Fantastic experience: Patxi and his team made our dream come true. After living in the US and UK, and spending several months looking, we were able to buy our dream apartment. Without Patxi’s local knowledge and network we wouldn’t have been able to secure it due to how competitive the market in San Sebastián is. There is just not enough options of top apartments for a good price like to hire someone that will not do everything in their power to get you the apartment that you want. Don’t waste your time hiring someone without this much experience and true end to end service (initial search, investment options, rental management network, etc). They for sure are very, very busy, but they are busy because people know that they are the best, will do whatever is needed (within the legal boundaries of course) and things take time. We are beyond thankful.

Negative experience: I don't give zero stars because otherwise I can't post the review. We had an appointment in Zumaia to see a house and they didn't show up. When we tried to contact them, they said we didn't have an appointment. When I told them I had the emails of the conversation and that we had obtained the phone number from the email, they made the excuse that the house was under construction and that they were no longer going to show it. I find it disrespectful and very unprofessional. I will never go to this real estate agency again.

Fantastic experience: As North Americans looking to buy a vacation home in San Sebastian, Spain, the prospect was a daunting one … until we met Patxi Comas. While the overall process is similar to buying property in the US, many of the particulars are different and the language barrier would have made things difficult. Patxi is a lifelong resident of San Sebastián so he knows the local ins and outs, and he speaks fluent English so communication was easy. Patxi is literally a one-stop shop: he was our realtor who showed us available properties meeting our criteria and budget, but also facilitated the necessary meetings and paperwork with banks, notaries, attorneys (to discuss potential visa options), and the like — we wouldn’t have known where to begin on our own, and Patxi’s help clearly saved us tons of time and potential frustration. Furthermore, Patxi connected us with local architects/contractors to renovate our apartment flat, as well as visiting recently renovated flats so that we could get a sense of the finished work. He also arranged a meeting with another foreign client at their flat currently undergoing renovation, so that we had an opportunity to ask questions and get a better sense of the scope of the overall process. Fantastic experience: Nous avons contacté Patxi en août 2022 pour visiter un appartement dans la vieille ville de San Sebastián. Il est d’une efficacité redoutable. En 24h notre offre a été acceptée par les propriétaires et nous avons signé le contrat de compromis de vente puis payé un accompte aux vendeurs correspondant à 10% du montant total de la valeur du bien. ( mais il est possible de signer un contrat de réservation du bien avant cela, ce qui vous laisse le temps de faire votre demande de prêt) Ensuite, Patxi s’occupe de tout: - il vous conseille une banque espagnole si besoin pour ouvrir un compte bancaire et pour faire éventuellement l’emprunt -il vous met en relation avec un notaire basque espagnol -il vous traduit les contrat de compromis de vente -il vous explique comment obtenir le NIE en Espagne ( c’est possible en 1 journée au commissariat de police de Irun si vous vous présentez avec les bons documents imprimés au préalable sur leur site internet) -il vous accompagne chez le Notaire le jour de la signature bien évidemment -il s’occupe de tous les transferts de compteur d’eau, électrique, gaz, téléphone, ramassage des déchets etc…à votre nom et sur votre compte bancaire espagnol -il vous met en relation avec un architecte ou un plombier Vous pouvez lui poser 1000 questions, il a toujours les réponses. Aujourd’hui, grâce à Patxi, nous sommes les heureux propriétaires d’un bel appartement à Donostia, ville dont nous sommes éperdument amoureux. Encore mille merci Patxi!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I, from the US, give Patxi the strongest recommendation possible. He was fantastic to work with as we found and purchased our new home in Basque Country. It would be fair to say that without his assistance we probably would not have succeeded. Finding the house and agreeing on the price was the easy part. Then came the complicated steps, which Patxi managed for us completely: getting our NIE numbers, opening a local bank account, working with the notario to finalize the deal, etc. For each step he and his team prepared the paperwork and made the appointments for us and even accompanied us to the appointments. Really all we needed to do was add our signatures. Even after the deal was done he offered to hold a key to our house and go there as necessary while we go back to the US for a few months to finish up things there and prepare to move. Hire Patxi if you want the best and most friendly service and ultimate success.

Fantastic experience: We first met Patxi and Guillermo on Zoom meetings while we were still in Australia awaiting our visa. They soon found and negotiated a long-term lease on a terrific apartment in San Sebastian, no easy task since we had our cat in tow. We hardly had to lift a finger during the whole process. But much more than that, Guillermo guided us all the way through our padron and TIE appointments and was invaluable in a hundred other ways as we blindly stumbled through the migration process. These guys are terrific operators by anyone's standard.
