Negative experience: Cuidado con esta inmobiliaria, realizan prácticas ilegales vulnerando la ley de viviendas que entró en vigor en 2023 Artículo 20.1 de la Ley 29/1994 de Arrendamientos Urbanos (modificado por la Ley 12/2023, que quiere decir? Que los gastos de gestión inmobiliaria y los de formalización del contrato serán a cargo del arrendador, y no del arrendatario, llegando a pedir 1000€ de comisión por gestión de contrato usando vacíos legales, siendo el propietario de la vivienda quien debe pagar dicha comisión al solicitar el servicio inmobiliario.

Fantastic experience: The Universal office staff in Torremolinos were very helpful to us when we made use of their services in our search for suitable property earlier this year. We worked closely with Armando and developed a good working relationship with him. We received very professional service and benefitted from his local knowledge of the area and the types of property available. Whilst we have learned to speak Spanish, Armando's English is excellent so this was an added bonus. We highly recommend both him and this office if people are looking to work with an efficient and trustworthy organisation in their search for a home.

Fantastic experience: Excellent real estate agency for managing buying, selling, and long-term rentals. They are honest and professional. Seeing other clients' comments, I understand they had bad experiences and vent by writing negative things. That is certainly not my experience. I have dealt with Armando 'hijo' and he seems like a friendly, attentive, and helpful person. Always willing to assist. Elena, the director, is charming. I have also interacted with Rosa and it has been very pleasant. I suppose in interpersonal relationships, each case is a world. I definitely recommend them. It is difficult to find a better real estate agency. I have dealt with at least four others in the area and, in general, my experience has been somewhat neglectful. This is not the case with Inmobiliaria Universal. I recommend them without a doubt. They have been in the business for many years and it shows. If you are going to rent long-term with them, you can also look into rental insurance with Mapfre, which is right across the street. They know each other and coordinate wonderfully. There are many procedures to go through for an insurer to give approval to tenants. That is also a good move.

Negative experience: The real estate agency is not to blame for having Armando, the worst real estate agent in history, apathetic, arrogant, and once he collects his commission, he ignores everything and you have to fend for yourself. They still owe me 3 electricity bills for not doing the work he was supposed to do since you pay a fee for him to take care of everything. On top of that, he blames me. SHAMEFUL!! I send an email to the agency and they ignore me... The worst real estate agency I have ever encountered, they owe me money and they don't take responsibility!! THIEVES

Negative experience: Terrible service. It seems that instead of selling you apartments, they are doing you a favor. Fortunately, there are many other real estate agencies in Torremolinos.

Negative experience: We got in touch with them to visit an apartment, they scheduled us for the next day and told us they would send the location via WhatsApp. After a few hours without receiving the location, we started calling the real estate agency up to 20 times, and they hung up the calls. We found another phone number on Google and they answered us there. We agreed to meet the next day at the apartment's doorstep to visit it. The next day, 10 minutes before the agreed time, they told us they didn't know if we would be able to do the visit because they were depending on the tenant. I was quite surprised that the time for the visit arrived and they still hadn't managed it. After telling them we had to see the apartment since we had stayed another night in Torremolinos just for this reason, we managed to arrange the visit with them. When we got to the apartment, the agency person stayed at the door and told us to take a look around the apartment by ourselves, that she would not show us around. She didn't help us at any moment, nor did she provide any kind of information. We brought up the topic of negotiating the price, and rather arrogantly, she answered that if she sees an apartment and likes it, she buys it without looking at anything else. The next day we contacted them again to ask a series of questions since we were interested in the apartment, all of which received the same response: 'I DON'T KNOW....' Everything seemed very unprofessional, and the impression we were left with was that they had no intention of helping us. We do not recommend.

Negative experience: Unpleasant experience with the real estate agency, or at least with the person who attended us; the lack of professionalism leaves much to be desired. At no point did they lend us help and it seemed like they were doing us a favor by selling us the apartment. I want to highlight that I am from the Basque Country, and during the visit, they went off on making very unfortunate comments, delving into political topics without knowing what kind of person they were talking to. With this, I say it all. After everything and seeing now the comments regarding the real estate agency, I am very glad I didn't negotiate with them.

Negative experience: Publican viviendas sin ni siquiera tener las llaves. Llamas para concertar cita para verlas y te dicen que te avisaran. Horas después desaparecen esas viviendas de internet y de su página web.

Negative experience: Son maleducado y muy poco profesionales , tratamos con Rosa, una persona de lo más informal. Cuando teníamos un trato con una casa quitan el anuncio, para una semana después subirla. Todavía seguimos a la espera de su llamada.Juegan con la ilusión de las personas. Hay muchas inmobiliarias, mi consejo es no tratar con ellos.

Negative experience: Me ha sorprendido leer dos comentarios iguales a lo que nos pasó a nosotros. El día 15 de abril teníamos una cita con una tal Rosa (tenemos WhatsApp acreditándolo). Ese día estaba lloviendo y habíamos quedado a las 18.00 junto a una propiedad. Íbamos mi mujer y mi hijo de 17 meses. Llegamos 10 minutos antes y a las 18.10 llamamos tres veces a la tal Rosa y no nos coge el teléfono. Llamamos al fijo de la inmobiliaria y hablamos con una mujer delgada y bastante altiva, creo que es una tal Helena o Elena. Nos dijo que la tal Rosa estaba de viaje y que no eran infalibles y tras tenernos unos 15 minutos en la puerta de la propiedad lloviendo. Nos dice que está sola en la oficina ( la oficina dista 1.2 kms desde donde estábamos)y que no va a ir nadie. Me presento a las 18.45 en la puerta de la oficina y la señora tenía la puerta cerrada y le digo que vengo a poner una reclamación por dejarnos tirados. Esta mujer mayorcita maleducada no me abre y le digo que voy a llamar a policía local para que me de las hojas de reclamaciones.Tuve que llamar a P.local para que me diese las hojas de reclamaciones. Parece y podría ser además, y no voy dar detalles, que detrás de estas prácticas se encuentran ciertos motivos.... No se fíen de al menos de estas dos personas.

It is a small "family" business which dispenses with inessential trimmings and focuses on clear and informative advice and transactions. The staff have been very friendly and efficient and their English language proficiency is absolutely perfect: quite rare in this business....and much appreciated.
