Negative experience: My partner and I went to visit a property just before Christmas. After the visit, we contacted Javier by phone to tell him that we were interested in the property and if there was any problem with having a pet. After several attempts to call from my partner, Javier stopped answering the phone (he justified this by saying he was on other calls, etc., even though he didn’t even attempt to return the call later). Due to the lack of response, we decided to write via WhatsApp to discuss the matter, and he replied saying that the property did not allow pets. After Christmas, at the end of January, we noticed that the property was not only still available but that the price had also dropped, so I decided to call him from my phone since it was my partner who contacted him, to show my interest in the property and to ask if there would be any problem with having a German Shepherd. To our surprise, there was no problem regarding this, just that the owner does not allow puppies, but a ten-year-old German Shepherd is fine. Later, I called again to inform him that we were not interested (we actually have a husky). This call happened on a Friday, and on Monday morning, my partner called Javier directly again to remind him that we remained interested in the property and whether they had changed their mind about pets. My partner called Javier throughout the day without getting a response or a return call. After numerous attempts, they started insisting, even hanging up on the first ring. They insisted until he finally picked up the phone and mentioned that we were still interested in the property and whether they were still not accepting animals. To our surprise (again), he told us that they do not accept any type of pets. He mentioned that it is even specified in the ad (which is untrue). Less than 24 working hours earlier, he told me over the phone that there would be no problem renting the house and living with a dog. Shortly after, my partner received a call from Sonia, whom she had never spoken to, and who returned the call after seeing it was missed from the office. She discussed what was happening with Javier and basically said that we had put him to the test and that she would find out what was going on. After this, my partner called Javier again, who again did not pick up the phone (note, nobody was on the line as it always rang) and after a while, he called us back interpreting that he had a missed call from this number. My partner explained what was happening, and he denied everything. Suddenly, he told us that the owner initially did not mind (we went to see it on December 20) but later preferred that it not be puppies and then definitely no animals in case it scratched the parquet. All of this is supposed to have happened between Friday and Monday afternoon. On Friday, he not only answered my call on the first ring and told me that there was no problem with having a German Shepherd, but on Monday, my partner barely got him to pick up the phone to tell her that it is even specified in the ad (attached a screenshot to verify that this is not true). What are the real reasons why this gentleman has given us these thousand twists? We don’t know. The only thing we know and have been able to verify is that they have lied to us. This is the only truth in the story. I would even dare to think that my partner's identity may have been a reason to exclude us from renting the property, as she was the one he didn’t answer the phone to right after the visit, and even sometime after. To Javier: if you want to respond telling us that we are slandering and then threaten to report us like you have done with other clients in previous reviews, go ahead. She will take care of responding to you again through another review. Regards.
