My family had experience with another real estate agency that has representation all over Spain, but never with a real estate agency that only operated in one locality. There is nothing to envy from the big franchises. José Gutiérrez was my real estate agent from the moment he showed my husband and me the apartment. He explained all the pros and cons of the property, even providing solutions for the cons. Moreover, as soon as I gave the signal, he accompanied me throughout the process, guiding me on the best way to look for a mortgage, calming us down regarding the bank setbacks when they told us they would give us the mortgage now or not; he informed us about the procedures for declaring the property entry from a family loan; which notary to go to; and he had all the documentation from the owners and the real estate agency ready to ensure that the mortgage process and signing went smoothly. To top it off, they provided the updated bills for electricity, water, gas, and the community with instructions on how to change the ownership. Although I summarize it like this, there were moments when we went through a tough time because of the banks; however, José along with his Afinka2 coordinator Miguel Zarco reassured us and told us what steps to take at all times. But the peak of professionalism is that on the signing day, when they had already received their fees, we couldn't sign due to a mismanagement by the bank, and they never left us hanging, as if we hadn't paid them; they continued with us until we received the keys. Additionally, I want to mention that the entire process was transparent and clear. Before getting involved with this agency, I investigated and saw that among the reviews they were judged as expensive because they asked for a down payment of €6000 and fees of €3509; believe me, everything depends on the circumstances. For a couple like us, who were buying an apartment for the first time, it wasn't expensive at all because we paid for professionalism, peace of mind, and efficiency. Furthermore, it has nothing to envy from other agencies that have many franchises that ask for higher fees and, in the end, the work is of the same quality.
