Negative experience: Cannot give a lower rating. We have had electrical issues since my roommates and I arrived at the apartment, and we are almost a month in with no resolution. For half a month, there wasn't enough electricity to use the washing machine, oven, and stove properly. Now we have been without electricity since the early morning, and they don’t even respond to us. The only response we got was that we need to be patient for 10-15 days while they fix it. Obviously, we cannot be without electricity for 10-15 days, and they do not respond to us with any further explanation! We were also without internet, and they said the same thing, to be patient.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I don't know where to start and I don't want to go on too long. First, I want to thank Jesús for his integrity as a person, his great professionalism, his empathy, determination, and infinite patience. It wasn't an easy sale, and I had everything against me to carry out the operation. Thanks to Jesús and his contacts, against all odds, the sale was successfully completed. I just want to infinitely thank Jesús for his help and commitment; without him, I would have never sold the house. God came to see me... So all I have left to say is that if you need to sell your house, don't hesitate; this is your agency.

Negative experience: Terrible agency, I was supposed to move into the house on September 1st but they told me I would move in on September 2nd because it’s the weekend. On October 29th I had an emergency in my country and I requested a refund for the security deposit and utilities like gas and water.... They refused to refund me that amount. I told them no problem, they could take the first month's rent but refund me the deposit since I won't be moving into the house. In the end, he refused to talk to me and ignored me, I advise against working with them.

Negative experience: I have lived for the last 13 months in two of these apartments and could not be more dissatisfied. To begin with, neither has a living room, which forces you to spend time in your bedroom and this becomes limiting and overwhelming (most are quite small, too). The ventilation also leaves much to be desired, especially in the kitchen. Additionally, all the apartments are in less central areas and this makes it not worth paying what you pay for the conditions of these rooms, it's excessive. I understand that Madrid is more expensive than other cities, but rooms (more usage of common areas) in areas like Usera, Villaverde, Vallecas, Entrevías (even in the office they warned me that they didn't think it was a good area to live in) etc. cannot cost almost €500 with expenses (that's what I have paid because I always aimed low) or more. And the worst thing is the customer service, without a doubt. I have been complaining for a whole year that the cleaning did not meet the established deadlines, they take a long time to respond to you via WhatsApp (they never answer the phone if you call) and incidents are resolved very slowly. I spent three months notifying about a fire from the broken ceramic hob, and a burnt bulb in the extractor. They did not come to fix it. I also spent a month requesting them to come fix one of the showers because it constantly had problems, they did not come either… In short, everything is bad. The only good thing I can say is that they were always kind in the office, although what they lacked was to be rude.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. I contacted them on a Friday about an apartment I was interested in buying which had been posted for only a few seconds (so few that they themselves were surprised), being the first to inquire. I asked to see it as soon as possible to not miss the opportunity, and they scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon assuring me that I would be the first to see it. I insisted that if they had any earlier viewings, they should let me know to maintain priority, and they said of course, no problem. Naturally, I was attentive all weekend. On Monday, my family and I traveled, having to ask for time off at our jobs, and I, coming from 150 km away, learned halfway through the morning via an alert from Idealista that not only had they lied to me about the priority, but that the apartment had been sold to someone else when, supposedly, they weren't going to start showing it until that afternoon. To top it off, when I explained my dissatisfaction to Jesús, he left me on read. No professionalism, and certainly no courtesy.

Negative experience: Thieves of the worst kind. Avoid this agency, it's a trap.

Negative experience: Nightmare landlord. - Went without heating for over a month in the middle of winter, both room heating and water heating. Delayed doing anything about it for many weeks, technicians were not called despite our complaints. - Condescending and malicious attitude towards renters. Making us suffer without heating in winter seemed to be a game to them. - 2.5 months have passed since I have moved out and still have not received my rental deposit despite multiple chasers and me returning the room in perfect condition.

Negative experience: - Almost all the rooms they rent are in apartments where there is no living room, so you will be locked in your room 24/7. - We spent an entire winter without heating, we downloaded the heater manual from the internet to make it work until one day it stopped working, a supposed technician took all the heaters to 'repair' them and we never heard from them again. - The cleaning service that supposedly came once a week only comes when someone complains. - If the contract ends on a weekend or holiday, they force you to leave earlier and they will not refund the remaining days you have already paid for, even if they say otherwise. - It has been 4 months since my contract ended and they still haven’t refunded my deposit even though they already acknowledged that I returned the room without any issues.

Fantastic experience: We recently sold two homes with Nuevo Hogar, everything perfect, very attentive in resolving doubts, advising, ten out of ten from start to finish.

Negative experience: I am one of the people who lived in this housing for more than two years and every day that passed was chaos. First, they never cleaned, it was full of cockroaches and humidity, the appliances broke down all the time. If you turned on the stove and the washing machine at the same time, the fuses would blow. The fridge broke down and the food spoiled, and they never bothered to refund anything. They stole 400€ from my deposit; they are thieves. I wouldn't recommend it for anything in the world, if you are a foreigner, do not even think about going to one of their homes. We should unite and file a complaint to get our money back. The attention from the staff is terrible, they are rude and the head of this, don't even get me started, I will write it in capital letters: DO NOT CONTRACT THE SERVICE OF THIS COMPANY. They are also listed as Capital Rooms... they are going to steal from you because that’s what they seek, TO STEAL your money. I will show photos so you can see the misfortune I lived in, they are opportunists taking advantage of needy foreigners. Besides, they charge 60€ just to make you a contract, and if you want to renew, they will charge you another 60€. I will publish the photos so you can see and open your eyes.

Negative experience: I agree with SCAMMERS, I rented a room and it was in terrible condition, the whole floor, and I left immediately. We agreed that they would at least return the rental money, and in the end, they stole a thousand euros from me. They are a bunch of slobs to put it mildly.

Negative experience: I just called to inquire about a property, and instead of providing me with the information I requested, the advisor only told me that the property was for people with a salary, only 3, who could afford the cost. The gentleman deduced from my accent that I wouldn't be able to afford it!!!! It's a shame that in 16 years of living in this wonderful country, this is the first time I have experienced such discrimination.

They must think that by doing this, they start over with a high rating, but it must last very little, because they are the worst there is for renting an apartment. Google won’t let me give any stars, because that’s what this type of real estate agency deserves. Thieves, tricksters, liars. All of them. If you are looking for problems, you will find them here; if not, avoid them. Don’t even pass by the door. They rent out apartments that are not in a condition to be rented, and they know it, as they have prior complaints about the bad state, and yet they continue to list them for rent. You have to insist and insist and insist until you tell them you will write a complaint letter for them to finally get up from the comfort of their chairs. Otherwise, they won’t lift a finger to try to solve the issues and they wouldn’t return my deposit. And to top it all off, they mistreat you, insult you, are discriminatory, and completely disrespectful. They are criminals, so you know. You are warned.

Negative experience: In my room there was a black mold stain, humidity, on the wall next to the ceiling but I was going to be working in the mornings and studying in the afternoons so I was hardly going to see the stain and it wasn't spreading so I said nothing. In the days leading up to my departure, I saw comments where they also talked about the mold and how they hadn't returned the deposit or had kept a large percentage of the deposit to fix the mold, so I mentioned it to the real estate agency and they told me that I should have said that when I moved in. I told them that even if the stain wasn't there when I moved in and formed later, I shouldn't have to pay for the fix since according to the law, these expenses caused without the tenant's fault are the landlord's responsibility. In one bathroom, the shower tray didn't work, the kitchen was usually a bit dirty, and in the end, they returned me almost the total amount of the deposit because my brother lives in Madrid and sometimes stopped by the real estate agency reminding them that they had to return it to me.

Negative experience: I give one star because you can't give less. Eight months after signing the termination of the contract with the real estate agency, I can finally say that they haven't kept a single euro of mine. They breached the contract from the moment I signed it, because the room was not in the conditions it was supposed to be (neither in terms of cleanliness nor anything else, and they barely did anything to resolve these 'issues' that were already present in the room before I moved in). Thanks to the rental intermediary being Spotahome, I stayed in that room for only a week and recovered almost all my money, but still part of it was missing. Today, eight months later, after making a complaint to consumer services, I can say that they haven't taken a single euro. I encourage anyone who has had problems with them to file a complaint, because although it took longer than I expected, I was able to recover everything.

Especially, if you are an international student, don't even think about renting from this terrible agency. 1) When we moved in to the house, it was extremely dirty even though they lied that they cleaned the house. It was dirty like a house that has never been visited in the last 10 years: sticky shelfs, sticky walls, used ear cottons, used razors... It was awful. They kept lying and asked for more money if we want another round of "cleaning". 2) Oven, stove, dishwasher were broken. Washing machine followed them after a month. I don't think they do regular repairs or so. 3) In the second week, we learnt that they will build a wall inside the house, within 10 following days. Yes, that THEY WILL BUILD A WALL. Their plan was to make our open living room as the third room of the house, even tho we rented a 2+1 house. When we asked if this was a joke, they said that we only rented the rooms, so they are allowed to build anything in the living room, while we are inside. Completely breaking the terms of the contract. We wasted 2-3 months on revising the contract and finding legal knowledge from local people, but the reason that it was so much time was about trying to reach them via phone as they were hanging up on the phone to our Spanish friend consistently. After a couple of months, they were scared that we can take legal action on this and they backed up. After ignoring us for months and telling us we can’t do anything. Imagine our wasted time. 4) They do not comply with contract terms. For example, they don't send the cleaner twice a month at all. You need to beg them for weeks for them to send a cleaner to your house. If you are lucky and insistent enough, you might get the cleaner opportunity that you have already paid for, once a month, hurray! Oh, and, they might send the cleaner on a day and time that you have a really important meeting, because they think that your timing is not valuable, only the cleaner's is. They literally message this words. And the cleaner talks on phone loudly while you’re working inside the house. 5) They do not respect you if you don't speak Spanish, or speak quite ok for daily life. You basically need to be a native for them to take you seriously. You need to have Spanish speaking friends to help you if you encounter any problem with them. 6) Only good thing about this agency is the repair guy they send. He is very helpful and nice. I wish and advice the others to take a course on how to treat foreigners in your country, nicely. Overall, a terrible company always making you beg for the services you paid, applying discrimination, and coming up with sudden construction projects while you’re living in the house. The positive comments here are totally fake. I hope some day they understand how they make people feel in a foreign country with noone to help around.

Negative experience: After two years in a rental apartment with them, they haven't resolved the issues that the apartment had since day one of the contract signing (the broken tiles in the kitchen). I have been waiting for a technician they promised to send since August 31, 2021. Miss Marina doesn't respond to the reported incident, not to mention Miss Estela and other people who work at this real estate agency, it's shameful! They only offered to fix the issues in the apartment after I asked for a complaints form.

Pero a pesar de esto, después de mi desalojo y dos semanas de silencio, unilateralmente me retuvieron el 65% del depósito para la reparación de este muro, ¡aunque NO ROMPE UN SOLO PUNTO DE LOS TÉRMINOS DEL CONTRATO! NUEVO HOGAR SL no proporcionó respuestas profesionales a mis preguntas y vulneró por completo mis derechos como inquilino y consumidor. No recomiendo encarecidamente esta agencia para la cooperación. En lugar de tratar de manera justa y honesta los problemas emergentes con el cliente, CONSULTING NUEVO HOGAR SL guarda un silencio cobarde, perdiendo la confianza y el respeto. ¿Qué reputación es esta?

Negative experience: Rooms. Madrid, podrían ser amables y escuchar las necesidades de los clientes. Aunque no hayan habitaciones disponibles pese a haberlas ofrecido, podrían buscar una solución. Para devolver la fianza podrían ofrecer soluciones viables para las partes. Aunque se presentaron situaciones incómodas la habitación era moderna y tenía lo necesario para estar cómodo.

Negative experience: I was living 6 months in a room rented through this agency. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. There was a number of details that showed lack of respect and lack of general caring about their clients. Most important of all was when they were pressuring me to sign a new, more expensive contract, even though we have already signed one previously. But they were convincing me it was a mistake and that I have to sign, and pretended not to understand me for my Spanish skills. Generally, I felt treated like as if i was a child and as if they were doing me a favor by renting. Employees of the agency were generally rude whenever something didn't go their way.

Negative experience: Una falta total de respeto. Es la segunda vez que intento alquilar una habitación con esta inmobiliaria. En las redes figuran como Rooms Madrid. La primera vez, aceptable ya que la estabamos yendo a ver y la persona anterior a nosotros la reservo. La segunda una completa verguenza. Hable con Fabiola y le dije que le reservaba la habitación al día siguiente en la oficina y me dijo que vaya a la tarde. Cuando fui despues de irme antes de mi trabajo para llegar a primera hora, me dice que su compañera habia reservado la habitación a otra persona. Conclusión, quizo quedarse con su comisión y poco le importo el cliente. Negative experience: Nos compramos un piso y dijeron cosas luego no resultaron eran verdad, nos dijeron al comprador no nos iban a cobrar y alguna hora sorpresa fue nos cobraron y nos engañaron con algunas cositas más. No es muy buena confianza la verdad. Estoy bastante disgustada y eso ya hace 3 años.....

Fantastic experience: Mi experiencia con esta empresa como comprador ha sido muy satisfactoria. Aunque era reticente a comprar por medio de agencia inmobiliaria ,por malas experiencias en otras compras, con otras agencias, al final han sido todo facilidades, documentación antes de la compra, documentación y gestiones para la notaría y siempre con una comunicación fluida y resolutiva. Gracias en concreto a Jesús que fue nuestro agente.

Fantastic experience: Mi más sincera enhorabuena a los profesionales que trabajan en la inmobiliaria, especialmente a Juan, quien desde el primer día en el que entramos para informarnos de la venta del piso nos atendió con una profesionalidad y cercanía con la que en ninguna otra agencia con mucho nombre nos habían tratado. Todo el trámite ha sido rápido y efectivo, la venta de la vivienda se cerró en 15 días, acompañándonos en todo el proceso de venta del piso hasta el final, incluida la firma de la compraventa. Tanto Juan, como su equipo, han trabajado con profesionalidad, cariño y entrega, manteniéndonos informados en todo momento y aclarando con rapidez y eficacia todas las dudas que han ido surgiendo durante el proceso de la venta, así como cuestiones fiscales y de impuestos ajenas a ellos que nos han ahorrado algunos euros. Fantastic experience: Excelentes profesionales. Especialmente Jesús que se esmero en todo el proceso de venta. Rápidos y recomendables.

Negative experience: Experiencia nefasta. No son nada profesionales. Tuvimos problemas con ellos desde el primer día y además no se les ve "trigo limpio". Cada problema que teníamos nos ponían en visto sin responder el whatsapp durante días. Aconsejaron al casero poner una denuncia falsa (la prueba la conversación de whatsapp con ellos) al seguro para arreglar un desperfecto de mantenimiento de una puerta blindada, y al venir el perito y ver que eso no entraba en el seguro, se negaron a arreglar nada, incluso tuvimos que llegar al punto de enviarles un burofax y ni por esas. Ese es solo un pequeño ejemplo de todo lo que tuvimos que pasar con ellos. No la recomiendo para nada.
