Negative experience: After the bad experience with the sales representative, I called asking for the manager and left a note to try to redirect the situation. In the afternoon, the same lady who takes messages over the phone called me back, telling me that Roger was not going to return my call and that she was responsible for the rental of the premises I inquired about and that I should discuss with her what I needed. After explaining to her the reason for my call, she denied everything, even the things I had heard, trying to excuse and justify her boss. When I told her that I had heard everything myself, she said she had nothing else to discuss and that she no longer wanted to rent the premises.

Negative experience: The worst experience of my life with a real estate agency. I called on a Thursday interested in a nearly 600 square meter space/office on Pamplona Street 95. I was transferred to 'Sergi', who claims to be the sales agent. I told him we wanted to see it as soon as possible, 'Friday isn't good for me', okay, how about Monday? We scheduled for Monday, and he seemed to show little enthusiasm while trying to explain that finding the interior door is complicated but that I would see a red door, blah, blah, blah. I said 'let's meet outside instead, okay? I will be there at 1:30 sharp.' And that’s how we agreed. I made a note, he clearly did NOT. Monday arrives, and we're left hanging. A quarter to the hour I called his office, 'he's not here. I’ll try to call him and let you know.' They didn’t return my call. We waited a few more minutes and I called again, 'please hold, he’s on another call and isn’t answering messages.' Nothing. So that’s that. Our lunch hour wasted for four people from our company. In the afternoon, we expected an explanation. Could something have happened? The least one could expect is an apology. But nothing. I called, because the place was still of interest to us despite the terrible customer service, and I was transferred to the aforementioned Sergi. Here comes the best part: - Yes; what do you want? (Maximum level of arrogance) - Well, I don’t know, I’ve been with 3 colleagues waiting at the door. - But didn’t the doorman show it to you? (noting we didn’t see any doorman, if there was one) - Well no, but we had an appointment and you didn’t show up. - That’s not true, we didn’t have an appointment, we said it was pending confirmation. And if you're coming at me with these excuses, we don't need to continue, I don’t owe you any explanation. - (Astonished) Can I speak to someone in charge of the real estate agency? - That’s me, and don’t come to me with that, you can go take a hike... (it’s understood, he said it outright) And then he hung up. I called back and told him everything I thought about him, his total lack of professionalism, his nonexistent manners, etc. And here’s where he surpassed himself: - Come and let’s go to the street and you can have a nice... I called asking for his partner and brother. He didn’t answer. The lady who answered the phone took a note, and again, no one called back. We have learned that his reputation in the sector is poor, especially due to his arrogance and the lack of integrity. It also turns out that the property we visited belongs to a family whom we will of course talk to. They need to know to whom they entrust their exclusive assets and how it is being taken care of.
