Fantastic experience: Having moved from overseas, both myself and my mother do not speak Spanish (yet). Ivonne, being fluent in both Spanish and English, helped us to ultimately find a house in Estepona. A house that we never thought could ever be available or affordable to us. It is in the middle of Old Town, at a plaza by the big church on the hill, attached only on one side, big (for us) with two big roomy bathrooms, windows on all three sides of the house, a third floor with views everywhere, and a terrace that's above everything and totally private- with views of the whole Old Town rooftops all the way to the ocean to the south, and the mountains to the north. The repairs/ replacements needed are common for its age, with a 1990 modern concrete/ brick re-build. What a find! And affordable. This is because we kept refusing remodeled 'flips'- but Ivonne was patient and kept looking and looking. She knew what we wanted, but it was asking for the impossible. Somehow she found the impossible. Ivonne knew some important info on the multiple listing was incorrect, about this house, and the photos didn't show the location, or the detachment. But she knew- and she got it for us before someone else discovered it. (And we were combing through all the listings every day as well, and missed it). Ivonne drove us back and forth, 50 kilometers + 50 kilometers, countless times, even when we kept showing little interest in the properties. She stuck with us, when we had problems with banking, and residency. She had her lawyer contact us to help us with obtaining our residency cards. Her English is immaculate, and she can converse on many topics, and so her help extended to remodeling, property law, immigration law, shipping and customs, schools, culture, history- everything. She has a team. A lawyer partner specializing in property law, and a construction contractor, who has the contacts and experience to do a complete rehab or a smaller remodel. A smart team. Before, during and after closing, everything was reviewed. She translated the escritura. She had all the papers meticulously organized- transfer tax, land registry, property tax, and more. Our official original title deed is almost ready, all these months later now. The realtors and everybody are paid. But Ivonne is still helping out with the gestor for these last documents. That tells you a lot. She's always a phone call away and always calls back. Always positive and in good spirits, even when you're not. Always helpful, direct and honest. You won't find a better realtor.
