Fantastic experience: Very good treatment from Chelo and David at Gamonal

Negative experience: I have no good words to describe how I felt when a woman attended to us at this real estate agency. She prejudged us the moment she saw us, and when we explained what we wanted (we were looking for a specific house), she assumed that I was Roma, stating that I wanted to live in the immaculate neighborhood... I have no issues with that ethnicity or any other, but she seems to. I set a more than acceptable budget, but she didn't seem to care much, sending me her contact card and saying that I would receive offers, which after a month, have not arrived. No one called me since we were told in the office that it was reserved, and if it became available, they would call us. We were also told when given the card that we would receive any type of offer, as she couldn't filter what would be sent to us. And yes, it had a garage. Disastrous experience and shameful to feel at the mercy of getting on well with the person who has to find your house. Disgusted is putting it mildly. I give one star but only because I can't post the review without it.

Fantastic experience: This is, without a doubt, the best real estate agency in Burgos. They have managed the purchase and sale of two properties for us in an excellent manner. From the first to the last member of this agency, they have shown us agility, efficiency, and an absolutely commendable closeness. A good difference compared to other real estate agencies.

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience with this real estate agency, be cautious if you decide to rent or buy here. I will recount what happened to me next. Firstly, I contacted the real estate agency through Idealista about an apartment for rent. There was no response (despite writing and calling right after the ad was posted). Hours later, I try again, and they inform me that the apartment is already reserved. The next day, they contact me and let me know that it can finally be visited. After the visit, I decide to take the apartment. They inform me that they ask for €400 to reserve the property (which, in case we do not end up taking the apartment, is NON-refundable). My surprise?? They tell me that 'it's better in cash, otherwise they have to charge me VAT.' It smells like a scam... I proceed to pay the money via bank transfer at the office (after consulting our lawyer, he confirmed that this is completely illegal, just as other users indicate) and they confirm that the reservation has been made. After a week without news, they tell us that everything is correct and that they will set a date to sign the contract. Half an hour later, they notify us that the owner has decided to rent the apartment to a relative, and we are left without the property. Lack of seriousness, illegal money clauses and commission concepts, bad behavior, arrogant, and very unprofessional. When we demanded the refundable reservation money, the office manager almost spat in our face. Once and never again.

Negative experience: I have had two experiences with this real estate agency, and since I was not convinced by their policy of charging some fees that do not correspond, I went to another real estate agency, and the truth is that everything was phenomenal, and they did not charge me the fees that Inmobiliaria Plaza intended to charge me.

Negative experience: A very disappointing experience. I had a clear and structured conversation with Chelo on WhatsApp, in which she confirmed an appointment for a second visit to an apartment, scheduled for 4 PM, which my relatives would also attend. We arrived promptly at the agreed place, but Chelo did not show up. When I wrote to inform her, she replied that the appointment was at 6 PM. I forwarded our conversation where she confirmed the time, and she called me insinuating that I had misunderstood the message, even though the written conversation was clear. Later, she told me that she probably mixed up the messages. Despite the obvious mistake on her part, I tried to find a solution amicably, but Chelo maintained a haughty and unprofessional tone, insisting that the visit had to be at 6 PM or it wouldn't happen. This treatment was especially frustrating given that it was the second visit and my relatives had traveled to accompany me. When pointing out that her attitude was being unpleasant and informal, Chelo abruptly ended the call and later sent me unpleasant WhatsApp messages, to the point that I had to block her. It is worth noting that the first visit was handled by David, who was charming and professional.

Negative experience: They do not comply with the updated housing law of 2023. They try to scam you by inventing management expenses (poor management, by the way) that they make the tenant pay when it's not their responsibility. It's a shame that they take advantage of people like this; they have the nerve. Don't fall for their lies or let them scam you.

Negative experience: Do not rent from any real estate agency that wants to scam you by charging you for something that is not your responsibility. The new Housing Law, which came into effect recently across Spain, regulates the collection of commissions or fees from real estate agencies in rental operations, expressly prohibiting charging tenants. The costs of property management and contract formalization will be borne by the landlord in regular housing rentals (art. 2 LAU). - If they charge you a rental reservation, it must be deducted from the deposit or first month's rent. - Even if you agree to pay the fees, you are not obligated to comply with this agreement because the law does not allow agreements contrary to its provisions. - If they disguise it as a 'housing search' service or 'advisory service' and the property was already part of their portfolio, they cannot charge the tenant because that was a prior assignment from the owner. - Do not accept false temporary rental contracts. - Also, do not let them disguise the fees as an additional guarantee or deposit that will not be refunded at the end of the contract. - No cash payments without a receipt. If you encounter any of this, do not let it go, file a complaint, and leave a negative review, thus preventing them from trying to deceive others and ensuring that professionals who do their job well are not judged by a minority.

Negative experience: THEY DO NOT WORK ACCORDING TO THE HOUSING LAW In May 2023, the housing law changed, and it clearly states that the costs of real estate services, in full housing rentals and for long-term contracts, must be paid by the landlord. For Plaza Inmobiliaria, this model is unsustainable because rentals require a lot of work, and they insist that it is the tenant who has to pay. They argue that the new law's model is unsustainable. Despite the clear wording of the law, they refuse to comply. Please, future tenants, educate yourselves so you do not pay expenses that are not your responsibility. With this, I do not want to criminalize their workers who are just following orders.

Fantastic experience: A WONDERFUL TEAM. They have attended to us spectacularly, especially Chelo. We were looking for a property to invest in, and from the very first moment, she understood our intentions and guided us to the property we bought, without making us look at other things, advising us and resolving our doubts. Without a doubt, I would trust them again without hesitation.

Negative experience: The experience couldn't have been worse. I walked in to inquire about a property, everything was fine until the colleague next door arrived. Without knowing my personal life, she made assumptions that my husband and I earn 2000, when it could be more or less. She subjected me to a third degree, and when I asked if she was from the bank, she said no, that I could give her colleague banking documents to assess my situation, which I don't think they need to know much more than that I'm interested in an apartment, since the bank is the one who decides whether to give me the loan or not, whether I have a bank guarantee, which I told her was indeed a possibility; it's my problem whether I pay or not, and so on. I believe the real estate agency should focus on selling and showing the apartment, unless your agency is dedicated to something else. People who walk in should be treated better. I wouldn't walk in again even if I decided to sell my house or buy another one. Regards.

Negative experience: They advertise properties that are not for sale and on top of that, they don't have them in their portfolio. At the very least, they should have their own updated listings. In the end, they are just like the others; all they care about is their commission.

Negative experience: Te rechazan directamente por tener mascotas, es que ni se plantean trabajar con ellas, no te dan ninguna posibilidad. Vaya prejuicios en pleno siglo XXI en el que las mascotas se consideran parte de la familia.

Negative experience: Fatal experiencia. Venimos de otra ciudad para ver pisos.. Vemos uno con SAMUEL.. Le decimos q nos interesa y aún sabiéndolo le enseña a otros. Quedamos en la puerta esperando número de cuenta. Salen los otros clientes rápidos.. Y cuando baja el susodicho trabajador a los 10 min nos dice q ya está alquilado. Me he sentido de verdad estafada pues el sabía q veníamos de fuera y la faena q nos hacía. De VERGÜENZA!!! QUE JUEGUEN ASÍ CON LA GENTE
