The villa was immaculate, everything was exactly as detailed online and the service from Richard at CVC was exceptional. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them to others. Fantastic experience: Our group of 10 stayed at one of the villas over the summer and it was absolutely amazing. Richard was extremely helping in helping us find the perfect place for our group. The particular house itself was stunning. It was stocked with everything we could need. There were only a couple of things that were disappointing about the house, which didn’t have anything to do with the company itself (waterfall feature on pool was turned off, some blinds not functioning during the stay, making the living room very hot). The house manager was also super helpful and lovely, and the concierge service - she helped us create the most amazing experience in the house that we could have asked for. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without them!

Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und mit einem traumhaften Balkon sowie Pool, beide mit fantastischem Meerblick. Besonders positiv war, dass die Anlage regelmäßig gepflegt wurde: Gärtner und Poolservice kamen vorbei, sodass alles top in Schuss war. Als zwei Liegen kaputtgingen, wurden diese sofort am nächsten Tag ersetzt – ein super Service! Auch die Betreuung war hervorragend: Auf unsere Fragen haben wir immer direkt eine schnelle und hilfreiche Antwort bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war wirklich ausgezeichnet, und wir sind sehr froh, so spontan noch eine so tolle Villa gefunden zu haben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Fantastic experience: Très belle maison avec beaucoup de charme. Bien équipée. Plusieurs coins détente à l extérieur. La piscine au top !! Une super semaine détente ! La personne qui était notre contact parle anglais , elle a répondu très rapidement à nos questions par message . Elle est très bien situé pour les plages et les commerces. Magnifique séjour détente.

Fantastic experience: Lieber Richard, liebe Sara, es ist höchste Zeit, endlich einmal einen Kommentar zu schreiben. Verzeiht uns, dass wir das nicht schon viel früher getan haben! Seit nunmehr 13 Jahren buchen wir unsere Sommerferien an der Costa Brava über Charming Villas - eine ganz besondere Agentur, geführt von einem unglaublich sympathischen und in fantastischer Weise zuverlässigen Ehepaar. Von Anfang an haben wir uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Jedes Jahr haben sie uns ein neues, wunderschönes Feriendomizil vermittelt. Früher im malerischen Landesinneren, zuletzt auch mal direkt an der Küste. Egal wo: Die Häuser (Villas, Fincas, Landhäuser) waren immer top, die Lage traumhaft und der Service einfach perfekt! Besonders beeindruckt sind wir immer wieder darüber, wie herzlich und engagiert sie sich um ihre Gäste kümmern. (Richard, deine permanente Erreichbarkeit und deine brutalen Reaktionszeiten sind auf Dauer nicht gesund!! ;-)) Ein unvergessliches Beispiel war unsere Silberhochzeit 2021. Im Vorfeld unserer Anreise fragte Richard (wie immer), ob er noch etwas für uns tun könnte oder wir irgendwelche Wünsche hätten. Ja, hatte ich diesmal ausnahmsweise. Und Richard machte das scheinbar Unmögliche möglich. Er organisierte uns einen Tisch im berühmten Restaurant Can Roca, inklusive Taxi-Transfer. Ein ganz besonderer, unvergesslicher Abend. Wir sind so dankbar für all die großartigen Urlaube, die wir dank dieser Agentur erleben durften, und freuen uns schon jetzt auf viele weitere Sommerurlaube in diesen fantastischen Unterkünften an der wunderschönen Costa Brava, die Charming Villas im Portfolio hat – in dem sicheren Wissen, dass wir immer bestens beraten und betreut werden! Fantastic experience: We rented Villa Aiguablava in May of this year. Working with Sara and Richard was easy and they were both very responsive. The Villa was fantastic, even better in person then in the photos. The concierge service provided (Samantha) was also excellent and made our first visit to the region super easy and enjoyable. We plan to return.

Fantastic experience: This is a really lovely villa ideally placed on the water front with great views of the sea and coastline. We were a party of 16 consisting of 2 grandparents, 3 adult children and their spouses and 8 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 15. The accommodation worked extremely well and the facilities in the villa were excellent. There were beaches within walking distance, and indeed within swimming distance for the younger members of our party. One minor niggle was that although there was parking in the garage the narrowness of the access road meant that it was impossible to get into for all but the smallest car. We didn't find this a major inconvenience as there was a parking space provided in the marina opposite.

Fantastic experience: We recently stayed 3 weeks in a beautiful house in a medieval village, all arranged by the team at Charming Villas Catalonia. We researched who to rent from, and our decision to work with Charming Villas was confirmed by the property manager, who praised our decision and told us that they are the most professional of all the organizations she works with. They are responsive and treat clients with a service-oriented approach that is welcome in this laid-back corner of southern Europe. We'd never been to Catalonia and we had a LOT of criteria we were looking for in a place to stay. Richard was extremely patient and helpful -- not just in choosing a village and a house to rent, but in planning many other aspects of the visit. Tell him what you're looking for and he'll point you to the right village and the right property to meet your needs. Was everything perfect? No. The house was beautiful, but I've rented a lot of homes and airbnbs, and this one was stocked with the fewest supplies I've ever encountered. We had to run out to buy soap, shampoo, tissues, paper towels, napkins, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap... not a huge deal but surprising. And the property manager who met us (not a Charming Villas employee) did a poor job of explaining and pointing out all of the home's features (turns out some of it was written down but we didn't find that for a week). Still, these were small things. Sara and Richard run a professional operation with great properties and we are glad we found them. Our stay in Catalonia was terrific and if you are considering a trip to this region you should not hesitate to contact Charming Villas.

Fantastic experience: We recently spent two weeks at a house in Roses, Spain that we had rented through Charming Villas. Richard and Sara were incredibly helpful in choosing the villa, helping with activities nearby and giving very helpful tips and support to make our vacation awesome.

The pictures and description were already very promising but both the house and the location/area exceeded them by far! Fantastic experience: Richard is a superstar! We had the pleasure to witness first hand his professionalism, incredible knowledge of the Begur region and of the villas he represents. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to find a villa for our large group of 3 families and our particular needs for our daughter who's in a wheelchair. This service and attention to detail isn't common and Richard is truly a gem. Charming Villas has an abundance of awesome vacation homes and with Richard's help he narrowed it down to our needs and provided detailed videos and information to make our choices a breeze. Fantastic experience: We made a relativley last minute decision to plan a full family trip to Spain and I felt entirely unsure about how to find an appropriate house. I am so grateful we found Charming Villas. Fantastic experience: We have been using Charming Villas for years and have never been disappointed. We rented Villa Cristina for the week leading up to my son's wedding. It was wonderful. Big rooms, very comfortable, fantastic garden where we hosted a family dinner for 60 people and a brilliant resident caretaker. It comes with housekeeping which is an added bonus. The pool is big and the villa is located in a perfect place to explore the area. The beach is a ten minute drive away as are many great restaurants. Richard and Sara are always on hand to help and whatever villa you rent from them you can be sure is of the highest quality. We look forward to our next visit.

So, I used them as well for a different villa but in the same area as my friend, and the team at Charming Villas Catalonia were very professional, responsive and provided all the necessary information required to rent the villa and ensure a wonderful stay. The villa we rented was true to its description on the website.

Fantastic experience: And amazing Villa and fantastic hosts and close to everything that you could possibly need beach restaurants supermarket. You need a car because if you have small children whilst it’s a short walk to the beach to walk back from the beach is up a very steep hill.

Fantastic experience: We had the best vacation facilitated by charming villas. Richard and Sara were helpful start to finish. Prior to booking we had questions about the house and property which they answered promptly. And when we had arrival day travel issues, we were able to arrive one day early, due to prompt and efficient communication between Charming Villas and the property owner. And a highlight certainly was a glass of chilled Cava on arrival. The house, grounds, and pool were impeccable. During our stay, Richard and Sara provided recommendations regarding bike rentals, activities, secret beaches, etc. I give my highest level of recommendation, and we hope to book again next summer

Fantastic experience: Our group of 16 friends just stayed at Sa Vista in Port Lligat just outside Cadaques and could not have found a more idyllic place to spend our week together. The villa is beautiful and well appointed, with 8 bedrooms, a large, modern, fully -equipped kitchen, and common areas large enough to comfortably accommodate our group both inside and outside the house. The villa has a very large infinity pool with gorgeous views of the Cadaques harbor that was the perfect place to spend lazy afternoons. The house is also a 5-minute walk from the beach so we were able go back and forth between the beach and the pool. Cadaques, a picturesque, seaside town that is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute drive from the house, is filled with fun restaurants, bakeries and shops that are definitely worth a visit. Richard Calvin got us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant in Cadeques called Compartir that was a particular highlight of our week. There are also a few casual restaurants a short walk from the house by the beach that we really enjoyed. The villa comes with daily housekeeping which was a great amenity to have. Although we spent most of our time in the area close to the villa, we also took some day trips to Girona and Figueres. Richard connected us with a terrific tour guide for our day in Girona. The Charming Villas website has numerous articles filled with information about the Costa Brava and the different activities available there. And Richard and his team could not have been more helpful in making recommendations and arrangements for us. Given the size of our group, we needed to reserve activities and restaurants well in advance, especially since we were visiting the Costa Brava during prime vacation time. Charming Villas advised us on what we needed to do when and were able to make reservations for us that we probably could not have obtained on our own. Charming Villas did everything from helping us select the best house for our needs to making suggestions and reservations for activities (a chartered boat trip on the Sant Isidre was one of our favorite activities of our trip), helping us find a chef to prepare our meals, connecting us with tour guides, reserving golf tee times at nearby courses, and arranging for transportation as needed for our group. Their knowledge of the Costa Brava (they live locally) and connections there ensured that we had an absolutely amazing trip, which concluded on our final full day with lunch at El Cellar de Can Roca, the world-renown three-star Michelin restaurant in Girona. Richard not only obtained a reservation for us, he arranged for the restaurant to give us a tour of the kitchen and the wine cellar. The meal was an experience of a lifetime that we will never forget. We couldn't recommend Charming Villas more highly and we recommend their services to anyone looking to vacation on the Costa Brava or in Barcelona. Thank you to Richard, Sara and Marc for helping to design and facilitate a truly perfect, memorable vacation.

Assistance in choosing a villa was second to none, their knowledge of the villas and location was superb and their advise was open and honest. Fantastic experience: Villa Amura was the perfect vacation. You will NOT be disappointed. The house was incredibly comfortable and truly stunning with wonderful views and everything we needed. One we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed, helped arrange dinners and outings and made sure our vacation was exactly what we wanted. Fantastic experience: The villas was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. View was amazing. We had a great time. The walk to Cadaques is a difficult one for anyone who may be a bit older or not used to walking. The hills are steep. Good shoes required. The town is one one side of the "mountain hill" and the villa is on the other. The management was very helpful and available for any questions. I had boxes shipped from Amazon to the villa ahead of our stay and they were all waiting for me there when I arrived ...as were the grocheries I ordered in advance. We stayed at Sa Vista.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at villa Aiguablava in October and we were very happy with the service we received. The villa was equipped with everything we needed and we booked yoga classes with Bee that really added to our stay. We recommend to confirm regarding pool heating when relevant. The staff of charming villas were very available to assist us in any question we had and responded swiftly.

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to find Charming Villas Catalonia for a late Sept ‘22 trip. It was a delight to work with Richard and Sara. Not only did we find a wonderful villa, but they helped with car transfers from the train station to the villa and also arranged our rental car. Fantastic experience: CVC are an excellent company who arrange lettings of beautiful villas. They are very professional and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic experience: Although this review is long overdue, a few words to describe the fantastic holiday we’ve had through Charming. We had been in the region for a number of times and usually stayed in hotels, however with an addition to out family we decided to book a villa. What a great experience! Richard and his team were very helpful in providing all the info we asked before our arrival, check-in went seamless and the villa was clean and exactly as pictured on the website, equipped with all the amenities we could wish for. We had a great week enjoying all the little beaches and restaurants in the region. We’ll certainly book again!

Fantastic experience: We rent a large house through Charming Villas and we are very happy with the service and how Charming Villas has helped us before, during and after the stay in the house we rented. This was not our first stay at Costa Brava, but we have at our earlier ten stays not received this high level of service. No doubt that we will ask CV for advice next time we return to Catalonia.

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous two week stay at Villa Port des Pi. Sa Riera is a perfect spot - lovely quiet beach, even in high season, with two fabulous restaurants and the villa is superb. There is also a small supermarket a short walk away which is handy when you're self catering. Everything was new and top quality. The views are amazing and the fit out of the villa is exceptional. Richard and the team at Charming Villas were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our holiday was perfect.

Fantastic experience: We visited Villa Aiguablava in Begur along Costa Brava in late April. It was an amazing house with the most incredible views. Situated with a short walk down the hill to the beach and close proximity to the town of Begur, the villa offered plenty for us to do. The house was well-stocked for lunches or dinners in and even a pizza oven! The kids (and adults) enjoyed the sauna and pool. Everything felt very luxurious. We are already planning a return trip.

Fantastic experience: Richard and Sara were simply terrific from start to finish. They patiently helped me find the right home for my family and four others. Whether we had questions about vaccination protocols (we were coming from New York) or local sites and/or help (e.g., finding a reasonably priced local chef, boat tours), they did not hesitate to make the proper introductions. Fantastic experience: We recently booked Torre Bella via Charming Villa Catalonia. The experience was perfect from start to finish. Richard offered very good and very valuable advice when we were trying to decide on the right Villa for our 2 families, we were delighted with our choice. The host/Villa owner Javier was exceptionally welcoming which is always so appreciated and look after our every request throughout our stay, even brining us a blender within hours of our arrival. He is attentive, caring and has a wonderful home that he is proud to share. The Villa is stunning, the views are spectacular and the layout both inside and out are fantastic. It is spacious, very comfortable and the pictures do not it justice! The outside sitting areas and pool house are exactly what you want a holiday Villa, perfect for lounging, snoozing, playing games and outdoor dining. The Pelota' court was a real highlight as well. We were so happy to have found "Charming Villas Catalonia" and can't wait to go back to Torre Bella. Thank you to Richard and Javier.

Fantastic experience: We were originally scheduled to visit the Costa Brava region in June 2020 but with the pandemic that of course did not happen. From the time we booked until we actually were able to travel from the USA to Spain, the team at Charming Villas was truly outstanding. When we first booked we had questions about the villa and Sara (who served as our main contact) always responded in a timely and truly helpful manner. Early on in the pandemic she updated us periodically about what was happening on the ground in Spain and once it appeared that we would be able to travel in 2021, she made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do. Our stay at Can Talalla was wonderful. The villa fit our needs perfectly. Everyone was pleased with their rooms and we all slept extremely well. Having an American sized dryer made us all happy :) We all love to cook so were pleased with the large kitchen and outdoor stone grill. Everything we might have needed was available to us. We enjoyed the pool, playing badminton, and ending the days with gorgeous sunsets. The location was fantastic for what we wanted to do and for starting a vacation in Barcelona. Everything we wanted to do (beaches, Girona, Salvador Dali Museum, Lake of Banyoles, markets) was within a 30-minute drive. Even in pre-pandemic times the level of communication and responsiveness from Charming Villas would have earned high praise, but considering all of what has happened in the past 18 months, the outstanding customer service from Charming Villas was truly appreciated. We look forward to booking another vacation home with them in the future.

Fantastic experience: We first contacted Charming Villas about a villa on the seafront at Llafranc which we had seen on a lot of other websites and we wanted to compare prices. The prices quoted were similar to other companies but what impressed us was that Richard gave us his honest opinion about the villa and its weak points instead of just the positive aspects that other companies seemed to do. In the end we booked a different villa with CV in Tamariu and the whole family had a wonderful experience. We have no hesitation recommending CV and we will be booking with them again for sure.

Fantastic experience: This is a charming, very family friendly villa has absolutely everything anyone could need for a relaxing holiday. The villa itself was well stocked with plenty of crockery/kitchenware and we had lots of choice of eating/sitting areas. The pool, tennis court, garden and outdoors games meant our grandchildren never wanted to do anything else but play at Mas Muneer! Richard was very helpful with all sorts of help and advice and our stay was everything we could wish for. Great holiday there. Would love to do again.

Fantastic experience: First class company for your Northern Spain rental needs. Richard and Sara are responsive, professional, thoughtful, and just plain kind. They handle any little problem with ease and a smile, and make sure that there are not many, if any, to begin with. They go the extra mile with very personal service. Fantastic experience: Estada de 3 setmanes d’agost on vam poder anar a la platja caminant per la seva proximitat així com fer excursions pels voltants i camí de ronda. Una villa amb molta privacitat, els veïns no et veuen ni et senten estiguis on estiguis de la casa. Zona de bbq, pimpom, piscina, chillout i taula exterior gran per acollir un grup gran de persones. Zona interior de disseny minimalista molt espaiós també. 5 habitacions dobles amb totes les comoditats. Ascensor necessari per baixar la compra pesada des del 2n pis fins la cuina!! Aparcament al carrer davant la casa genial, tranquil, no transitat. Ens vam sentir com a casa.

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of working with Charming Villas to find a Spanish rental property for Summer of 2020. They have an amazing inventory of properties and are experts within this region. Not only were they extremely helpful, they were also responsive and professional. Sadly due to COVID-19 we had to cancel our trip. Their handling of the cancellation was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to book with them again. I cannot recommend them more highly!

Positive experience: Wij hebben het zeer prettig ervaren om hier samen met 2 gezinnen te verblijven. Een geweldige huis op een mooie locatie. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Nadeel was dat er veel steekvliegen waren waardoor het buiten eten niet fijn was. En als tip willen wij meegeven de woning te voorzien van een airco.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at La Roca Timariu. The villa was spectacular with the most breathtaking views. We had a wonderful stay and Sara and Richard made sure all of our needs were taken care of. They were very helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations and reservations, grocery delivery to the villa, transportation and car rental (which was delivered to our villa!). Fantastic experience: We stayed with our family 1 week in July 2019 in the villa Can Rinel in Aiguablava. Our expectations were high, but upon arrival it turned out to be even more beautiful than we had hoped for. We found the service of Charming Villas (Richard) outstanding. The villa living space was beautiful, and especially the spacious kitchen has given us much pleasure. The surroundings were beautiful green, had beautiful sea views and it was also very quiet. Fantastic experience: This is my favorite part of the world and the best kept secret. We have been coming back for years and always finding both peace and also unexplored areas of wonder. This time we rented with Charming Villas and had an amazing worry-free experience. Our villa was absolutely perfect! So much so that I was inspired to take images of the architectural details and use them back home. The villa was new, clean (and kept clean with great staff through out our stay), with all the modern working amennitites and a great number of thoughtful functional details that continued to delight us. Everything was well-thought out for our comfort and worry-free stay. Working with Richard and his team was very easy and pleasant. Fantastic experience: Our extended family of 17 rented 2 villas in the hills just above lovely Cadaques in June. The homes were exquisitely decorated and immaculately clean. Our family enjoyed the fact that the 7 kids had their own house (with pool) and could wander freely back and forth. We enjoyed the fact that any little problem was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Someone was on the property everyday to make sure things were in order and everything was running smoothly. Richard was very helpful prior to our trip to help set up a chef on two evenings. He was also very helpful in recommending Compartir, a fine dining restaurant, and arranging seating and reservations for us. Fantastic experience: Our extended family of 15 stayed at Villa Santa Cristina for the week of 22nd July 2017. The booking process with Charming Villas had been excellent and communication from them leading up to our visit was perfect. The position of the villa on a hillside above the village is wonderful and was a pleasant surprise - the pictures on the website do not do justice to the great position and excellent garden. The pool is excellent and was well used by all of us. In summary, this is one of the best villas we have been to for a family holiday and we have no hesitation in recommending Charming Villas as a booking agent. Thank you to them.
