properties for a few years now. The management and all their workers are always pleasant. Always doing everything they can, so things run smoothly. They do their best to accommodate you whenever possible. Truly a delight living here. If you want a place to live where the owners, management, building maintenance workers are decent, wonderful, caring people - this is the place!

Fantastic experience: Have lived at one of their properties for 4 years. Love the friendly staff and quaint architectural details. The maintenance staff is professional and speedy. My only complaint is that there is no washer/dryer in the unit. On premises, yes. But as an older adult with disabilities on the 2nd floor, that addition would be nice. A lot of work, I know.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and caring staff! I am a long-term tenant and have been quite pleased with the building, and they are constantly upgrading and making it a safe place to live for all of us. Anna, Jesse, Karen, Rachel, and Kathy have always been understanding and caring. Maintenance personnel is friendly also. I like the fact that the building is very quiet.
