Carla responded quickly answering all of our questions and offered to do a live video tour of a place we liked. Having heard from the expat forums that securing a place was stressful and difficult, we were so grateful that Carla helped us secure our lovely home without any hassle or visiting in person! She helped with the moving in arrangements and provided information to help us settle into a new city. She is professional, friendly and speaks fluent English.

Fantastic experience: Nerea helped me every step of the way, even through some hiccups related to my bank transfers, she reassured me things would be ok. I was super anxious but she was able to calm me down with her expertise, professionalism, and kind demeanor. I was able to secure my dream apartment thanks to her going above and beyond.

We couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided by Inmobiliaria Monserrate. What they advertise is exactly what you find during the visits, and their closing process is efficient and quick. Nerea even assisted us on holidays, which speaks very well of her attitude towards helping the client.

Negative experience: I would strongly advise against dealing with this brokerage, they charged me an agency fee that is illegal since the new housing law N.12/2023 dated 05/24/2024. In addition, the house was delivered dirty and with defects, when I confronted them about the illegal agency fee they named the defects they finally fixed, as if the agency fee was charged for that. My lawyer indicates that it is illegal and he will take over the case. People watch out for these illegal practices and know your rights!

Negative experience: No recomendable 100%, cuando se abandona el piso se busca la mínima excusa para no devolver la fianza. Cuando se estropea cualquier cosa de la casa hay que ir detrás de ellos para que la reparen y aún así, muchas de ellas se quedan sin reparar.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Carmen, she helped me to find a furnished apartment to rent. I would highly recommend her. After one meeting and a few questions she understood my requirements and was able to propose only a few options exactly matching my requirements. After seeing 2nd apartment I made the offer. She was very helpful through all steps in the process: negotiated with the landlord, performed detailed inventory, met me at the apartment during her week-end day, and answered timely all questions. She speaks fluently English, that is an asset for a real estate agent.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Valencia in November of last year and stumbled across Nerea who was advertising a few properties that we were interested in. From the start she was very helpful and attentive! Even though we gave her very short timeframes she was able to pick us up from our hotel and take us around properties that she had hand picked for us as well as properties that we had seen online. She was very knowledgeable when it came to moving to Spain and anything she wasn’t sure if she found out for us or pointed us in the right direction. In the end we found a property that we moved into and Nerea was able to help us with having items delivered to the properly before we arrived as well as helping us with our residency. Overall it was a really positive experience and a lot better than I have had in other countries including the U.K. Once again thank you Nerea!!!
