Apartamento alquiler en ciutat vella

Expérience fantastique: Great location in the historical part of Valencia, very neat and well equipped apartment; Apartment situated on walking distance of all sights in the old town and also next to the Turia park.

Expérience positive: In August we booked apartment Na Jordana by SingularStays (nice looking, simple apartment in modern bulding). Before our arrival the company suddenly changed our appartment to Na Jordana III. When I was asking "why", company answered "a pipe broke last night and there is no water now in the apartment". Something can happen (I don´t deny it), but nobody informed me about situation, nobody asked if we want to stay in different apartment etc. I asked for discount and they lowered the price by 50 Euros (at my request). Location is good because proximity to the old centre (you´re practically in it), although it is not the cleanest and most beautiful neighborhood. Also metro station Túria isn´t so far. Apartment itself wasn´t what I expected from photos. There was really bad smell during our 6 days stay - don´t know its origin, probably waste pipes (we are clearly not the only one complaining about the problem). Also apartment wasn´t cleaned up properly. Some dust on the ground, cabinets (the worst situation was in bedroom between the wall and wardrobe), the toilet wasn´t perfectly clean also etc. Rest of bathroom was accepting, it´s quite spacious, lots of towels, but company could improve some things there. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances (fridge, oven, microwave...) was very good and clean and probably it was the best space in the apartment. Unfortunately we couldn´t find any paper towels or cloth wipes and there wasn´t enough detergent and also toilet paper in bathroom (we must bought also soap). Living room wasn´t something special (sofa is pretty worn), washing machine in a secret room didn´t work (unfortunately), but bed in the bedroom was quite comfortable, although a little narrow. But we couldn´t sleep without problems, because almost every weekday morning (at 8:00 PM) the workers and their machines across the street (just few meters from our building) were making noise. Sometimes really big noise. And because apartment has simple windows... imagine the situation. Some strange noise was also from above (attic apartment). Don´t know if it´s normal to run around and move furniture every night at 2:00 AM or 4:00 AM... it was really strange (but I understand that´s not primary the company problem). Communication with girl from SingularStays was ok, also we could leave appartment two hours after normal check-out. I'm not the type that complains about everything (that´s not my style), unfortunately not everything was ok in the apartment and that's why I wouldn't book the same apartment again.
