Negative experience: Sono una dottoranda italiana che nei mesi di Ottobre-Novembre ha avuto la possibilità di studiare presso l'Università di Salamanca. Ho stipulato un contratto con questa agenzia per una stanza in Avenida de Comuneros. L'esperienza non è iniziate bene in quanto avevo ricevuto informazioni completamente forvianti rispetto a quello che poi ho avuto una volta arrivata. Come prima cosa, appena arrivata in casa ho scoperto che mi avevano truffata facendomi firmare il contratto per una camera, ma al mio arrivo la camera a me destinata era un'altra ed era di dimensioni molto inferiori. Secondo punto: al mio arrivo mi è stata chiesta una commissione di 100 euro in contanti dall'agenzia, quindi non tracciabile, che, confrontandomi con gli altri inquilini, era stata chiesta solo a me (forse perchè straniera?). Terzo punto: chi si è occupata del mio contratto, nonostante l'avessi esplicitamente chiesto, non mi aveva indicato che in casa erano tutti maschi, anche persone adulte, nonostante io stessi cercando una casa di studentesse. Nonostante tutti questi iniziali problemi, il peggio è arrivato solo alla fine. Dopo due mesi lascio l'appartamento, come da contratto, con la promessa che avrei riavuto la mia caparra, peccato che ad oggi sono passati 5 mesi e non ho ancora ricevuto nulla. L'addetta dell'agenzia al mio contratto e il proprietario di casa non hanno più nemmeno risposto ai miei messaggi. Non ho ricevuto una motivazione, nè scuse, nè nulla. Ma non vi vergognate di rubare dei soldi a delle studentesse? Questa è una truffa a tutti gli effetti, ed ho il contratto a dimostrarlo.

Negative experience: I rectify. Two months after paying them, they are not so nice anymore. It turns out that when I entered the house, the previous owners had taken things that they were supposed to leave behind; there’s no way to prove it since they can’t even make a simple list. When I check the whole house, I find hidden defects in the walls, cracks, and even a hole next to the window. Their response? 'You just need to give it a coat of paint.' Two months after moving in, the boiler breaks down, you write to them, and they don’t even respond. Once you've paid, they wash their hands of it and leave you to deal with it. I wouldn’t repeat this even as a joke… they are only interested in selling, and once they sell to you, it’s goodbye. If you’re looking for an apartment out there, it’s better to have someone else assist you; because if Jaime assists you, you're sold if you want to claim something.
