We could not have felt as confident buying a property abroad without the help of this wonderful team at SF Properties. We would highly recommend using them as they sort everything out for you from start to finish especially when you are not even in the country. Fantastic experience: This villa is stunning. It is one of the best villas we have stayed in. The location is amazing and the views are spectacular. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The outside of the villa has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer and also a gas BBQ. It is a few minutes drive into Competa Square where there are lots of lovely restaurants to try. Sergio and his team were prompt with responses when we had questions and also organised a restaurant and transport from the villa for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I can highly recommend the restaurant El Cortijo Paco, the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this villa.

Fantastic experience: Finca El Frontin really is a very special place. Beautifully furnished and equipped it sits in a very private and quiet location just outside the lovely village of Cómpeta. The attention to detail is more than impressive and real thought has clearly gone in to ensuring that guests will have a great time. The pool is gorgeous, the outside areas are perfect for relaxing and dining, the view south towards the coast is stunning and inside everything is very high quality, tasteful and comfortable. Sergio and his team are based in Cómpeta and will help you if you need anything. You get the sense that they're really proud of this property and so they should be - it's the best villa we've ever rented.

Fantastic experience: We were at Finca Loma la Tapia in August. We are very excited. Both the house and the landscape around the finca are beautiful. The house inside is stylishly decorated in a boho style and has air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. Outside there is a large beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees. There are no direct neighbors, and you can enjoy the peace. We had a wonderful vacation and missed nothing. If we come back to Andalusia, we would love to stay again at this beautiful finca.

Fantastic experience: Buying a house in Spain for the first time is an exciting adventure, but in July this year we decided to take this step. The real estate agent who sold the house was SF Properties in Competa. In addition to the contacts of our own broker, the contacts with SF Properties during the entire purchase process were mainly through Josh and Sergio. It was very pleasant to do business with both Johs and Sergio in combination whit our own broker. The communication was complete, clear and sincere and we were properly informed. Due to the quick action of both SF Properties and our own broker, the entire purchase process went smoothly. Even after we have bought the house, Josh and Sergio continue to help us with answering questions and other matters that still need to be arranged. It was very nice to work with Josh and Sergio and have experienced them as honest and sincere people who are happy to think along with you.

Fantastic experience: After reading stories of rife corruption amongst builders, entrepreneurs and estate agents on the Spanish Costas, I was very hesitant about buying a property in Spain. However, I was very fortunate to be assisted in my quest by Adrian from SF Properties in Compéta. Sergio Fernandez promotes his company as “SF Properties and much more” and, indeed, it provides much much more than simply selling clients a property. Sergio, and all of his team (Adrian, Lindsay, Josh and Mari Carmen), go out of their way to help. They accompany you on every step of your path of the buying process (and I would imagine also the selling process, but this was not my case). They know the Compéta area inside out; they are familiar with all the complex procedures in the house-purchasing process in Spain and personally know the local lawyer, notary and town hall representatives. They have vast experience on renovation projects with a comprehensive address book full of names of competent tradesmen able to carry out the simplest or most complex renovation project and they meticulously manage and maintain rental properties. They do not push you into buying a property - a ‘hard-sell’, you are given time to think and reflect and come to your own decision. They have enormous amounts of patience and inspire confidence and trust. And, over and above their professionalism, they are exceedingly nice, warm-hearted, genuinely kind and caring people.

Fantastic experience: We first purchased a tiny bodega to convert to a vacation pad. Sergio knew all the right people to make it happen…permits, plumbing, electric, carpenters, tilers, lawyer (thanks Mr Gant!) everything was taken care of! We did the whole thing without even entering the country and never lifted a finger. Next, we went house searching and finally purchased a house.
