Negative experience: We made an offer to buy a flat. As part of the process, we signed a reservation contract that stated our money would be returned within 30 days, if our offer was not accepted. When our offer was not accepted, we requested our money back. A week later, the agent messaged us to request our IBAN so they could send the money. 20 days later, they requested that we write an email requesting our money back. 10 days later, I asked if there was a hold up. I have been phoning, emailing, messaging and sending carrier pigeons every few days since, to deafening silence. In the meantime, they have our 3.5k euros. 56 days and counting. Not a single response from anyone at Lucas Fox.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, extremely bad experience. They do not follow the conditions in the contract. They do not want to refund the money for a reservation, even though several denials for a mortgage from different banks were submitted. Now we have engaged a lawyer and will try to reclaim our money through the court. This real estate is not serious and I would definitely not recommend it, it only brings loss of time and hassle.

Negative experience: 7 Nov 2022 Update. A response on the below reply of Lucas Fox Thanks for your response. First, Lucas Fox Xabia has our contact details. We have made a down payment for a house which we have not received back and all our details have been left behind. These have not changed. The last contact was on July 11 with Lucas Fox stating that they were still working on it and would get back to it in 2 weeks. The contact was then with Loraina from the head office. As you can read in our comments, we never heard back after that. We did receive a registered letter from Lucas Fox Xabia, asking us kindly but urgently to remove these comments because we would discredit them. We don't understand that Lucas Fox Xabia just don't respond and they are now also pretending to you that they have already given a response and that it would be solved. We are still waiting for a substantiation here. 16 Sept 2022 Update. Still nothing heard from Lucas Fox. Keep you posted. 10 August 2022 Update. On July 11, we finally received a message via Whatsapp from Lucas Fox with the following message: "Dear madam, we are working on it. I hope I will call you this week" On July 22 we sent them a message that we haven't heard anything yet. We are now on August 10 and as we expected We didn't hear from Lucas Fox after that. 1 July 2022 update. Haven't heard anything from Lucas Fox headquarters of the investigation yet. Received a letter from Lucas fox Javea stating that they have done nothing wrong and that we are now discrediting their company. It's nice how they suddenly turn the tables after months while they themselves again and again do not respond and are probably stretching time in the hope that it will all be forgotten. 7 June 2022 2 weeks ago Lucas Fox started the investigation (after months now...). No update to date. Update: 19 may 2022 Thanks for your reaction below. We read that they have tried to contact us? We have whatsapp contact and the last contact months ago is that they investigate the issue. We then replied that we still have all emails in which the whole story is clearly stated again and that we can deliver everything. To date we have not received any response. Contacted them again and they say it is now being investigated. We are 3 months further... Or they try to prolong it in the hope that we won't respond anymore. Unfortunately a very bad experience with Lucas Fox location Xabia handled by Emma. After the down payment of the reservation costs, the seller did not fulfill his agreements. He changed his agreements every time, which ultimately resulted in the sale not going through. We have now lost the reservation costs and no response at all from Lucas Fox and also not from the head office. Unfortunately, we also heard too late in the area that Lucas Fox Xabia already has a pretty bad reputation. Update: They contacted us to hear the story again which we had already emailed to them. They would come back to this. This was mid-March 2022. So far, nothing has been heard from them and they are no longer responding at all. Not what you expect from such a company.
