To accept the offer and receive the money, they were very quick. - All we asked for was transparency and guarantees that the operation would proceed, as we had another house reserved and lost the money by sticking with this one. Javier gave us his word that there would be no problem and we would sign the deposit in 3 days. - And then the nightmare began; the 3 days turned into weeks, giving us the runaround and making excuses to delay the signing with lies and no transparency. - Suddenly, they removed the listing from Idealista and Javier gave us no explanations or answered our calls. - I called the agency, and the explanation they gave us was that they decided to stop the sale and that they would return the reservation money without any compensation. The result is that we are left without this house and without the one we had previously reserved, losing the money from the previous reservation and having lived weeks of uncertainty, lack of response, and lies with the stress that this type of purchase generates. I understand that there may be problems with the owners, but I don't understand the lack of transparency and the complete lack of empathy with the client. Negative experience: Seven years ago I bought an apartment in Alcalá de Henares through this agency and my experience with them could not have been, compared to what I just experienced a few weeks ago, more dreadful. I had to forcibly prepare 7 different checks for them (with the banking charges that this entails), solve on my own and hiring an additional management agency the tax obligations of one of the sellers (who resided in Switzerland), do all the paperwork related to the change of supplies, the registration of the apartment, etc. etc. I always had the feeling that they had charged me approximately 6% of the property value for simply opening the front door during the 2 visits I made. Well, the commission that this agency charged me has been much lower than the one GEPPCO charged me back then.
