Negative experience: I am a disabled vet and I came here and they told me that they help out veterans. They turned me down even though I have a guarantor and have more than enough money and have never ever been late on my rent and they know this because they talked to my current landlord. The Jewish gentleman up front told me over the phone that I missed payments. I find that quite defaming. This organization must have a prejudice against veterans is all I can think of. I will make sure that the Jewish population as well as the veteran population is aware of this underhanded company. All I was doing was trying to find a house for me and my kids. Be careful because they illegally told me that they charge for service dogs when that is against the law.

Fantastic experience: Samson Realty has been the rental agency for my duplex home in Rhode Island with great results so I thought I would use them to sell my single family home in Massachusetts. They brought the same professional service and expertise to the sale. Marty, Dave and Valerie toured inside and the whole of the outside and took flattering pictures. We sat and discussed appropriate pricing and they listened to me. I never felt they just wanted to sell the property quickly, but rather they wanted me happy with the process. I was and signed the paperwork; all in one visit. They conducted open house tours, at my request, but did tell me that most of their sales came from clients who contacted them directly or saw their website and asked for an individual tour. That is who bought my home. Sampson vetted them thoroughly, no issues with financing, and Marty was the calming reasonable voice during the inspection and negotiation process. I received the price I wanted and the entire process took less than two months from their tour to deed transfer. I highly recommend Samson Realty for rental and now sales service. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Second time using Samson Realty for a rental and truly give 5 stars. The entire process was smooth. However, Valarie made this time exceptional. Fifteen days before the 1st, Val recommended a condo (which matched EXACTLY what I was looking for) and at last minute rearranged her schedule to complete the walkthrough AND application process. Fantastic experience: I have been renting with Samson Realty for about a year and have had a great experience. Samson Realty helped me find a single bedroom apartment in the Fox Point area (that allows cats!) for below the average monthly rent of most other apartments I was able to find in the neighborhood. The landlord also has been very responsive and has a handyman who quickly assists in any issues I may have. Scheduling the initial walkthrough and visit went smoothly, and they gave me the lease to sign as soon as I had decided to rent with them. Samson Realty is a go-between of the landlord and the renter, so your experience may vary depending on the landlord, but I have been very satisfied with Samson Realty itself.

Negative experience: My wife and I have been looking for an affordable apartment for quite some time now and we still are. We've decided to come to Samson Realty after reading all the positive reviews. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by some guy who did not introduced himself at all by rudely asking "How can I help you?". Sounded like he might of been having a bad day or something. However, this is no excuse to treat your clients rudely. My wife informed him that we are looking for an apartment that is pet friendly or at least accepts service animals because we do have a legitimate service dog. He asked, "What's your price range and what's your credit score?" Then after answering his questions, he asked "why do you have a service dog? What kind of service does the dog provide?" My wife has medical issues and a service dog helps her tremendously. He rudely continues to asked "what kind of medical issues does my wife have and what purpose and tasks does the dog provide?" We were completely uncomfortable being in there, like we were being questioned in an old police precinct. Legally, he, nor anyone cannot asked those questions. After all this, he ends with, "I'm sorry but we can not help you. You have low credit and we have nothing that you can afford." Seriously? He did not even take our names, have us fill out any paperwork, nothing. Just a "Sorry but we can't help you". My wife left there in tears. We are still out there looking for an apartment but all we find are scams and ridiculously high priced apartments with pet restrictions. Having a service dog is not considered having a pet. We should not be denied an apartment because of it. This is illegal. Our credit isn't great nether but at least the guy could have taken our info or have us fill out an application to check our credit or whatever it is they do. We were treated extremely poorly here and we are highly disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Sampson Realty regarding a rental analysis on a property to resolve an issue I was having in a contract negotiation. I spoke with David who was tremendously helpful in not only providing the information requested, he questioned me about the deal and used his tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience to suggest another possible scenario that would be amenable to all parties and resolve the problem. His suggestion proved fruitful and I am grateful for his insight and wisdom. I give high accolades to David and his team at Sampson Realty.

Fantastic experience: Ken and the rest of the staff have been amazingly helpful and friendly while helping my roommate and I find a place. They are very responsive and willing to answer all of our questions and concerns. Especially Ken, he let us take our time looking at the places and did not rush us through our tours. Negative experience: Such a disappointment when i talked to a realtor. He seem nice, but the company policies are beyond what an average person has as “credit score”! They expect excellent credit and not fair credit which is what i have and most people have! They don’t even see how much of a great tenet with no evictions and great references a person can have-one being from the landlord i have now! Also a working person with good ethics! I also felt like they reject people with housing vouchers too!!! Which is against the law now!! Companies like this make it hard for people to find living!! So sad!! Once they hear fair credit which is not bad credit-forget it-they don’t even let u get to the second step-they don’t even look at the report!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I stayed at the Boulder Farms townhomes while our home was being built. The units were new and well maintained and the handy man made himself readily available to support any of the few issues we had. When we had to extend our stay to accomodate the home build, Samson realty was very supportive with the extension as well as the monthly price. They were also really good about returning the security deposit when we left the place good as new.

Fantastic experience: I'd been looking at an apartment building a mile down the street from my work for two years, waiting for something to open up. One did a year ago and I spoke to the company's management, but before I could see the place it was gone. Time passes and a year later another apartment opened up. This time I called Samson Realty. They confirmed a place was open at closing time Thursday evening. Feeling like time was short, I walked into Samson Realty on Friday and met Nick. He was professional and took down my relevant information. When could I see the apartment? When can I move in? With who? My credit score etc. I told him about my experience losing the last apartment and how important it was for me to move quickly. Nick agreed to show me the apartment that afternoon. After seeing the place and signing the paperwork he said I needed to put a deposit down to hold the apartment. In fact, looking at the calendar (and showing it to me) there was an appointment to show it to someone else the next day (Saturday). I needed to go get a check and it was 5pm Friday night. Without that deposit, someone else could possibly see the place, put down a deposit and I would be out of luck. Nick agreed to meet me at 7PM on FRIDAY NIGHT at their office to finish the paperwork make sure the apartment was held for me. The rest of the process was easy. I signed an electronic lease, dropped off the security deposit (my first check was now my first month's rent), and I had keys to begin moving on Tuesday. Finding an apartment is tough right now, especially if you are looking in an area that has very little available. A few months earlier I had tried renting a small house in the same town, and although the only advertisement was a "for rent" sign on the lawn that you had to see while driving past, I was one of 25 people in competition for the house. I made it to the top 5 candidates, but the owners went with someone else. It was so refreshing to see the "Walk In's Welcome" sign in front of Samson. So refreshing to know I'm talking to the right people, in person, not just leaving messages with the owners, the management, Zillow or Redfin and waiting/hoping for a reply. So refreshing to know it wasn't a contest of who the owners liked more based on their first impression. It was a fair, first come, first served, sign on the line, pay the money, pass the checks, and here are your keys. Professionalism first is great, but on the human side of things Nick understood my situation and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and that my mind was at ease. He texted me where to go, when to be there and that it was ok that traffic held me up a few mins. Samson Reality is a company you want to work with. They are the right people to call. I apologize for the lengthy review. I don't normally review anything, but as I'm moving in the last of my things and looking around at the apartment I'd been trying to get for two years, that Nick and Samson got me in 2 days, I can't help but feel gratitude. Fantastic experience: Samson Realty should focus on becoming a space program because they went above and beyond! Coming from out of state, we had a limited amount of time to find a place. While walking around town on the Sunday before Fourth of July, we came across Samson Realty. We did not expect anyone to be in office but, to our delightful surprise, David was! He was incredibly friendly and spent some time determining what we wanted out of a place and set up some showings for the following day, our last day in town. We met and looked at a few places with Valerie, who came in on her day off! She was super friendly and happy to show us the units. The units were all great units but none of which we would say was "love at first sight" for us. We wanted a few days to mull over our options and think it through. Now this is when the story gets fun. On the train back to Boston to catch our flight, we got a text from Valerie with a new property that became available. From the video that she sent us, our curiosity was piqued. So piqued, in fact, that we got off the train at the first stop we could to take the next one back!! All so we can see this new place. It was love at first sight. Everything we wanted in a place, we got. If it was not for the hard work of everyone at Samson Realty, we would still be looking for an apartment. They went above and beyond, were helpful and friendly, and went the extra mile for us.

Negative experience: I rate Samson one star or less because I was interested in viewing a property and spoke with Beverly regarding a date and time. I informed her of my schedule and my finances and met all criteria for apartment. Not only did she no show for the appointment, I called the office and she didn’t have me down on the schedule. I went on my lunch break as we agreed. She texted me about 10 mins after our scheduled appointment stating she will call me me back . I never got a call back ever. This was such a waste of my time and extremely inconsiderate. I would never use them again.
