Negative experience: HogarAbitat is a serious company, but some salespeople are not so serious. They try to please the buyer and deceive the seller by removing some clauses in the purchase contract when receiving the deposit. For this reason, I don't want to say that all the real estate agents of this company are the same, but you have to be careful when signing something. In my case, it was the prorated payment of the property tax, which they removed from the clause, even though it's normal in the deeds for it to be paid by both the seller and the buyer. But the real estate agent eliminated it just to please the buyer and deceived the seller by saying that the payment would be split. BE CAREFUL WHEN SIGNING THE DEPOSIT CONTRACT; WRITTEN CLAUSES CAN DISAPPEAR, BUT NOT VERBAL ONES.

Negative experience: ATTENTION****We made a deposit for an apartment that Hogarabitat advertised as a residential property of 200 m2 on idealista. When we requested the simple note and relevant documentation, we found that the apartment was not registered as a residential property but as a storage space and that it was not 200 m2 but 122 m2. Hogarabitat did not take responsibility for helping us with the return of the deposit, nor for the misleading advertising they carried out on the idealista platform.

Fantastic experience: My experience with HogarAbitat has been very positive. The treatment we received from Félix Rosales has been excellent. A professional person, with great human quality, close to the client, reasonable and with common sense in the conversations held until the formalization of the sale agreement of our house. No pressure or stress to take our house for sale. The truth is that it is appreciated that there are people like Félix in such a large real estate sector; since many times you come across other real estate agencies that lack the slightest professionalism and empathy towards the client. Negative experience: Unpleasant experience, please do not use this real estate agency. They were very kind to us until we delivered the deposit, after which we received the simple note and almost had a heart attack. In the advertisement for the apartment, they offered it as 199 m2 and 160 m2 usable, but the information in the simple note says that the apartment only has 122 m2 usable. Additionally, the apartment is offered as a residence and when we consulted with the cadastre, the municipality reconfirmed that it is not a residential apartment but a warehouse, so we need to change its use, an issue that the agency never made clear to us. Obviously, we did not continue with the purchase as we realized that several things were incorrect and we reconfirmed this when we were told that they would not return our deposit. I do not want to go into more details about the damages caused; we must make a legal claim for the deposit.

Negative experience: I visited an apartment yesterday with David, a salesperson from Valencia. We communicated our interest in the property and wanted to reserve it. He said they would send a form to transfer via email, but that email never arrived. When we managed to contact him, he said it was reserved. When we asked for an explanation, he said the first visit to the apartment went to the office, reserved it, and they didn’t communicate that to us, hahaha. That’s called deception and trickery. I requested a call from a manager in the office to provide a coherent explanation, and we are still waiting. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. I advise you to look for a property through another platform if you are interested, not through this company. I inform you that these things don’t frustrate me; there are many properties to buy, another one will appear, and better. What is upsetting is their poor conduct, and well, we’ll create their version, hahaha, because their response would not have even had the courtesy from their salesperson, David, to communicate it to us.

Negative experience: Hello HogarAbitat, I have a complaint. I had an appointment today, March 22, at 1:00 PM confirmed since Wednesday. Nobody contacted me, so I asked the salesperson at 12:40 and to my surprise, they canceled the visit. I took a day off from work and now who will compensate me for this loss? Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: I scheduled a visit for three days later, nobody showed up for the appointment, and they didn't inform me that they were canceling it. My wife and I waited for an hour, and when I contacted them, their response was 'I don't know what mistake happened that you were given an appointment for a reserved apartment. Well, see you later.' The EGO doesn't allow the person in charge to say even sorry. If they treat potential customers like this, they are on a bad path. Never again with them.

Fantastic experience: At the beginning of this year, for personal and family reasons, we decided to sell our apartment in Cartagena, Islas menores, Eva from HogarAbitat estate agency was the person who contacted me from the beginning, very friendly, very helpful, very frontal, honest and professional, more present , even if on the phone, then other agencies that I contacted in person, one of them I saw the person on the day of signing the representation contract and spoke to her on the phone to say that the apartment was sold, returning to HogarAbitat, they were always in contact, trying to help with the entire process, asking for the necessary papers, giving instructions that were necessary, one day they said there was someone who had paid €1000 to start negotiations and that was the person who purchased my beloved apartment on October 10th. I redecorated everything in that flat, all brand new, or almost new, it was to be my house in my retirement, unfortunately it couldn't be, on the day of the deed I was always in contact with Eva, very helpful, during the deed I told to the buyer that I had paid the service charges until the end of the year (we were on 10/10/2023) that this included water consumption too, but that electricity had to be registered in their name, I was asked by the buyer for my telephone number but I never received the number of one of them , days later I received the invoice from Iberdrola, already a few days after the deeds day that they were from the buyer's responsibility, I paid and informed HogarAbitat as there was no way for me to contact the buyer, Eva told me that they would contact her, weeks later a new invoice from Iberdrola for me to pay in November, I asked Eva (HogarAbitat) for the buyer's response and was told they had nothing to tell me, at that time I decided to have the electricity meter removed as it was the only option offered by Iberdrola, if the buyer did not request the change, I asked HogarAbitat the buyer's contact details as I wanted to request a refund of my money and then I was told that the buyer would send the money paid by me to my account, I provided my bank details and that was done, but all this to say that HogarAbitat (Eva) was always present and easy to contact even after the sale was done. Thank you very much Eva and HogarAbitat for all the help and professionalism provided.

Negative experience: Literally, a ghost agency. They sold me a house in Cartagena. I got in touch with them through a platform, they called me and that's how it started. With WhatsApp messages and calls. A neighbor showed me the house. I never saw them at any point, that's for sure, they don’t charge you a commission or it's included in the price and you don’t realize it. If you want the house, they don’t move unless you pay them 1000 euros. Only then do they talk to the seller. If they accept your offer, then you make the reservation which is attached with the first 1000 euros. They don’t even show up on the day of the sale. I mean, my husband is a lawyer and tax advisor, so he knows how to handle these kinds of things, and we didn’t need a loan, so it was easy, but not thanks to their help, but well, everything went well. You’re not going to ask for pears from an elm tree, especially as I said before, they haven’t charged us a commission, according to them. Maybe that’s why they don’t do their job. On November 5th they sent us a utility bill, saying we owe it to the owner for not changing the electricity, it's to be paid from minute one. Without knowing that the owner cut off the electricity without telling us anything. We thought they were doing it. Okay, we were mistaken and it's our fault for not asking and trusting. But what a surprise, when we called the agency they said they sent us several warnings, which is a lie, and they blame each other. In the end, the joke costs us 120 euros and 5 days without electricity. If you are new to buying property or need a loan, don’t count on this agency. I don’t think they will help you much. You never see them, they might be in bed working and you don’t realize it.

Negative experience: Mediocre companies often confuse 'blame' and 'responsibility'. And HogarAbitat is one of those companies. To begin with, we called several times without getting a response. Finally, after sending a message, they got in touch with us. We scheduled an appointment in a town in southern Valencia (the client is Y.S.M. and the appointment was for today, November 9th, at 5:00 PM, so the real estate agency knows what I'm talking about). They asked us to confirm the appointment, for which we had to request permission from our respective jobs and travel the 70 km distance that separates us from the town. Since we arrived well in advance (formal people are like that), we stopped at a previous town for a coffee. And that’s where, shortly after starting the visit, we received a call from the sales representative to say that the owner of the apartment 'has had some complications', that she is not going to be able to come and that since she has the keys, the appointment is off, asking if maybe next week... Of course, I express my outrage at such informality and ask them to provide us with a solution. The sales representative asks for a few minutes to see if he can show us something in the area, and when he calls back, he simply repeats that the owner cannot come, that he is also in that town and that the office is in Gandía and that he cannot do anything because he has more appointments afterwards, and that 'it’s not his fault'. That is precisely what differentiates good companies from bad ones.
