Negative experience: NO upgrades! outdated appliances! cabinets etc but will raise the rent!!!!!! They do have lavish units check out the website Horrible tenants!!!very loud music kids running all during the early morning & nightdo your research before moving invery inconsiderate people!!!! I wonder does Martin check for reference or background checksI am moving ASAP @ this point I’d stay @ the motel. Also, deny you quickly for better places but their win application fee kept just to tell you denied

Negative experience: I am here for LPG Management, since Martin is their broker. LPG management is incredibly unprofessional. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Rented for 2 years. Felt that the unit was overpriced for the experience. Maintenance responsiveness was slow - office did not answer the phone after noon. Finish quality of the unit was low - never felt clean even after cleaning.

Negative experience: Moved to Ohio recently because of a job transfer and Martin Signature was the first place I rented from. My first two months I went without hot water, I went with no central air for all of June and July last year and then when I moved out the charged me for things I put on my checklist when I moved in. Ex:( dry erase board on back of a bedroom door) I thought it was fine and they charged me 100 from my security deposit for something I never used nor did I put up. Christina is really rude. She hung up on me several times and ignored my text and calls when I was fed up about not having central air because i told her i was putting my rent into an ergo account and had a lawyer. Air was fixed 2 days later after i had already went all summer without it. I should have read the review first because it’s true they don’t fix anything and that they find anything to keep your deposit. They give you 25 dollars off when moving in if you place a good review on google. I wonder why??? Lol

Negative experience: This investment group bought the house i was renting & living in for 3 years in October of 2022. In the short 3 months i rented from them I had an awful experience. Their property manager, Christina, is extremely rude and will argue with you even when she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I had surgery & was asked for an appraiser to enter my home the day after i had surgery & i kindly asked for them to come another day since i would be recovering, i basically was told i had no choice & they wouldn’t bother me. I had a maintenance order for my 3 year old daughters window to be fixed go for 10 days before i called & hounded someone about it. I ended up cancelling it because at that point i didn’t want them in my home. Because they never answer their phones, & i had been kindly asking Christina to send me a copy of my lease, & after the fifth time, i finally just went to the office & asked for it. Upon doing that, I expressed to the two gentlemen there how them raising rent $400 in such a short amount of time is a lot for a single mom & i asked if we could work something out. They said they’d talk to the owners. A couple weeks later, i was looking for another number to call on their website because they weren’t answering their phones & the two gentlemen i had cried to were the owners, Nick Martin & DJ Martin.. They didn’t even have the decency to introduce themselves as my new landlords. They also tried charging me $500 for my water bill when i had already paid it through the city i lived in and i once again had to call for 5 days straight to get it taken off my account. This is just a couple of the things that stand out to me. The 3 months i rented from these people were terrible. Disappointed is honestly an understatement.

Fantastic experience: Working with Christina was an awesome experience. I had been looking for something that was close to work and luckily found it. she was very helpful and courteous. Everything was completed efficiently and professionally by her. I highly recommend working with them.

Fantastic experience: I’m thankful for Christina and nick …nick really stuck his neck out to help me find a home closer to my mom and although I did not want to complain I was unhappy about some of the things in the place that were not updated and the property manager Christina really looked out for me to make sure me and my children were comfortable before moving in and fixing some of the issues I brought to her thank you two so much I recommend this company to rent from they truly care!!

Fantastic experience: We loved the townhouse as soon as we went to see it! Christina was a huge help with the application process and answering any questions we had. Also she was able to guide us through the process online. It an easy going application process and she was extremely helpful getting us all set up.

Positive experience: I had been looking at properties for several weeks before moving to Ohio and after getting a job offer, I then focused on areas close to work. Found a rental through Martin Properties and set up a tour of the apartment. I was looking for a ground level unit and luckily this complex did not have their ground level apartments sunken into the ground like most other apartment complexes in the area. The unit had lots of windows so it doesn't feel so dark which will help when we set the clocks back. I did notice a few issues with the unit after viewing it, but Christina assured me the maintenance team would deal with them before anyone moves in. The only issue with the application form is that you cannot save your progress and come back to the form at a later date. I had to get some backup scanned to attach to it but I lost all my information in the form when I had to pause and come back to filling it out the next day. Christina worked with me from beginning to end. We had a few communication missteps, but she was helpful throughout. Still working my way through all the required information needed for the tenant account which is quite a lot. More than what I have dealt with in prior apartments. Overall, a good experience but there were times where it was hard to get a hold of anyone in the office since any phone calls go directly to voicemail. This was before having access the tenant portion of the website. Now that I have moved in, I am loving the space and the neighborhood it is located in.

Negative experience: Do not rent from this company. They post that they accept pets and charge an application fee then come back and say that they will not accept pets. I just lost my mom July 1 and I will not give up her dogs. They should have disclosed this information upfront and not list on their own site that they would accept pets. Mind you two of my dogs are ESA as well. This is the worst situation ever to put a person in. I was supposed to move in a week as I did not see any issues and now here I am. And they won’t even fix their error and they were absolutely rude for their mistake.

Negative experience: If you want to lease from a company/business that never answers the phone and ignores issues- you found the one! Second company I’ve leased from and here they never answer, never call you back. When originally applying to rent here in the terms and conditions it stated that money would go towards our security deposit- nope Christina refused and made us pay more to them. Said our carpets were cleaned before we moved in. WET CARPETS ON MOVE IN DAY. And they were gross, honestly they must’ve washed them with plain water. Had to pay a company to come wash them and the water was black. No discount for longer leasing and again- THEY WONT ANSWER OR CALL YOU BACK EVER run from this place in terms of leasing

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been looking for a place to rent for 2 months with no success until we showed interest in a property that Martin Signature was a rep for. We had immediate assistance and help. Christina was very helpful and responsive , and we got the house. I would highly recommend them to everyone I know hunting for a place.

Fantastic experience: My family resided at Martin Signature Properties for almost 12 years. While we paid the rent on time, and did not cause trouble..we had no issues with Martin Management. I would most definitely rent from them again. I am so appreciative that they provided us with a home to raise our children and through the lifespan of our doggies. It will take quite some time to not think of it as my home,. I have never written a recommendation for a landlord before, but it is well deserved. I wish them only the best!!

Negative experience: I called numerous times and sent an email. There plow driver put all the snow from the driveway and covered my sidewalk. Not even a call back or returned email. I hope I'm never in a position that I have to rent from a company like this.

Negative experience: It is gonna be my first and last time dealing with them. It's long story, in the beginning we asked them about the rent price of the property. Christiana told us $750. Then after my fiance made the application she texted him and told him "good news you have been approved, but after I talked with the owners the rent will be $850 and water $30 so the total is $880". REALLY! I don't want $880 rent for 2 beds and 1.5 bathrooms. Also, I lived in the same area no one their pay water bill. Actually, it's unprofessional work.

Negative experience: CAUTION!!! 35 days today & counting and still waiting for maintenance to come into my unit. After they cancelled a few appointments. I've dealt with eight different property management companies and this one is the most unprofessional. I will be leaving my premises soon. Update: 1 month & 23 days... I was able to get maintenance in, but they haven't done ANYTHING & WON'T! Update#2 worst property management company!
