Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Alabama from Indiana, almost 3 months ago, and honestly, the conditions of this house has caused me to truly regret my decision. I had only been here 3 weeks when the tub cracked!! Not only did it crack, but the base under the tub was completely molded. I reached out to Revitalize Realty,Melissa Ellis to be exact, to Informed them of my concerns. It took over a month, just for someone to come out and look at the tub. I have a four-year-old son and due to the crack in the tub and me being afraid that he would hurt himself, I had to bathe my son in the kitchen sink for weeks! When someone finally came out to fix the tub, they did absolutely nothing but put a piece of plywood down I noticed that the exterior wall, where the tub is placed was also not insulated which explains why the house is freezing cold all the time (unless I have the heat on) and it’s working over time. Furthermore, the second bathroom toilet was not connected to any piping! This means that All of the bodily waste from that toilet was going directly under the house. I also reached out to Melissa Ellis at Revitalize Realty and she completely disregarded the serious was of this situation. When someone came out to look at the bath toilet I asked them How did they plan on cleaning up all of the waste that was under the house and they did not give me an explanation. They just left it there. Lastly, I have been here almost 3 months and there is a new issue. The Main pipe of the house is completely blocked. This caused more bodily waste to shoot out of a pipe in my backyard!!! When I put in the work order for this maintenance issue, I got an email saying that the work order have been canceled. Do not rent from Revitalize Realty because they clearly do not care about the health conditions and the safety of the people that rent their properties.

Negative experience: As a property owner, I believe it is important to share my experience with this property management company for the benefit of other owners. This company is no longer managing my property, and one of the primary reasons for that decision was the handling of repairs. Unauthorized repairs were completed without my approval, and I was charged for work that I personally completed myself, yet the company claimed their contractor performed it. Although the funds were eventually returned to my account, they continued to stand by their claim that their contractor completed the repair. Several repairs performed by their contractors were poorly executed and did not last. Despite the substandard workmanship, I was charged as if extensive renovation work had been done. Unfortunately, these inadequate repairs have led to ongoing issues. I currently have a tenant experiencing mold problems directly related to repairs this company was paid to address. I am now forced to correct and redo work that should have been completed properly the first time, resulting in additional expense and disruption for both myself and my tenant. I strongly advise other property owners to closely monitor their properties, carefully review repair invoices, and verify that any work claimed by management or their contractors was actually completed—and completed correctly. Do not rely solely on reports or work orders. From an owner’s standpoint, my experience required constant oversight and ultimately resulted in additional costs to fix issues that should never have occurred. Proceed with caution and remain actively involved if you choose to work with this company.

They are there when you need them. They are honest and hard working. Her quick responsiveness and care regarding a friend's property really meant a lot to me at a time when my friend really needed the help of an honest, dependable property manager.
