Negative experience: Unfortunately, for me and my family we had a rough time with this company. With the application process & layout of how strict they are when it comes to paperwork and knowing what we were up against disappointed me to say the least. Although Pedro was a pleasant help with having to resubmit certain documents that were already submitted. Once we fully submitted everything we then were told the applications had expired and had to then submit a new application and fee of $150 to go through the process all over again and still left to get the final decision of approval or denial. Which mean that we would have then gave this company $300 dollars to redo the process after go through what felt like the most difficult process ever dealing with a rental company unlike other companies. It was very disappointing especially because the home we were applying for was such a beautiful home, the neighborhood not so much. All in all the process is horrible and communication could be better, especially when you see a family trying to get all important documents and things in. Just a courtesy of letting the perspective applicants know of the timeframes and that was very disappointing as we went through all that to get knocked down. So we didn’t go back through the process with thinking if they are like this God must have a reason for this and something better will come about.

Negative experience: This review is for the homeowners that wants to find a property management company to manage their property. RPM managed my property for 10 years. I decided to terminate their service for the reasons that I listed below. 1. During the vacancy period from May 2024 to August 2024. They are using a lock box to store the key to show my property during rental posting period. Anyone contacting them can go to my property themselves alone, without supervision, and I was charged $301.25 for 29 billing days for the PG&E bill for the month of July. I asked RPM why a vacant property's PG&E bill is higher than my PG&E bill for my own house, and who was in the property. Their response was “The owner is responsible for paying for the electricity bill. There was no camera system so we didn't know who was there.” I received PG&E bills with an unusual amount for two months, for June, I was only paying $51.26 and that seems a reasonable amount for a vacant property. 2. I paid a total of $418 for a crew to come weekly to take care of that during the vacancy period. I received 3 notices from my property HOA regarding the fact that the landscape is not properly maintained. When I checked with RPM, this was their response, “the landscaper was going to the home every other week and cutting the grass/weeds but he was not watering the lawn as that is something that should happen more frequently than every two weeks, especially with the heat in Pittsburg,” My new property management company found out that because the water system never worked which RPM never brought this up to my attention. The water riser and main shut off valve are corroded and don’t work properly. 3. I paid $715 for deep cleaning. However, when I went to my property on June 1, 2024. The property wasn’t clean and trash was on the floor, sink and toilet were dirty. They are already showing my property to public. I did notify them for the issue, they said they will send someone to do another cleaning. But the fact that they posted my property to the public when it isn’t ready to show. They failed to do a good job on manage my property. They have to keep lower the rent amount they listed because no one wants to rent the property with the condition that are showing (check pics), 4. Sending me an invoice to pay for another property located in another city. When I inquired, they said the vendor made a mistake sending them the wrong one. So, they are not reviewing the invoice when they sending it to the owner and asking them to pay. Unbelievable! I saved all the emails and invoice and reported to BBB. 5.They were either not knowing the contract well or lied to me when I ask if I can terminate their service. I spoke to the manager in beginning of September, 2024 regarding the PG&E billing issue. When he refused to find a solution, I ask if I can terminate their service. He first said, "yes". Then when I asked if that will affect the new tenant’s lease, he then said, “oh if you have to terminate the service now, you have to pay us 12 months management fee as a penalty because you just renewed the tenant lease.” They sent me an email saying that they will remind me next year at the same time to terminate the service. After I review my property management agreement, I found out I only need to give them 30 days’ notice to terminate their service which I did right away. Their lack of knowledge in their professional area and failed to review their contract before provides an answer to their client have totally lost my trust for them to continue manage my property. 6. There are lots of issues that my new property management company had found after they took over . I had filed a complaint on BBB. Thanks for reading this long review. There’s a lot more but don’t want to waste everyone’ time to read more. I hope this will help you to avoid the headache that I had with this company.

Positive experience: The text approval to view properties is extremely slow. It can take up to an hour for a approval response via text. My approval came in 2 minuyes before I was ro view the property. It makes it hard to plan accordingly. Paolo was helpful as I was on the way to the property and he was able to send a code right away once I got there.

Positive experience: I had a pretty good experience working with Paola Perez at RPM Select. The process to self view properties went fairly well. Paola was very professional and able to answer all of my questions. The only issue I had was that they’re automated portal system asked me to upload my ID twice into their portal. However, when I spoke with someone, the issue was cleared up immediately. The viewing process went great. Overall, my experience with RPM Select was excellent!!!!!

Negative experience: I had originally rated this company and Paola a 5 star because at the beginning of searching for a rental Paola was great. But when I completed my review for her, per her request, all of her communication became minimal or not at all. If the property I was interested in was already in the process of being rented she could have informed me and I could have moved on rather than me continuing texting her with no response and seeing the rental on Zillow removed. I am very pleased to have found another agent at another company whose genuine customer service exceeded Paola’s.

My wife and I are so pleased with the professional and respectable service we receive from Stan who does the property inspections on our rental. It seems that he goes above and beyond to help us in resolving any problems we encounter. Just recently, during his inspection with us, he quickly fixed the air conditioning problem which put us at ease in not having to endure a hot summer and not having to wait for the vender to contact us. We are very impressed with the quality of care extended to us by your inspector, Stan, and will always welcome him during our inspections. Thank you Stan and RPM Select!

Negative experience: Worst experience with Pedro Quintanilla since the beginning he was not responding my emails or messages and he email me not to send múltiple emails , like hello if you would respond I wouldn’t up to today he has not informed me of my rental status everything was submitted,he informed me we will hear from him with approval or denial within 24 hrs, he has not bothered to email or call it has been 4 wks ,since the beginning I felt he was trying to find any little excuse to give me the push back or discriminating me . They just took my money for the application, if he do this to a lot of people he is making good money Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Real Property Management has been taking care of our property for several years now and have done a phenomenal job of taking care of issues that have come up, collecting rents and selecting tenants. Would recomend them to anyone needing property management services.

Negative experience: Usually I don’t leave reviews but in this case I wanted to warn others this company will modify your earning statements (which almost seems fraudulent) so that you don’t meet there income requirements. They collect their $50 application fee and don’t have to do any work. When you question why they deducted income listed on your statement they become very hostile and say you are implying they don’t know how to do their job. Fortunately I was able to meet Debi from Commonwealth Property Management, who was very kind and helpful. Save your self the application fee and avoid this company.
