Positive experience: The Metalios Team used photos for their current listing in Stamford, CT that were originally photos from when we sold that house in 5/2023. I believe it is extremely disrespectful, unethical, and completely misleading when the photos of the listing are of my personal belongings, furniture, and decorations from 18 months ago. Also, some of the photos show personal photos of my children in them. I have contacted this team regarding this matter and their response was your agent sold us the photos. The photos are 18 months old, and completely misleading. **Update** Danny Arroyo - Thank you for contacting us immediately, your understanding and professional attitude was very much appreciated. Although, I do not agree that our photos should have been used as it is extremely misleading to any new buyer. I do want to express my thanks for removing the photos that were discussed. Fantastic experience: Joy and her team at Houlihan Lawrence did an absolutely outstanding job selling my mother’s home - the home I grew up in that she and my late father had owned for 46 years before his passing in September of 2022. Joy was able to sell the home at 40% over asking price in a difficult real estate market for sellers. She had perfect judgement as to how to get the best price. The team kept my Mom and I informed every step of the way and were incredibly responsive. As an example, when I first called Joy she offered to come over to see the home the same day, and wound up coming over the next day due to our schedules. Then she led my Mom and I through the process of sale and was able to get an extremely competitive offer (all cash with no contingencies other than underground oil tank removal) in less than a week after listing. Joy also had great recommendations for an attorney, David Hopper, who we were very happy with, as well as a home organizer, Matt Baier, who also did an outstanding job in getting the house cleaned out and organized for sale and my Mom’s move. Joy and her team are also incredibly thoughtful about the “little things.” They put together a book of pictures of the house that my Mom greatly appreciated, had dinner delivered to us one night while we were packing out the house, and Joy even stopped by in person on multiple occasions just to check in before closing. From the first meeting, I could tell Arielle had a great interest in us finding our "dream home". As we began house hunting in March Arielle was always very timely when responding to our requests. We visited houses that I selected typically within the next day of the request. Arielle drove up and down Norwalk and Stamford with us for months. She was very patient throughout the entire search. Once finding our prospective home in November she always kept lines of communication open throughout and she also partook in the inspection and final walk throughs. We did not close until February but Arielle made sure that every part of the process was smooth and that we had complete understanding, which was greatly appreciated.
