Expérience fantastique: We rented Villa Aiguablava in May of this year. Working with Sara and Richard was easy and they were both very responsive. The Villa was fantastic, even better in person then in the photos. The concierge service provided (Samantha) was also excellent and made our first visit to the region super easy and enjoyable. We plan to return.

Expérience fantastique: This is a really lovely villa ideally placed on the water front with great views of the sea and coastline. We were a party of 16 consisting of 2 grandparents, 3 adult children and their spouses and 8 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 15. The accommodation worked extremely well and the facilities in the villa were excellent. There were beaches within walking distance, and indeed within swimming distance for the younger members of our party. One minor niggle was that although there was parking in the garage the narrowness of the access road meant that it was impossible to get into for all but the smallest car. We didn't find this a major inconvenience as there was a parking space provided in the marina opposite.

Expérience fantastique: We recently stayed 3 weeks in a beautiful house in a medieval village, all arranged by the team at Charming Villas Catalonia. We researched who to rent from, and our decision to work with Charming Villas was confirmed by the property manager, who praised our decision and told us that they are the most professional of all the organizations she works with. They are responsive and treat clients with a service-oriented approach that is welcome in this laid-back corner of southern Europe. We'd never been to Catalonia and we had a LOT of criteria we were looking for in a place to stay. Richard was extremely patient and helpful -- not just in choosing a village and a house to rent, but in planning many other aspects of the visit. Tell him what you're looking for and he'll point you to the right village and the right property to meet your needs. Was everything perfect? No. The house was beautiful, but I've rented a lot of homes and airbnbs, and this one was stocked with the fewest supplies I've ever encountered. We had to run out to buy soap, shampoo, tissues, paper towels, napkins, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap... not a huge deal but surprising. And the property manager who met us (not a Charming Villas employee) did a poor job of explaining and pointing out all of the home's features (turns out some of it was written down but we didn't find that for a week). Still, these were small things. Sara and Richard run a professional operation with great properties and we are glad we found them. Our stay in Catalonia was terrific and if you are considering a trip to this region you should not hesitate to contact Charming Villas.

Expérience fantastique: Nous utilisons Charming Villas depuis des années et nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Nous avons loué la Villa Cristina pour la semaine précédant le mariage de mon fils. C'était merveilleux. Grandes chambres, très confortables, un jardin fantastique où nous avons organisé un dîner de famille pour 60 personnes et un brillant gardien résident. Il y a un service de ménage en supplément. La piscine est grande et la villa est située à un endroit parfait pour explorer la région. La plage est à dix minutes en voiture, tout comme de nombreux excellents restaurants. Richard et Sara sont toujours là pour aider et quelle que soit la villa que vous louez auprès d'eux, vous pouvez être sûr qu'elle est de la plus haute qualité. Nous attendons avec impatience notre prochaine visite.

Expérience fantastique: Une villa incroyable et des hôtes fantastiques, proche de tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin : plage, restaurants, supermarché. Vous avez besoin d'une voiture car, si vous avez de jeunes enfants, bien que ce soit une courte marche jusqu'à la plage, le retour de la plage se fait par une colline très escarpée.

Expérience fantastique: Nous avons eu les meilleures vacances facilitées par Charming Villas. Richard et Sara ont été d'une grande aide du début à la fin. Avant de réserver, nous avions des questions sur la maison et la propriété auxquelles ils ont répondu rapidement. Et quand nous avons eu des problèmes de voyage le jour de notre arrivée, nous avons pu arriver un jour plus tôt grâce à la communication rapide et efficace entre Charming Villas et le propriétaire de la propriété. Et un point fort était certainement un verre de Cava frais à l'arrivée. La maison, les terrains et la piscine étaient impeccables. Pendant notre séjour, Richard et Sara ont fourni des recommandations sur les locations de vélos, les activités, les plages secrètes, etc. Je donne ma plus haute recommandation et nous espérons réserver à nouveau l'été prochain.

Expérience fantastique: Notre groupe de 16 amis vient de séjourner à Sa Vista à Port Lligat, juste à l'extérieur de Cadaqués, et nous n'aurions pas pu trouver un endroit plus idyllique pour passer notre semaine ensemble. La villa est magnifique et bien équipée, avec 8 chambres, une grande cuisine moderne entièrement équipée et des espaces communs assez grands pour accueillir confortablement notre groupe à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la maison. La villa dispose d'une très grande piscine à débordement avec une vue imprenable sur le port de Cadaqués, qui était l'endroit parfait pour passer des après-midis paresseux. La maison est également à 5 minutes à pied de la plage, donc nous avons pu faire des allers-retours entre la plage et la piscine. Cadaqués, un pittoresque village balnéaire situé à 20 minutes à pied ou à 10 minutes en voiture de la maison, regorge de restaurants amusants, de boulangeries et de magasins qui valent vraiment le détour. Richard Calvin nous a obtenu une réservation dans un merveilleux restaurant à Cadaqués appelé Compartir, qui a été un point fort particulier de notre semaine. Il y a aussi quelques restaurants décontractés à quelques pas de la maison près de la plage que nous avons vraiment appréciés. La villa comprend un service de nettoyage quotidien, ce qui était un grand avantage. Bien que nous ayons passé la plupart de notre temps dans les environs de la villa, nous avons également fait des excursions d'une journée à Gérone et à Figueres. Richard nous a mis en contact avec un excellent guide touristique pour notre journée à Gérone. Le site web de Charming Villas regorge d'articles remplis d'informations sur la Costa Brava et les différentes activités disponibles là-bas. Et Richard et son équipe n'auraient pas pu être plus utiles en nous faisant des recommandations et des arrangements. Étant donné la taille de notre groupe, nous devions réserver des activités et des restaurants longtemps à l'avance, surtout puisque nous visitions la Costa Brava pendant la période de vacances de pointe. Charming Villas nous a conseillé sur ce que nous devions faire et quand, et a pu faire des réservations pour nous que nous n'aurions probablement pas pu obtenir par nos propres moyens. Charming Villas a tout fait, de nous aider à choisir la meilleure maison pour nos besoins à faire des suggestions et des réservations pour des activités (une excursion en bateau affrété sur le Sant Isidre a été l'une de nos activités préférées de notre voyage), à nous aider à trouver un chef pour préparer nos repas, à nous connecter avec des guides touristiques, à réserver des heures de tee de golf sur des parcours à proximité, et à organiser le transport si nécessaire pour notre groupe. Leur connaissance de la Costa Brava (ils y vivent localement) et leurs connections ont assuré que nous ayons un voyage absolument incroyable, qui s'est terminé le dernier jour complet par un déjeuner au Cellar de Can Roca, le célèbre restaurant trois étoiles Michelin à Gérone. Richard non seulement a obtenu une réservation pour nous, mais il a également organisé que le restaurant nous fasse visiter la cuisine et la cave à vin. Le repas a été une expérience inoubliable que nous n'oublierons jamais. Nous ne pourrions pas recommander Charming Villas plus hautement et nous recommandons leurs services à quiconque cherchant à passer des vacances sur la Costa Brava ou à Barcelone. The walk to Cadaques is a difficult one for anyone who may be a bit older or not used to walking. The hills are steep. Good shoes required. The town is one one side of the "mountain hill" and the villa is on the other. The management was very helpful and available for any questions. I had boxes shipped from Amazon to the villa ahead of our stay and they were all waiting for me there when I arrived ...as were the grocheries I ordered in advance. We stayed at Sa Vista.

The villa was equipped with everything we needed and we booked yoga classes with Bee that really added to our stay. We recommend to confirm regarding pool heating when relevant. The staff of charming villas were very available to assist us in any question we had and responded swiftly.

Not only did we find a wonderful villa, but they helped with car transfers from the train station to the villa and also arranged our rental car. We had been in the region for a number of times and usually stayed in hotels, however with an addition to out family we decided to book a villa. What a great experience! Richard and his team were very helpful in providing all the info we asked before our arrival, check-in went seamless and the villa was clean and exactly as pictured on the website, equipped with all the amenities we could wish for. Sa Riera is a perfect spot - lovely quiet beach, even in high season, with two fabulous restaurants and the villa is superb. There is also a small supermarket a short walk away which is handy when you're self catering. Everything was new and top quality. The views are amazing and the fit out of the villa is exceptional. Richard and the team at Charming Villas were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our holiday was perfect.

Expérience fantastique: We visited Villa Aiguablava in Begur along Costa Brava in late April. It was an amazing house with the most incredible views. Situated with a short walk down the hill to the beach and close proximity to the town of Begur, the villa offered plenty for us to do. The house was well-stocked for lunches or dinners in and even a pizza oven! The kids (and adults) enjoyed the sauna and pool. Everything felt very luxurious. We are already planning a return trip.

Richard offered very good and very valuable advice when we were trying to decide on the right Villa for our 2 families, we were delighted with our choice. The host/Villa owner Javier was exceptionally welcoming which is always so appreciated and look after our every request throughout our stay, even brining us a blender within hours of our arrival. He is attentive, caring and has a wonderful home that he is proud to share. The Villa is stunning, the views are spectacular and the layout both inside and out are fantastic. It is spacious, very comfortable and the pictures do not it justice! The outside sitting areas and pool house are exactly what you want a holiday Villa, perfect for lounging, snoozing, playing games and outdoor dining. The Pelota' court was a real highlight as well. We were so happy to have found "Charming Villas Catalonia" and can't wait to go back to Torre Bella. Thank you to Richard and Javier.

Expérience fantastique: We were originally scheduled to visit the Costa Brava region in June 2020 but with the pandemic that of course did not happen. From the time we booked until we actually were able to travel from the USA to Spain, the team at Charming Villas was truly outstanding. When we first booked we had questions about the villa and Sara (who served as our main contact) always responded in a timely and truly helpful manner. Early on in the pandemic she updated us periodically about what was happening on the ground in Spain and once it appeared that we would be able to travel in 2021, she made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do. Our stay at Can Talalla was wonderful. The villa fit our needs perfectly. Everyone was pleased with their rooms and we all slept extremely well. Having an American sized dryer made us all happy :) We all love to cook so were pleased with the large kitchen and outdoor stone grill. Everything we might have needed was available to us. We enjoyed the pool, playing badminton, and ending the days with gorgeous sunsets. The location was fantastic for what we wanted to do and for starting a vacation in Barcelona. Everything we wanted to do (beaches, Girona, Salvador Dali Museum, Lake of Banyoles, markets) was within a 30-minute drive. Even in pre-pandemic times the level of communication and responsiveness from Charming Villas would have earned high praise, but considering all of what has happened in the past 18 months, the outstanding customer service from Charming Villas was truly appreciated. We look forward to booking another vacation home with them in the future.

Expérience fantastique: We first contacted Charming Villas about a villa on the seafront at Llafranc which we had seen on a lot of other websites and we wanted to compare prices. The prices quoted were similar to other companies but what impressed us was that Richard gave us his honest opinion about the villa and its weak points instead of just the positive aspects that other companies seemed to do. In the end we booked a different villa with CV in Tamariu and the whole family had a wonderful experience. We have no hesitation recommending CV and we will be booking with them again for sure.

Expérience fantastique: This is a charming, very family friendly villa has absolutely everything anyone could need for a relaxing holiday. The villa itself was well stocked with plenty of crockery/kitchenware and we had lots of choice of eating/sitting areas. The pool, tennis court, garden and outdoors games meant our grandchildren never wanted to do anything else but play at Mas Muneer! Richard was very helpful with all sorts of help and advice and our stay was everything we could wish for. Great holiday there. Would love to do again.

Una villa amb molta privacitat, els veïns no et veuen ni et senten estiguis on estiguis de la casa. Zona de bbq, pimpom, piscina, chillout i taula exterior gran per acollir un grup gran de persones. Zona interior de disseny minimalista molt espaiós també. 5 habitacions dobles amb totes les comoditats. Ascensor necessari per baixar la compra pesada des del 2n pis fins la cuina!! Aparcament al carrer davant la casa genial, tranquil, no transitat. Ens vam sentir com a casa.

They have an amazing inventory of properties and are experts within this region. Not only were they extremely helpful, they were also responsive and professional. We had a wonderful stay and Sara and Richard made sure all of our needs were taken care of. They were very helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations and reservations, grocery delivery to the villa, transportation and car rental (which was delivered to our villa!). Our family enjoyed the fact that the 7 kids had their own house (with pool) and could wander freely back and forth. We enjoyed the fact that any little problem was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Someone was on the property everyday to make sure things were in order and everything was running smoothly. Richard was very helpful prior to our trip to help set up a chef on two evenings. He was also very helpful in recommending Compartir, a fine dining restaurant, and arranging seating and reservations for us. Expérience fantastique: Our extended family of 15 stayed at Villa Santa Cristina for the week of 22nd July 2017. The booking process with Charming Villas had been excellent and communication from them leading up to our visit was perfect. The position of the villa on a hillside above the village is wonderful and was a pleasant surprise - the pictures on the website do not do justice to the great position and excellent garden. The pool is excellent and was well used by all of us. In summary, this is one of the best villas we have been to for a family holiday and we have no hesitation in recommending Charming Villas as a booking agent. Thank you to them.
