Our real estate agency gave sufficient notice as stipulated by the Urban Lease Law, five months before the five-year term ended, that the owners were returning to Madrid due to job transfers and that they would not renew the contract. The Lease Agreement was signed on April 15, 2019, and you left the apartment on October 15, 2024. You were promptly informed when the property provided us with news about the dates of your transfer. The property stated that the apartment was not clean upon delivery and that one of the bathrooms had a significant blockage. When rented, the apartment was newly renovated and in excellent condition. The property deducted this from the deposit and returned it directly from their bank account to your roommate's bank account without passing through our hands. (The real estate agency offered that you send a cleaning person so that the property would not deduct it from the deposit, but you declined).
