Negative experience: We have experienced a surreal situation with this real estate agency and we are convinced that we are not the first. First, I want to state that this review is not directed at the Bahia Home team, their service has been correct. This review is for the director of the agency, Dolores Gonzalez Mesto: we wanted to buy a property, and from the beginning, she gave us an impression of little transparency and manipulation of information, playing with what she told us about the seller and what she might tell them about us. We made an offer for the furnished house and after negotiating the price, the offer was accepted. When they sent us the draft contract, we read everything in detail and realized that the annex for furniture had been replaced with another where instead of the furniture from our signed and accepted offer, structural elements of the house such as 'shower tray' or 'built-in sink' appeared. We tried to clarify the misunderstanding by pointing out that the furniture from the offer was missing. We visited the house again and managed to talk with the owners… to our surprise, the offer they had received for the house was NOT the same as ours, as the annex of the furniture had been omitted. When we went to sign the deposit and clarify this issue, this woman 'Dolores' did not show up. We asked to see her and clarify it with her and they told us she was very busy. We responded that she knew perfectly well why we were there and that we were not going to leave until she came to clarify it. Finally, she entered with an arrogant attitude, without apologizing, saying that the offer she passed was the same for both parties. We presented our signed offers and asked her to clarify why they were not the same. She defended herself by saying that she did give the same offer. We asked to see her signed copy and she didn’t have it. They brushed off the misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that amounts to almost 30,000 euros in furniture, and she defends herself saying that she doesn’t negotiate furniture. We asked her, in that case, for an explanation of why she makes annexes with furniture and why she asks the owner for a list and value of their furniture. She did not respond and maintained her version. The coldness and nonchalance of lying to the buyers and sellers left both parties stunned. Someone who makes a mistake or is doing this for the first time does not act with such shamelessness. We both requested a complaint form and to consumer protection, we will see if someone puts a stop to this woman. Attached is a photo of the complaint form.

Negative experience: Terrible real estate agency in terms of management and treatment. I contacted them to rent an apartment, made the reservation, and paid the deposit; however, at no point was I informed that I was not the only person making that reservation. Ultimately, they told me that I had not been selected by the owner to rent the property. Therefore, unknowingly, I had been 'competing' with other people who had also made the reservation. The best part is that I wrote, in a more than polite manner, to the sales representative Silvia, with whom I had all my conversations, to express my discontent with this situation, and she left me on read. I find it very unprofessional for a client to write to you and not even bother to respond. Without a doubt, I would not recommend this real estate agency at all.

Negative experience: I feel obligated to modify my review because although the service was good at first, I encountered a huge problem later on. I bought a property with 'suspicious' neighbors above, and both the real estate agency and the owner told me that they 'had never caused any problems.' After the purchase, I discovered that they had been having issues with the community for years, and even the previous owner had left due to anxiety, which they concealed in very bad faith. As of today, I am looking into how to report the case and claim both from the real estate agency and the owner for hidden defects in the property.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience with this company was not as good as one might expect given the comments. We rented an apartment through Bahia Home. Lovely first-hand treatment, so we acted in good faith at all times, which we shouldn't have done; we relied heavily on the published photos, only to realize, once everything was signed, that the apartment and the furniture were not in the best condition, including ongoing work on the facade, as well as some necessary repairs inside the apartment. While the owner of the property is quite an unpleasant person, it is true that Bahia Home never got involved or tried to mediate when we left the apartment in a rather unfortunate way. In my opinion, Bahia Home had their hand out when it came to collecting the commission, always siding with the property owner, forgetting that it is the tenant who is paying them. In summary, with these people, there are few concessions, everything is very clear, and if you can avoid them, better.

Negative experience: They are a bunch of shameless people. I made an offer for a rental flat that was accepted and signed by the owner, setting a date for the signing of the final contract and the handover of keys, so I arranged the Madrid-Santander move for the next day. On the signing day, having not heard from them, I called to confirm the time, and it was at that moment they told me that the owner had backed out and didn’t want to rent us the flat, and that, basically, it was tough luck. I told them I was losing money on the moving company by canceling it the day before and that, therefore, I was requesting an immediate refund of the deposit and the payment of the penalty that they verbally assured me I would receive if the owner backed out... and they said no, that if I wanted it, I would have to go to court, that this wasn’t signed, that this clause was only put in writing for sale transactions because in rentals 'nothing usually happens'.... What was the result? I had to visit four other properties that same day and sign one on the spot to be able to move and not lose my money. It goes without saying that at no point did they offer me an alternative or take me to visit other flats they had, as would be the norm. And do you know why they didn’t give me any solution and ignored me? Because the owner was a friend of one of the girls. I repeat, they are a bunch of unprofessional people, to put it mildly.

Fantastic experience: Me gustaría hablar sobre la excelente labor de Conchi en Bahía home. Desde un principio me sorprendió mucho su forma de ser profesional. Primero, siempre con una sonrisa de esas no forzadas, que te pone en un ambiente cálido y de confianza. Y luego esa confianza se veía reforzada cuando nos hablaba de los defectos o inconvenientes de tal o tal piso, pero no sin antes remarcarnos sus cualidades. Hacía que me sintiera cómodo a la hora de decidir. Sin presiones pero con una atención casi amistosa. Y sobre todo con mucha paciencia porque yo soy de los que me cuesta decidir. Además ella entendió muy bien que yo buscaba sensaciones o vibraciones positivas. Y adaptó las visitas a esa característica. Estoy seguro que si fuese pragmático cambiaría su forma de enseñarme los pisos. Porque veo en ella una gran inteligencia emocional. Y de todas las inmobiliarias que hemos consultado, ella fue la única que estaba encima de nosotros proponiéndonos pisos continuamente.
