Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest, when I applied with Mesa Properties, I was nervous after all of the rigorous questions and requirements we went through during the application process. Signing the lease felt like I was signing my life away while reading over all of the legal jargon and rules for renting the home. However, Mark was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. He was my property manager for the last three years until we moved to purchase our new home. Every request we submitted was handled quickly and Mark and his team always stayed in good communication about everything that was going on. Our bi-yearly inspections always went smoothly and only took a few minutes. The portal to pay rent was easy and had helpful documents we used to aid in our move out process. It contained our move in photos. Mark informed us to make sure we did a very thorough deep clean (ie, baseboards, walls, ceiling fans, professional carpet clean, inside and outside appliances, light fixtures, window sills and tracks) and to match the photos of the condition of the home with the move in condition and we did, then we got 100% of our deposit back! I was so nervous after everyone’s horror stories of their experiences with other landlords and management companies that they had done the cleaning and didn’t get their deposits back. But despite that I kept on cleaning and it payed off, literally! Mark also does pre move out inspections to help point out anything he thinks you need to do to help get the deposit back. We broke our lease 2 months early. Mark was understanding and said he would do his best to get the property rented out quickly to minimize the amount of money we would have to pay in rent while we were no longer there (since we are still liable for it for breaking the lease.) He worked a Christmas miracle and new tenants moved in 23 days after we left, so we also got a prorated refund for the rent we paid for December since the new tenants would be paying the last few days, and now we don’t have to pay for January! We did have to pay a marketing fee of $799. Still, saved us a lot of money and I’m grateful to him for making the process so smooth. Long story short, I highly recommend Mark and his team as a property manager!

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue on my end. I was a happy tenant with Mesa Properties for 12 years. We planned to buy a house off and on throughout that time, but Mesa made it so easy to keep renting. Our homeowner was exceptional as well. During COVID we didn’t see any rent increases, and the few increases we did have over the years were very reasonable. The customer service from Mesa was consistently solid. Communication was prompt, clear, and accurate. I watched Mesa grow from a small company into what they are today, and they never lost sight of who they are. We were lucky enough to buy a home about a month ago, and we will genuinely miss our Mesa family, especially our property manager, Verenice Alvarado. Verenice was great to work with and always on top of everything. If you are looking to rent a home, Mesa will take care of you and make the process simple. And if you end up on Meadowmeer Lane, you hit the jackpot. You will have an incredible homeowner and a beautiful home in an amazing neighborhood. Take care of it. Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service and takes care of all my property issues. I literally have no headaches or worries. All costs and repairs are documented each month and e mailed to me. Fee very reasonable. I do want to give a shout out to Verenice Alvarado who has been my rep for years now. I can be very demanding and she rises to the occasion every single time. Great follow through and quick response to my questions. I tend to question everything and she patiently explains the details. I also request multiple appraisals and have asked her to go back to a vendor to explain the costs. And she takes care of it. She's definitely focussed and always courteous to me.

They gave me such piece of mind, worry free. The thing that I like the most about Verenice Guardado Alvarado,, the property manager that helped me for the last 3 years is that she kept me posted with every thing that happened to my property at a timely manor and will make sure that I approved with all the work before proceeding! Negative experience: By far the worst property management place out there. They expect you to pay rent right on the 1st with no grace period or you get a big fat fee. If you want to have something fixed that broke in your house they will either take forever or say they have someone coming but do not come at all than try to charge you for it even know you told them. Just a horrible 3 year experience with mesa properties. I would try to steer clear of them if you can.

He was very professional and polite just like everyone we have engaged with at Mesa. What a class act. He even showed me how to put a filter on as I wasn't sure. Fantastic experience: Mesa Properties saved the day! Their processes are top tier and require a bit of heavy lifting but it paid off immediately! Luckily I had everything prepared to list the property, upon a rent ready inspection, I found i had missed a couple of tasks that I wouldn't have noticed since I was so busy. With the help of Mesa Properties, I was able to tackle it quickly, getting the home ready for listing. With in 48 hours, I had more views and saves than I ever did in my two months of listing my home independently. Mesa Properties has allowed me to have a stress free time taking care of my mortgage, especially with me being an "Accidental landlord". Now I can get back to focusing on just my career and family. Fantastic experience: I’d like to share this post with Mesa Properties. A couple of weeks ago I had an emergency that my hot water heater in the Garage sprung a very bad leak . I reached out to Mesa Properties right away as they responded promptly that they were sending someone out. They gave me their phone numbers I was able to contact them to explain the problem, so they knew what they needed to do or bring when they came out. The bad things are you never know when things like this happen. I was lucky to have my 18-year-old grandson at the house to assist as he contacted me over the phone and I walk him though shutting the water off until help arrived. The contractor came out, told him the situation this things happen and by the end of the next day they replace my hot water heater with a new one that made me feel good hassle. contacting the contractor Paul was very professional from Guillen family plumbing There was a minor drywall that needs to be repaired but everything was in the garage and repairs were like if it never happened. You know things today it’s hard to find good service for people that rent properties. Mesa Properties really looks out for their tenants and their needs. I’m very happy renting a property from them. Positive experience: Julie did our annual inspection for the second time. She's efficient so the inspection goes quickly and shes always professional and friendly. Overall, our experience with Mesa has been good and we are satisfied. They are quick to act on any issues that need to be addressed and there's no quibbling if something needs to be repaired or replaced. They communicate well to let us know when service is arranged and follow up to ensure everythings been taken care of. They have helpful videos for common issues so you can try to resolve minor issues on your own, like a stuck garbage disposal. The contractors they work with are professional and take care of the work quickly. My only negative comment and the reason why Im not rating them as 5 stars would be the monthly renter's benefit program we are forced to participate in. It's $39.95 in addition to the rent. It covers a filter replacement every three months which is delivered to you, basic renters insurance, reporting your rental payments to credit bureaus (you can do that on your own for free), and real estate assistance if you want to buy a home. For the air filter, I usually buy the gold level which removes more allergens and I replace every 1-2 months for sinus and allergy reasons. With their benefit package I'm forced to pay for theirs which is standard filter and the cost is $30 ($10 per month). The only item you can opt out of is the renters insurance but the process to use a different carrier is confusing and somewhat complicated to make sure the coverage has what Mesa requires and the carrier has a specific type of rating. The Pinata portal that allows reporting of your rental payments has a rewards aspect but once ainregiaterd, I started getting all kinds of spam email so I won't be using the rewards. The portal is supposed to automatically report my rent payments but I've found a couple missing so I have to go in and manually report it too. With all that in mind, their benefit package doesn't have much in benefits to me for the cost. With that said, I realize they are trying to ensure the house is kept in good condition for the owner and I've been asked to pay for expenses through other property management companies, that were far more ridiculous than this. We love the house we rent and want to continue renting it so we think of it as a necessary expense.

Fantastic experience: I've heard horror stories in the past about shady property management companies. As a matter of fact, I've experiend those stories first hand. It is reasonable that I had no reason to believe that these guys were any different. I could not have been more wrong. Every single person I dealt with went out of their way to make this whole process as quick and painless as possible. From the initial inquiries to the tours even down to working with me to get all of the documents and paperwork done in what I would consider to be a short time frame this has been a wonderful experience. What takes this whole experience to the next level is the fact that they were able achieve this level of customer service while I was 2 states away packing my family and taking care of my business. Thus has been one super stressful move and i am happy to let whoever is reading this know that none of that streas was due to mesa properties. Quite the opposite in fact. Fantastic experience: Substantially better ever since Mesa Properties has taken over the property management of the house I'm Leasing. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner, routine safety inspections of the property and everything is handled online through a phone app.

Fantastic experience: Our breaker panel to our house went out we had no electricity and I'm on 24-hour oxygen continuous and they had somebody here within the first hour. I'm so appreciative of Mesa properties they always handle our requests in a very timely manner they're an awesome property management.

She is very patient and responsive with our questions and/or concerns. We have dealt with other property managers, and all of them combined could not hold a candle to her. Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting through Mesa Properties for 11 years now and they’re one of the best rental agencies I’ve had. Most everything can be handled online, they’re quick to respond to maintenance requests and they never gouge you with rent increases every year we renew our lease. I recommend Mesa Properties to everyone I know, and if I had to rent forever then I’d only rent with them!

Fantastic experience: I would like to share that when ever there is a problem they respond in a timely manner. I also enjoy the house it is what I always wanted it a rental. I would like to say that Julie was very respectful when entering my home asked questions to ensure that everything was fine with the home. She is a very welcoming person.

Negative experience: i had really bad experience with this management company. first they rent my house to someone with credit score of 400 and with several bankrupcy. the first 2 tenant has always had problem paying the rent that i had to evict them. then the management agent used his dad to fix my house and charged me a large amount. My monthly payment is always short that i have to call them and ask them why my money is short almost every month. After using this company for several years they send me an email and said that they are going to raise my management fee. i called them and tell them that i am not willing to pay extra and if they are gonna raise my management fee i am gonna switch to othet company. the broker first told me that since i have been with them for a long time, they are not gonna raise my management fee, but later they denied what they said and charge me more fee. i recently just found out that one of the tenent is their employee who is not paying the rent and i have to evict him. since all this years that i use mesa property management the broker has refused to raise my rent yearly which made my rent way lower then the market. and now i know why. it is because they rent it to their own employee. i will never recoment this company.

Mark has been my property manager for a while and he is always on the top of everything when it comes to repair, move in/ out inspections , or manage to find qualified tenants…. Mark always responds promptly to my texts/ emails and keeps me posted on any changes on the status of the property.
