Fantastic experience: In the bay of Palamós to Calonge, I learned to love the Mediterranean 25 years ago. The long promenade, the restaurants, and the town of Palamós itself. There is a harbor that is not only made up of leisure boats. A small fishing fleet supplies the region. In the harbor is the professional auction hall of the traders. Next to it, you can buy fish immediately. Larger ships also dock in the harbor. The whole place does not only belong to the tourists, who flood everything in the summer; we are also part of it. However, this year in October, we were there and spent every day in the sea, which only a few do. The water was a dream. As a family, half of us being locals, we really enjoyed having everything in such a lively place. If we were to move back to Catalonia, Palamós would be our destination.

Positive experience: Pleasant historic center with shops of various kinds. The center is not situated all at the same level, there are some uphill and downhill paths, and of course the route is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
